After three long years Support a Skeith is back!

Welcome To Support a Skeith, or SaS. This is a small page created in honnor of the mistreated Neopian, the Skeith. I hope you enjoy reading through the information I have gathered on these wonderful dragons.

Support a Skeith, was created in sometime in 2006. It was hosted by various Skeiths I owned at the time. Sadly, I've lost many of the accounts they're on am I'm only left with two: Montre, my first Skeith, and Elks.

Due to cruising around petpages I happened to see the old link of SaS still around this (and a friend Brian) compelled me to recreate this lovely site ,in love of such a lovely neopet. I hope you enjoy.

The Skeith

The Skeith according to neopets' Pet info is defined as:
The largest inhabitants of Neopia. They are Quite strong but also lazy, preferring to get smaller creatures to do things for them.

Not much else is said about them, sadly. Looking at more popular species, like a lupe, one will notice two info pages avaiable to the masses. Skeith are among one of the many who've yet to receive the second said page.

Skeiths are objected to many jokes, they tend to bring out Neo's more cruely comical side. Their large guts and bad eating habits bring them down in popularity scale at 34th place out of 54 pets. There is over 2,800,000 skeiths in existence. Yes, that is indeed a large number but one must consider there is an estimated of over 240,000,000 neopets on this site.

Strolling through the pound you will more then likely see most of the Skeith populace. Back in the days before the conversion a hungry Skeith would grab hold of any random item in your inventory and eat it (Same for the Grarrl). I've yet to have this happen to me anymore though. (If someone had this happen to them neomail me please) Many people who owned the Skeith were not very fond of this and they were often pounded. But if we look at the lovable lugs' eating habits in a more positive way: We'll see that they can eat any unwanted items too. Skeiths eat anything they can find. apart from cheese, They're allergic to it (I found this out the hard way). this means keeping them fed and happy is even cheaper and easier then putting a pet in the neolodge.

Skeiths are also one of the four dragon Neopets: Scorchio, Shoyrus, Draiks and Skeiths. Though I'm sure not many people wish to believe this. There are a few images of a Skeith blowing fire or flying. Besides their size , one thing I think defines the Skeith from all the others are their lovely ears. I'm sorry but no matter how much you draw ears on your Draik or precious little Shoyru, it is still deep down, an earless freak. Skeiths Are the big tyrants of the Neopian Dragon world. Thus they deserve much more credit then we all give them.

Famous Skeiths

Several Skeiths in Neopia have made a name for themselves, despite the fact not many people like them. Here's a list of some of the Skeiths I could find. If you find more that on this list and know where to get an image and info of them then please Neomail me.

The Bank Teller
The Bank Teller Skeith is one of the most well known Skeith around. He manages the bank, keeping one's hard earned neopets safe from mutant Kadoties. He even lets you collect daily interest. Not only that but he manages Items for you in the Safety deposit box. He doesn't have a name, but nearly every Neopian sees him many times a day.

Bartleby This old retired pirate spends most of his days playing armada With a Kyrii.

Coin shopkeeper
This Skeith manages the Collectable coin shop

Edmund Father of Sophie, Reginald, and Bruno. He was a character in the Halloween plot 'Tales of Woe'. Edmund was the second character to drink the krawk's potion in hopes of solving his families troubles. He became a great business man and sold many houses until he Started to become suspicious of everyone. Eventually falling the same fate as everyone else in Neovia.

Goltamo
Goltamo battles his Level eight Frogarott, Gaston, in the petpet battledome

Gordos Gordos is a fair Tax collector who saved a city from ruined. It was once heavily taxed , the money used to just fill the greedy Governor's pockets. Instead of falling into bribery Gordos had the man arrested giving the wealth back to the town. He is now the Tax collector of Altador.
He played a part in the Neopet game "The Darkest Faerie" As Gord a traveling merchant.

Haskol
Haskol is Guard number 2 and the 8th Character you face(right before Master Vex) in the game Cellblock.Haskol wins most of the Cellblock games he plays, mainly due to the fact that whenever he loses he tends to throw a bit of a tantrum... So if you want to keep your arms intact, it is highly recommended to let this Skeith win!

King Skarl
King Skarl is the King of Meridell. Skarl is well known for his appetite and being grumpy. One can even go into his thrown room and tell him a joke, in hopes of getting him to smile. King Skarl lead Meridell through two wars against Darigan. But on a darker side, it was he who allowed his knights to take a magical Orb from Darigan's Kingdom.

King Hagan
Hagan rules the kingdom of Brightvale which Neighbors Meridell. Both kingdoms entirely different. Were as Meridell is simple and full of farmers, Brightvale is well know for it knowledged citizens. Humorously enough, Hagan is the sibling of Skarl. Some say however, his wishes to keep his kingdom intelligent is his ways of saying he's better then Skarl.

Malkus Vile
A evil Skeith who does just about anything if it means a great reward. Just like the Skeith info says about the species, he prefers to get more gullible neopets to the dirty work for him. He is known for Organizing a theft of King Coltzan's crown with the help of the meerca brothers.

Iron Skeith
I don't know to much about the Iron Skeith. I believe at one point he worked for the Defenders of Neopia, but now is a villain to the group of heroes. He doesn't appear much anywhere, just a book and in the advent calender one year.

Skeiths in History

Skeiths, unlike a few other Neopets, have always been just Skeiths. The only thing changing would be their art style. and why would they need to change really? They're perfectly fine the way they are. I looked around in hopes of finding some older Skeith pictures. So here they are; a trip back to the simpler days with our friends, the Skeiths.
