I am Molidor the faerie peophin, and recently my owner, Koryzio, gave my design a major revamp. :D For those of you who remember me from the BC a couple of years ago, you'll remember my design being quite different.

My petpage is still incomplete. As it has been for the past two years. XD I know, I know, Ko keeps changing it and remaking it instead of finishing off what it looks like at the time, but she keeps improving in her art skills and trashes the old stuff. I think I had like twenty art pieces of me on this page, but they were all trashed to make room for a fresh new page.

W00T! New layout too! :D This is the third layout Koryzio has made for me! Aw, I feel so loved! ^_^

Yes, I'm a storyteller. :) I love telling tales, both ones I've heard and ones I've made up, to young pets. I like to set a good example for them too. I am afraid of nothing, I can stand up to any injustice (even when my chances are slim) and I never say die! No, I'm not a do-gooder, some kind of superhero of Neopia, I simply hate to see young ones being bullied or in danger. Especially my brothers. I'm not necessarily the oldest in my family (2nd oldest in fact) but I am the most mature and the responsibility of making sure they are all kept safe always falls to me.

Likes
trekking : One of my favourite all-time things to do is to just wander across new lands and camp out. I can stay up on my hooves all day without getting tired and I'm used to travelling long distances.

calamari : There's this one addiction that both Koryzio and I share, and that is for calamari. Any kind at all, squid, octopus, cuttlefish! Crumbed or plain! Cooked or uncoo--- well, you get the point. ;) My other fave food is donuts! P: Mmmm...

youngsters : I love telling my stories to children. They are always so trusting and loving towards me. I would risk my life to protect one of these innocent little ones.

beating up bullies/tyrants : I always enjoy giving bullies a real good lecture, and occasionally a beating. I'm not aggressive by nature, but can fight well when I need to.

eating : If there's food around, I will eat it, regardless of how bad it might be for me. I love to eat anything I can get my teeth into, and am easily tempted by it. My friends tell me it's a surprise I'm still so thin after all the junk food I scoff.

Ezzie : My soreen has been with me ever since I came into this family. He's a really hyperactive little thing... I think he eats too much sugar.

Hates
disobedience : My younger brothers often get themselves into mischief, and though I don't mind a good prank, I hate it when they are disobedient. They always end up hurting themselves, and I hate seeing them hurt.

tyrants/bullies : Worst kind of injustice, tormenting innocent creatures, in my opinion. Especially tormenting youngsters, and the very old and sick. When I hear of helpless pets being harmed I want to shish kebab the villain on my horns! Grrrr! H8!

small enclosed spaces : Yeah, I know I said I wasn't afraid of anything... but, ha ha, I'm a claustrophobic. I hate little gaps, caves, closets. Nevertheless, I still go into them whenever I can. I must have faced this fear... or maybe it should be called more of a discomfort... at least a hundred times, but I still can't get over it.

school : I never have had any sort of education myself (aside from Ko teaching me to read, of course), but I still find it pointless for pets and humans alike to be made to stay in those boring old buildings all day... they should be learning more about the world(s) they live in by exploring them for themselves... you can't learn everything from books, no matter how many you read. And besides, the youngsters can't visit me and listen to my stories when they're in school. XD

art thieves : I EAT THEM! P: Mmmmm, they taste especially good with mulberries and cream!

Design
Some important points to remember about my design. These are the things that make me different from your average peophin.

head: I have a small and slender head and my helmet fits loosely. It isn't a very fancy piece of equipment either, just silver with a red stone set into the middle. I don't have normal horse ears, just the four-pronged ear flaps, as well as two upward-curling silver horns. Don't forget my short purple beard under my chin! As for my eyes, they're quite large, but my pupils can dilate from tiny cartoony dots to immense pools of aquamarine so I can see in the ocean's dark depths.

fur: My mane grows from my forehead to a short, scruffy mess of fur down my neck, which eventually finishes in a ring of fur covering my chest and belly. Further down my dorsal stripe is another patch of fur, a little shorter than my mane. My forelock is messy too and tends to spring forward in a spiky-looking fringe.

body: I'm much longer and more slender than most peophins. I am of the Erark-type (an Archodian species of marine-equine, see Ko's DA for more about Archodian species) which tend to live quite deep underwater for the majority of their lives and need to be thin and fast to survive down there.

markings: My tribe all mark themselves with the fluorescent bacteria found in firefly squid, and so we all sport a number of glowing patterns, each one different. These ones I always have help me to confuse prey and also any other member of my tribe can tell who I am from a distance away. The markings eventually wash off each month, so we need to continually repeat the process of painting on the bacteria.

wings: Dragonfly shaped and quite long and iridescent turquoise to azure in colour. I have two longer ones and two alternating shorter ones.

tail: Sort of shaped like that of a reef shark, and very large, with two smaller points under it that curl back.

Abilities
Flying : Unfortunately I'm not very good at this. My wings are fragile and I sometime accidentally tear or crease them. They always heal as good as new, but this takes a few weeks. I'm really too heavy to fly (despite how scrawny I look) and can only really fly on warm breezy days when I can ride the updraughts and warmer rising air currents.

Swimming : I am a fabulous swimmer (even if I do say say so myself XD) and like all deep-sea equines, have a remarkable agility in the water, no matter how cold. My long-distance top speed I've reached so far is 90 km/h. O_o And boy, did it take my breath away!

Art

These are all just the drawings of my new design. You can find some older pictures of me in Ko's art gallery (you can see the url under Koryzio's siggy on my page layout/background). Most of my older art has been lost for good sadly. :(

Not much of the stuff on Ko's DA is Neopet-related, but it's all of animals (mostly dragons and dinosaurs), so you'll find some pics of me here and there if you scour the gallery.

My Background Story
Well, originally I came not from any part of Neopia, but a different world. There were many creatures like myself living in the deepest depths of the sea, and we were called the "erarks".

I was a much respected member of my tribe, at least to my face, and had three younger brothers of my own, as well as loving parents.

However, many of the clan members believed I was a little round the twist, because of my tendency to wander off. I especially liked going up into the twilight zone, and even the shallows... much too often, they thought. Much more than was normal for an erark.

As a young colt, I first discovered my appetite for telling stories when I would come up with excuses for bad behaviour. I was just like any other young thing and often got into trouble. And, like most youngsters, always tried to squirm my way out of punishments by making up excuses. These could become quite interesting tales when my parents and the elders of the tribe let me talk long enough, and most of them were very "out of this world" if you'll excuse the -disallowed_word-DA account)
