Advertising at shop directories:
- Any you come across will list your shop with no cost.
Advertising with NB ads:
- -Notice
Board ads cost money, so to get the most out of your NB
ad, it is important for it to have the following qualities:
- 1. Professional looking graphics.
- 2. Pay enough that you are on either the first, second,
or third
page of ads. The max cost of ads is 4 mil NP, and
malls will pay that much to be listed first. But you don't
have to spend a fortune: if you look at the top of page
three, the price payed is more like 20k, sometimes a lot
lower (like 1k).
- 3. It'll move around as other ads go up and come down,
but you want to be at the top of the page if you can.
Advertising on the Shop Ads Board: (Link)
- -Free, but takes time if you are bumping your board
often.
-Worth it if your advertisement post is good. Good posts
have these qualities:
- 1) Brevity - Your text is to the point
- 2) Flair - You have smilies and symbols to
make it stand out and look good. On that note, sometimes
overdoing it with smilies does not look good, so use in
moderation.
- *Remember that using CAPS gives
the impression that you're shouting.

What are the benefits of having my shop listed at Oolong Shop Directory?
People can access your shop through the directory's organized categories.
Your shop will remain listed at this directory even if you don't restock or update your shop -- unless you remove the link back button (if I notice this, I will neomail you before taking your listing off).
If you do upgrade your shop frequently, your listing gets a little plus symbol next to it! This shows directory visitors that you put effort into your shop.
The link back buttons are compact and well-made, as to avoid cluttering up your shop description.
Your shop could be featured on the site and get even more traffic!
Should I let you know when I upgrade my shop at least three size, so I can get the cute little plus symbol next to my listing?
Yes! The only time I will check if you've upgraded your shop, is if your shop is newly listed (indicated by pink star) or if it already has a cute little plus symbol next to it. I no longer have time to check every shop in the directory regularly.
If I'm in a mall that doesn't allow shop directory buttons in my shop description, can I link back in my user look-up instead?
What if I want something about my listing changed?
Please neomail me and let me know what you would like to be changed. You do not need to let me know when you upgrade your shop because I check listing shop sizes now and then, but you can if you want (to get that plus symbol sooner).
