In his young years, Twi had a good life. Simply put, he had a close-knit family, and a pack only consisting of them.
His mother was the picture of beauty, as any dog could get. She was gentle and sweet, a maternal figure, and moved through her life with an amount of grace and ease and a good temperament.
Twi's father, however, was his ultimate idol in his puppyhood. His close friend and mentor, Twi hung on his every word and always tried to prove himself worth having him as a father. It was his father who taught him right and wrong, good and bad, and Twi still has those lifeskills in today's life.
As summer was blooming, a storm hit, striking a forest fire alight in their little packlands. Desperate to flee the fire, the pack escaped... But left 2 pups behind. When Twi's youngest sister, Flare, was trapped behind a curtain of fire, she perished, despite Twi's attempts to save her life.
Twi was later found by a firefighter who was scouting the burnt forest, a scared and thin looking puppy. He was passed into the hands of Cinder.
At the time, Cinder had a small but loyal family. Her oldest pet took in Twi as his son, and raised him into adolescents. As an adolescent, Twi was sweet-tempered, sensitive, and easily manipulated. It took a female called Shadow to pull him through those years to gain his leadership, and his temperamental and protective traits.
At that age, Shadow was everything young Twilight wasn't; She was tough, and even ill-tempered. Years into their first family, they evened eachother out, and Twi still carries many of those traits with him today.
Twi's life had changed for the better; he had his family and his pack to look after, and Twi could think of no better alternative he'd have rather had.
Their pups were healthy and spirited, and often got them into trouble. One fateful day, their youngest son wandered off, and Twi followed to find him, where he ran into a couple of demons. They attempted to destroy him, but instead released demon blood into him, and turned him into a half breed. Twi has a demon side, and is sometimes uncontrollable. His son was later found elsewhere.
In one of Twi's uncontrollable rages, he killed his son Granythe. Set on vengeance, Twi set out to track and kill as many demons as he could. When a high-powered Demon Lord heard of his name, he trapped and took Twi as his hostage.
One of the demon past times is the Demon Fight Rings, where low-class demons are set to fight eachother to death. Twi became their prize fighter, and moved up ranks, forced to fight or suffer the consequences...
Years later, his old friend Gunner heard of Twi, and rushed to his aide. Together, they broke out of the Demon District, and became partners of the Demon Bounty Hunter business.
However, by that point, Twi had lost contact with Shadow, and eventually returned to Cinder's household, where the family had grown. This was where he met Cowboy, the not-so-loveable Baby of the family, and the feud became almost instantaneous in a fight to win the title 'Cinder's favorite of the household'. The grudge remains today.
However, it wasn't long before Twi returned to the wild, though still visiting the house now and then. There, he met a pack, and Miyo, the alpha of Keriku. With Twi's help, they defeated her brother, which placed a sibling-like bond between them, and Twi even earned an alpha position through years.
Today, Twi comes and goes from the pack and from Cinder's house, making several friends and enemies along the way. He maintains his career, and is a well-respected and wise wolf.
Friends, Family
Cinder
Twi's caregiver and friend from Day 1 of Twi's Neopian Life. Regardless of what Cowboy (Or Twi, for that matter) may say, they share a close bond, and confide in one another in their toughest times, and support one another in their decisions.
Tyson
Tyson is Twi's little red anubis, and is one of the closest things to a little brother Twi has. Where the petpet may not speak much, Twi seems to understand him, and Tyson clearly understands everything Twi doesn't say. Though Tyson stays at the house with Cinder, he always waits for Twi's return home, and is rarely ever seen without Twi when he's in Neopia.
Cowboy
Cowboy and Twi are the epitamy of sibling rivalry, though both claim that they live in seperate houses, and are not in fact considered 'brothers'. Cowboy and Twi shared a feud since day one of Cowboy's homecoming, and are constantly bickering and fighting. Many are surprised that the house still stands with the turmoil they put the rest of the family though, though it's old news to the oldtimers of the house.
Flare
Flare is Twi's sister from a past life. Quiet and subtle, Twi takes well to her, and is very protective over her, due to the fact he couldn't when she passed away. The two share a strong bond.
Jae
Many have come to find that 'opposites attract', and that fact couldn't be more true for these two friends. Where Twi is massive, Jae is remarkably small, and Twi often runs the risk of stepping on her. Regardless, he took well to her upon meeting her.
Miyo
No two friends can be found that is closer than Miyo and Twi in the pack, even in her death. Miyo is the former alpha of the pack he is a part of, and the two act as sister and brother.
