INTRODUCTION

Hello, and welcome to the Doodlez Guild Roleplay Directory! :3 My name is Siobhan, and I run this page~

Only OPEN ROLEPLAYS are allowed here, so every 1st of the month I will be removing the entries to prevent false links and confusion.
If you want to stay listed on the page, you will have to renew each pet each month.
(You can do it either after I take them down, or a day or two before. I would actually prefer if you did it before, but either works.)

If you're finding yourself a little lost with the categories, here's some info on them! :D

Different character types

Quad: This is for pets who roleplay in their neopet/animal forms, meaning they walk on all four legs (or flippers.. or whatever they use).

Anthro: Also known as furries. This section is for pets who have a more human body, or walk on two legs and use hands like a human. They can have a more human face, or a more animal one, it can really vary.
They must have fur (or whatever their species has); if they're a person with a normal skin tone but neopet/animal ears, they don't go here!

Human: Many people will give their neopet completely human form, or mostly human (like a normal skin tone, but the neopet ears and tail for example). They must still be a neopet though; no stand alone characters!

World: Many people like to roleplay in Neopia, where technology like cars and cellphones don't yet exist. But some people like roleplaying with their pets in some place called the "Real World" or "Earth", in strange places such as New York, and they have odd things like cellphones, cars, and computers.
This isn't a category, but you'll find it listed with each pet. The options for this are Earth, Neopia, Mix (Neopia w/ real world things like cars), and Other (for worlds they make up; you will have to ask them for details). If you're listing your pet here, it'd be good to mention what part of the world of choice that you prefer roleplaying in.

Different writing types

First person: example: I wave my hands around like a maniac. "Hi everyone! This is first person!" I say. This is so much fun!

Third person: example: Fate jumps up and down cheerfully. "And this is third person!" She said, grinning cheerfully.

Literate: Literate roleplays are much like reading (and writing) a book. They will often require several paragraphs per reply, and proper spelling and grammar is stressed. This is for super serious people and writers.

Semi-Literate: Much more relaxed than Literate roleplays, you often don't need to be perfect with your replies. HOWEVER, many people prefer if you can compose a sentence properly, and have atleast 3-5 sentences in a reply.

Chatplay: Also known as pet chats. They are really simple, and are more like scripting for a movie or play rather than writing. They basically go like this:

Fate: Hi there~! How's your day going? *waves*
Cherry: Hi. *waves back* Alright, I guess.
Fate: Yay, that's good!

Epics: These are for people who want to create a huge story, world, and characters with somebody specific, rather than create a character then find somebody to RP with. These tend to be rather literate, and the stories aren't usually easy to use with other people. Rather than listing pets, we list users willing to do this here.
It's up to you and the other roleplayer to decide on any details.

Other terms

If you're new to roleplaying, you might get confused with these terms, so I'll list just in case~

RP: Stands for Role Play.

OOC: Stands for Out Of Character. You can use it when YOU (and not your character) needs to say something, though people will also use it when a character isn't acting like they normally do.

BIC: Stands for Back Into Character, for when you're done with the OOC.

Power moding: Neopets-friendly word for it. This is for characters who ALWAYS win, never get hurt, are all powerful and can always beat the person, and are pretty perfect at everything. Many people don't allow it (as it ruins ALL the fun of roleplaying), and neither do we.

RULES

There are some rules to read; if you want to be added to this page you must read them. It's a good idea to read them if you want to use this to find somebody to RP with, too.

- When roleplaying, using the site and/or guild, follow the Neopets Terms, Chat Rules, and the Doodlez Guild Rules. We don't want anybody getting in trouble now, do we? :(
- Your roleplay must be OPEN to be listed here.
- No power-moding
- You must be in the guild for atleast # weeks before you can put any listings up.
- People have the right to say no to a roleplay if they don't want to do it, so don't fight them.
- No purely human characters (except you do it on your own for epics). If they have a human form, they must have a neopet for a base.
- When you send me the neomail with your listings, type in "quill" so I know you read these rules! ;D
- Though we have rules here, chances are the person you want to roleplay with have their OWN set of rules for you to follow, so be sure to read them and follow them before you ask them to RP with you.

Your account: The one you want to be contacted on and will respond to.
Your name: Doesn't have to be your real name, just a nickname. You don't want to be called guest, do you?

Character---
Full name: Their FULL neopet name, so I can link to them.
Nickname: If they have a nickname (like I call Fate777888 Fate), or a roleplay name (like my sister has a pet named Renneviere, but she calls her Renee "Revi" Vier)
Species: (Neopet species. If your pet is a lab pet and their character changes species often, just put other)
Gender: Male/Female/Other
Roleplay Categories: View them on the introduction page to decide which to submit to. You should submit atleast one character type and one roleplay type, but feel free to add more.)
World: Real world, Neopia, Mix (Neopia w/ RW qualities), and Other (made-up worlds)
Pet personality: Just a couple traits your pet has, nothing too extreme. Do not use this for their appearance.
Petpage?: If you have a page dedicated to your pet's character and story, link to it here. It can either be a petpage or petlookup.

If you are submitting more than one pet, please put the forms on a petpage/userlookup/something with some basic HTML (like the P's and Br's) then link it to me. :3
