June 14, 1971
Today is a cheerful day in Auraquatei, as usual! 8D
Even though Auraquatei is underwater, but you can see the sun out there, and predict it by looking at its brightness. The citizens are doing fine (they even gave me an Aquaflower as a gift! How nice~), plus I managed to listen to old Aqudion's usual ramblings. According to him, tomorrow is the Poopaplant Harvesting Festival, so there's more reasons to get happy! Eeeeee I was totally excited~ 8D
Illuyia will be there tomorrow~ As she's the most important person in Auraquatei. Her dad will come over as well. He's pretty friendly, I don't like him very much, though. :/


June 15, 1971
This is it, the Poopaplant Harvesting Festival!
Although the Poopaplants sounds pretty hilarious, but they are actually a rare plant that grows in Auraquatei. Our citizens managed to find out the planting method, thus the day was created! c:
The Poopaplants are pretty good for medical healing, especially when they're sweet enough for kids who don't like bitter meds, which includes me, yeah :|

The Festival was successful, as usual! 8D
Illuyia hosted the festival, by throwing powdered crystals to the water, meaning of the opening of the Harvest Festival, and wow, this year we have double the supply of the Poopaplants! Everyone were thrilled, but I can't say the same thing with Illuyia's dad.
He looked...unpleased. I wonder why...?


June 21, 1971
Today, my dad told me about the Auraquatei Keeper Ceremony.
The basic skills of an Auraquatei Keeper are courage, intelligence, as well as responsibility.
It's weird, unlike other countries, we have Keepers instead of kings and queens. And the Keeper works as both...I think it's pretty tiring ._.

Anyway, in a few weeks, we'll be preparing for the ceremony, so I have to get better, and matured. Plus, I'm the only child in the Midorya family, so yeah...the next Keeper candidate is definitely me.
For some reason, I had a bad feeling about this. I told Aqudion about my doubts, he just snorted at me and told me I'm just too nervous. :(


June 28, 1971
I had to help out the citizens to decorate the Great Hall for the Keeper Ceremony. Some of them were ill, so my dad wanted me to help them.
The citizens are soooooo nice, they kept telling me I don't have to help them, as they can finish the decorating themselves D8
Of course, as a Keeper-soon-to-be, I have to be responsible anyway, so I still helped them out c:

I had to change the curtains of the Great Hall, so I went to the back of the hall. There's a room with different styles of curtains.
I swear I saw Illuyia's dad sneaking around at the back of the Great Hall. I saw him, but he didn't find me there.
My instinct told me to keep quiet, so I sealed my lips about this, including old Aqudion as well.


July 2, 1971
Tommorow is the day of the Auraquatei Keeper Ceremony, Dad is lecturing his advices and experiences all over me. I'm nervous. :c
I planted a Coralilly today. Illuyia gave me the seeds when we were little. It's nice to see the Coralilly slowly grows its shoots.
Hopefully everything goes well tomorrow.


July 3, 1971
Oh dear, here comes the ceremony.
I was shaking all over before it started, and Aqudion kept telling me to be calm.
Really, won't you get nervous when millions of people looking at you, and you have to get over the staring eyes and walk towards the stage without a sign of cowardly on your face?

In the end, I didn't make a fool out of myself. Instead, I have the sudden courage to get off the stairs and receive the Keeper band from my dad.
You have grown, my child.'' he told me as he tied the band on me.
Should I be happy? I don't even know.
Today, Aqudion said I'm getting a bit matured, I wonder what made him said that.

July 4, 1971
First day being a /real/ Auraquatei Keeper. It feels...weird.
When I walked around at the day market as usual, unlike the usual's chatter and bundles of cheer, all the citizens bowed at the moment they saw me o_o;
Aqudion told me I have to get used to that, but I don't like the feeling :c

Dad has retired from his Keeper job, and when I asked him more about this Keeper stuff, he told me to discover all the stuff by myself. What a great help.
I visited Illuyia, strangely, her dad wasn't at home.
Illuyia gave me various ways to get over the oddity on me, she even brought me outside to help me get used with the situation, and I only managed to bear the bows of the citizens.
You got a long, long way to go, young 'un.'' Aqudion snickered at me, when I got back from Illuyia's house.
Good point, old dude.


July 15, 1971
...hmm, a Keeper's job is pretty nice, after all.
Despite, I have to face all kinds of complaints and discussions from the council and the citizens almost every day, patrolling is actually a poetic way to make yourself feel amazing xD
Not much entry for today, Aqudion is having a problem comparing the physical quality of a Golden Poopaplant and a Yellow Poopaplant.

Wow, it's been a while since I last updated this diary.
Life is getting pretty busy, and I think I have a few government stuff about Auraquatei in my head...for some bit xD
Getting over the Keeper-phobia, and will continue gaining self-experience :)
Oh my, more complaints from the citizens are on the way, shall stop here for now!
