i. Minu's real legit birthday (her creation) according to SN is April 23rd, even though I originally gave her the birthday of February 29th. The owner adopted her out on April 20th to me and she entered the BC on her birthday. I didn't realize this until many months later :P
ii. Minu's original character was some random mute girl who fell from the sky. Ouch. You can see she's come a long way to what she is now xD.
iii. Her petpage layout changed about 4 times before the final one was submitted and used. This page layout marks change #5.
iv. Even though I knew Usagi meant bunny, I didn't realize it was in Minu's name until weeks after I started my application T_T. /dyslexic
v. As you can see from some old images, Minu's original hair colour was brown with a random orange streak. I'm not sure what I was thinking, but it's not like pink is any more normal.

Brief Intro: In the world of Evalain, every newborn is blessed with one gift from The Gifters, and these gifts stay with you for the rest of your life. The gifts can be classified into four categories: Leadership & Strength, Beauty, Talent, and Emotions. The gifts that are given to children are supposed to only be 'good'.

Minu's Case: Minu was blessed with the gift of physical beauty. However, a dark Gifter, who was trying to get another Gifter in trouble, also gave Minu the gift of revenge. The dark Gifter was caught, and, as punishment, was sentenced to spend the rest of their immortal life accompanying Minu and to help influence her towards the better good until her death.
This dark Gifter was named Luna, who must spend the rest of her life beside Minu in the form of a petpet (a Faerie Kazeriu).
When with those that she actually likes (family and anyone who she calls 'friend') Minu will act like herself. Those close to her are aware of her being a bit spoiled and always wanting things to go her way, but they don't always allow her to get away with it.
Minu is rather vain, as she cares a lot about her looks since to her, her beauty is like currency.
Often, Minu doesn't think things through and acts on a whim. Often this gets her in trouble. In these cases, Minu heavily relies on her sisters (primarily Aj) as well as her swift feet to get her away. She has been caught a few times, but they never manage to retain her for long.
Aj (Minu's sister) never gets tired of rescuing Minu because this means she gets to cause destruction.
Belief: Minu feels that in this world, 'survival of the fittest' is what matters most. If she must steal and cheat and lie to get what she wants, then that's what she's going to do. She does not care for who gets hurt in her way nor does she care for other people's feelings except for her own.
Though she may pretend to act like the world revolves around her, she does have some feelings for those close to her. Contradictory to the previous paragraph, she does care for her sisters a lot, even if they sometimes have different opinions.
2.Though she is the master of manipulation, there are times when she might be fooled. In cases like these, the curse of revenge that she was gifted with comes in. Blinded by thoughts of revenge, she may not think of the consequences that come when she seeks retribution and often creates more trouble for herself.
3.Minu is also very judgmental. She secretly looks down on everyone who is on a completely different level than herself. She also looks down on idealists, because she truly believes this world is not perfect, and that striving for perfection is a pointless hassle. Emotions such as happiness, love, and whatever else are irrelevant to her, because the only 'happiness' she knows is gaining materialistic things.
4. Whatever valuables she manages to obtain through illegal actions she tends to either lose or sell and then immediately spend the profits. This is because Minu dislikes being classified as 'rich', and tries to get rid of her assets immediately upon obtaining them. The few trinkets that she does keep are often useless items. Because of this, when she is in desperate need of money – she doesn't have it.
Luna was originally a Gifter (a magical being that grants gifts to newborn children). Some point in her life, she became a Dark Gifter – one who gives sins instead of 'good' gifts. She wanted to take revenge upon another Gifter by getting them in trouble, so she gifted Minu with the gift of vengefulness in hopes of framing the other Gifter.
Unsuccessful, Luna was punished to be by Minu's side for the rest of Minu's life. Her punishment includes teaching Minu to do good for the world instead of bad. She is not allowed to harm Minu in any way, directly or indirectly, nor is she allowed to give Minu misfortunes or bad advice on purpose, or else Luna will receive the sentence of death from the Gifters.
With Minu, Luna takes on the form of a Faerie Kazeriu (a floating dragon-like petpet with wings). Though she has a magical skills, her magic is limited to small tricks.
Because Luna is not your average petpet, she has the ability of speech with Minu. However, with anyone else, Luna remains silent.
There is a central star that provides light. Floating around it are six colourful lands connected by space rivers which establish connection between the lands.
Divisions: The world was divided into the six main colours of Evalain – City of Amber, the City of Jade, Rouge City, City of Snow, the Azure Mountains, and the City of Violet [click map for a picture]
Energy: Each continent possessed a special stone that radiated colour throughout the lands, hence giving the lands their colourful appearance. These stones were the base of life and were heavily protected by the people of Evalain. Eventually, the main cities were built around these fascinating stones. These stones used people's emotions of happiness as energy and in return they fed the lands colour and life.
Rivers: The stones also fed the space rivers energy, which is what keeps them strong and able to connect between lands within space. Each land is connected to two of the closest lands, and between two lands flow two rivers (one in each direction). These rivers contained pure water for the living to drink and live off of. How they worked was that one flowed in one direction, then connected to a central pool in the other land and flowed back in the opposite direction, creating an endless cycle. This was a big method of transportation.
The only land that is not connected by the space rivers is the City of Snow, which is the closest to the central star. There is no life known on the City of Snow.
Poisoned (The Secret): The Leaders of the City of Violet, being the biggest continent and the most powerful, became greedy. They wanted to take over the other remaining lands, and came up with the idea of using the shared rivers to poison the other cities.
The Leaders (those that ruled the City of Violet) poisoned the rivers that travelled in the direction away from them. The substance poisoned the other lands and stopped all form of life. The poison then spread throughout the lands with the help of the stones' energy and poisoned those rivers connected to other lands – a chain reaction that eventually wiped out the other cities.
The City of Violet, knowing that the poison would eventually cycle back to them, blocked the rivers flowing in with barriers. The Leaders did not foresee the consequences of poisoning the waters and killing the rest of the lands, and soon, people of the City of violet began dying as well. This whole thing was a secret operation formulated by the Leaders – the people had no idea.
World's End: Water supply was getting short, and the Leaders refused to admit anything. Soon, magical beings entered the world in attempt to save it in the name of Evalain. They used the City of Violet's stone – the Violet Stone, to purify the poisoned waters. Afterwards, these beings gifted each person one gift that was classified into four categories:
Leadership and strength – to lead society forward and to support society
Beauty – to help society learn to coexist with other people and nature (because nature is the most beautiful thing)
Talents – to help build society upwards
Emotions – to keep society together and content, so that the stone can feed off of good energy and continue to purify the lands again.
Today: These mysterious beings called themselves Gifters who will forever help the citizens of Evalain rebuild what the Goddess Evalain made for them. Gifters will continue to bless newborns with one gift each until the world is right again.
The Leaders erased all plans and deny having anything to do with almost ending all life. The few who knew what the real truth was passed down the stories, which eventually formed 'The Underground' society.
Currently, the City of Violet remains the only city with life. Every other continent is remains lifeless because the stones are the only way one can purify those lands. Without energy to feed off of, those stones remain useless and the lands remain lifeless. It will take hundreds of years to find each stone, and many more centuries to rebuild Evalain's initial population and restore the energy of the special stones.
City of Violet: The last continent with known survivors. It is also the biggest city and has one moon.
Azure Mountains: The mountains here were known for a bright, blue, glowing substance that trickled down the mountains and into the rivers. The substance is harmless and was often used for decoration at nighttime. From space, the mountains glow. This continent has 2 moons.
City of Jade: Known for their lush forests of green nature and fertile soil. Was also known for many exotic fruits and vegetables. The City of Jade has no moons at all.
Rouge City: Was known for their deep valleys where many mineral deposits can be found. Rouge City was also the primary metal source for the world of Evalain. Rouge City has a moon that sparkles when light shines on it.
City of Amber: The people here were known to dress in bright vibrant colours that resembled gold. The City of Amber was the number one source for gold and the majority of gold mines bordered Rouge City. The City of Amber also has 4 moons – a central one with 3 that revolve it.
City of Snow: Contains no known source of light whatsoever. It is not connected to any other city by a river, hence no one knows what is on there. The City of snow does not have a moon.
The City of Violet
There are four main divisions to the City of Violet:
Gold: located in the middle of the continent. Includes the royal palace (where the violet stone lives). This is the richest part of the continent.
Silver: Just like a 'middle class', the silver area surrounds the gold.
Bronze: The less-developed areas that surround the silver at the continent's borders.
The Underground: A secret society scattered across all three areas who's members work on restoring what the Leaders have damaged. People who are part of this society are the only ones that know what the Leaders have done – hence their defiance to the system. They believe the Leaders have too much power.
Leadership and strength – People with these gifts tend to live in the gold of the City of Violet and rule over the whole continent, forcing rules on others. They are known as Leaders and tend to dress in gold to show their place (royalty dresses in purple and gold).
Of course, it would be unfair to assume that all classified "leaders" are snobby. Some do possess strength, such as inner strength or physical strength, and some try to lead others towards a better lifestyle.

Beauty – Known as 'Beauties'. They have long forgotten the reasons for their gifts. Originally, their gifts were meant for them to help society coincide with nature, therefore those who are able to interact with plants and animals are in this category, as well as those who possess outer beauty, inner beauty, possess beautiful thoughts and words (artists), etc. Beauties often live in the gold as well, but some may reside in silver.
Minu is in this category, however, she resides in the Bronze part of the city instead out of choice so that she can live freely with her sisters.
**Artists can also be classified as 'Talents', but those who refer to nature (such as artists that draw landscapes) are in the beauty category instead.

Talents – People are called 'Talents' if they have a talent gift. A very broad category, but the majority of talents often live in the silver unless their gift is useless. Gifts can range from anything from musical talent to the ability to persuade people. Aj, one of Minu's sisters, is classified in this category as she has a talent to play with fire.

Emotions – People with these gifts are called 'specials'. Society feels they have no real purpose and are seen as useless, hence these people are often rejected and must survive in the bronze of the City of Violet. Some gifts include being able to manipulate emotions to sensing the emotions around you or in others.
Aro, Minu's younger sister, is in this category. She has the ability to manipulate what you are feeling, which can lead to either good or bad things happening.
