History
Kyle was born as the second child in his family. His parents and older sister the only living relitaves he had. Because of that and a few other reasons he bairly ever say others, and met others even less. When he was still a very small child he commonly witnessed his parents beating his sister, sometimes very baddly. But he had grown up with it, he didn't really know his parents wern't allowed to do that.At about the age of five his parents started hurting him as well, and soon enough had greatly damaged his vocal cords because of it. He never really talked much before that to scared that he would say something wrong, but, after his voice was damaged, it was also painful for him to talk.
After Kim was hurt by their parents he was always go to her to help make her feel better, and once he started getting hurt, Kim would often let him cry on her sholder, she had already known what he was going through and wanted her brother to go through as little as possible. She sometimes would even take a worse beating so Kyle wouldn't be touched.
They lived in a small house at the FireClan's volcano in Valhalla, and the smallest room in that house was Kim and Kyles, they actually didn't have much of a room, and commonly had to sleep on the ground, all the furnature that had in their parents room or in a different place then theirs. They also didn't get a lot of food, being told they wheren't deserving of food and commonly went to bed hungry.
Back then Kyle was the only one to ever accept his sister. You see, she was blind and had been since she was 4 after getting very sick. She had trained herself to get around it so it was hard to notice she was blind and not many knew. Kyle didn't care if his sister was blind and promised to keep the secret and often called what she could do 'cool'.
Kim was soon sent to be in a flight when Kyle was 7 and after she left he got beaten a lot more then before, with his parents not having Kim to vent their anger on. Then one day when his mother and him laft for a while something happened. He had no idea what but his father came to find them and said they couldn't go back to the house, Him and Kyles mother had been banished from the volcano.
They lived on the streets for a while, any food they found going to the parents and nothing to Kyle until a day in Valhalla when it was raining and they needed to find a place to get out of the rain, and coming to meet the Uni Godot. It didn't take long for Godot to notice something was wrong and after tempting with soup, and making both parents sick with the soup he got Kyle away from his parents and into safe hands.
Soon after he met a Xweetok named Truth and learned she was in Kim's flight and was told that Kim was doing ood and had actually saved Truth's life once. They asked Kyle if he would like to see his sister saying he couldn't go to the forest but he could still see her. Kyle agreed and the next day went with Godot to where some other members of the flight where going back to Neopia that day. He met Iterien there, a FireClan Valkyrie, and also the one who banished Kyles parents from the volcano. She had been searching for Kyle for a while now and was suprised to see him there and said that she would take Kyle to find him a good FireClan home.
Hearing all this talk about going into another home Kyle paniced, to him home was a place where he would just get hurt and ran off, quickly being followed by the three. After some convincing from Truth Kyle stoped running and struggling to get away, insted just crying on Truth, she was the first one, after Kim, that he was begining to feel safe around. They then went to the hospital, Teri leaving to go and get Kim and bring her there and Truth getting her ankle, which she had baddly sprained fixed. At that time Rodzy, the doctor healing Truth, also healed Kyle's voice so it no longer hurt to talk, but it would still be quite a while before he would get use to, and feel safe to, talk.
He learned from Teri, who had just come back, that Kim had been attacked by someone and was getting tended to in a different room. When they went to see her Kyle's first reaction was he ran over to Kim and hugged her tightly, much to Kim's suprise of finding him there then a moment later hearing him talk. Truth and Kyle then left though to give Kim time to rest and they went back to Godot's house.
Others
Kyle grew up only knowing his parents and sister, he doesn't know what the word friend it, he just sees them as others he has met and nothing more then that.Vykim- Kyle's older sister. She is the one that Kyle is most open to, mostly because she had been through mostly everything he has and worse. She can be quite quiet and tends to hide her emotions to everyone but Kyle. Though it seems she is slowly starting to open up, but right now Kyle is the only one who notices that.
Godot- The uni who got Kyle away from his parents. He seems to be quite calm and hide a lot of things to everyone. He seems to understand Kyle a lot though and is quite patient with the kit.
Truth- A Xweetok Kyle met thanks to Godot. He was quite scared of her at first, as he is with everyone, but she has started to help Kyle open up. She has a relaxing effect of Kyle and she is the only one he will get close to or let them get close to him besides his sister.
Iterien- Another Xweetok that Kyle just met not to long ago. He is scared of her still but not as baddly as someone he just met. He seems to trust her just a little, because she saved his sisters life.
Confusion
Unlike most kits, or anyone for that matter, Kyle doesn't know a lot of basic things because he never grew up with them. Things like friends are non exictent to him and many other things he had heared others say to him latly. Things like...Family, and Home- To him these things are his biggest fear, a family is those who hurt him and a home is where you get hurt. When someone talks about these things and seems happy it greatly confuses him.
Love, Happyness, Fun, Friends- These are all new words to him and right now hearing them just confuses him. They are things that will be hard for him to understand for quite some time because he was taught completly opposite from these things.
Kyle never smiles, in his life he had only smiled a very small amount, and in the last 4 years, he has smiled twice, both because of Truth and his sister. Even if you ever see him smile it only lasts for a second and normally is covered back in fear before you can notice it. He has never once laughed since he was a baby, and that ended at the age of one and doesn't even remember how to laugh, the sound of it makes him question where it comes from and why it does come out.
