![]() You sigh unhappily, looking around at the unfamiliar surroundings, hoping to find a sign or something of the like. Nothing but rugged coastline and sand. How had you managed to get so far from Neopia Central? Your eyes suddenly lock onto something that doesn't quite fit into the scene. You blink, slowly advancing forward to see what it is. Leaning against a rock is the smooth form of an obviously feline creature. Her ears are gently sloped against her coppery hair and her fluffy tail is wrapped lightly around her. She looks to be a wocky. Her closed eyes slowly open, revealing olive green eyes that glow in the night. She turns her head to you, blinking a few times. "Er, hello. You return her greeting. Aah." She stretches, accenting her feline figure. "I must've dozed off here..." You take in her unfamiliar accent, curious as to where she picked it up. Well, I'll... just be going then." She stands, shaking the sand from her attire and walking away from you. Ah, wait!" You call. The wocky turns, looking over her shoulder toward you. Yes? Do you need something... um...? Call me guest. And yes, please. I'm kind of... lost. She stares back for a little while, smiling slightly. You're in Neopia Central, of course." She wanders back over to the rock, taking a seat there. "Well, sort of. You frown. "But where? I just want to get home... You're on the border right now. This is the coastline. A little farther down is the river that leads into Kiko Lake. But if you turn around and go back down that path, you'll end up in the Market Square of the Central. I assume you can navigate your way from there? You grin. "Yes, thank you miss! Call me Millicent." The wocky closes her eyes happily. "Is that all? Yeah," you pause. "but, um, would you mind telling me what kind of accent you have? The wocky tilts her head slightly. "My... accent?" She smiles after a moment. "Heh, sure." Well anyway." She starts, making herself comfortable on the rock. "I'm not exactly someone who likes to stay in one spot for very long. Makes me go crazy. I like to travel from place to place. She grins lightly. "There's always going to be somewhere new to go, or something interesting to see. You could say I'm a... traveller I guess. I used to live near the sou- er... She shakes her head, looking down to the sand. "The central area of Mystery Island. I've moved quite a few times before I got here. I suppose that's where my accent's from. It's all... mingled from just about everywhere. Milly leans back, sighing to herself. "There's something about this place though. I just can't bring myself to leave. I've stayed here way longer than anywhere else. Maybe it's the closeness to my friends that's keeping me here." She chuckles lightly and closes her eyes. "Well, I really like it here anyway. It's... special. You stare for a moment, wondering what caused her to stutter in retelling where she lived. "That's pretty neat. I'd love to travel... Eh, it was fun. You nod. "What made you decide to start travelling in the first place? For a moment the wocky's eyes almost seem sad. It passes so quickly you decide you must've imagined it. "Well, a combination of things, really. It was kind of a dream of mine, to see all of Neopia." She pauses. "Now is that all you wanted to know? Actually... would you mind telling me a bit more? She blinks. "About... what? You shrug. "You? What your life was like? Milly looks away for a moment, thinking for a bit. "Ah, why not..." I will recollect what I do remember, though... -to be written- Age: 48581 hours Level: 9 Strength: 11 Speed: 15 Defence: 9 Endurance: 13 Intelligence: 27 ![]() Oh! This is Sersi. I found him, or rather, he found me." She says with a grin. "He just started following me one day, and wouldn't leave me alone. I decided, since he wouldn't leave no matter what I did, that it would be nicer travelling with some company anyway. So I kept him. You pat Sersi on the head softly. "How'd he get his name?" You ask. Milly blinks. "Well, it was written on the umbrella he was carrying around when I found him, so I called him that, and it kinda... stuck." She says. You bend down, looking into the little rodent's face. "His third eye is a different colour. Strange, ne?" The wocky smiles. "I think the violet contrasts with the yellow nicely..." Well, I suppose you'll want to know about my family, hmmm?" She smiles fondly, crossing her legs.
Milly also looks up. "Aah, I better get going now!" She chuckles. "Well, it was nice meeting you guest. Maybe we'll meet up again some other time! Well, if you want to remember this short meeting, here's a little something for you to have. If you have a wocky page, Kittie will happily trade links! ![]() ![]() | ||||
