Hello,
I see your reading my book here. Or, actually, I can't actually see you,
because I'm probably not in the room, but you understand what I mean. I wrote this
thing so people can learn more about me. I hate talking to strangers.
Basically I'm shy. So, this was the best way to get this done.
You're standing in my lighthouse home, attached the Clan Boarding House. It isn't
in use anymore, but it is interesting. I have thousands of books in here, and more
fancy clothing that I have chests to story them in, I apologize for the mess.
Assuming the this place is messy. Who knows, I might have just cleaned it....
Alright, I am off the needed subject.
About me. My name is Mia Shanno. And, um, technickally -I mean technically-
I'm a Red Ixi. But eventually I'm going to be a Rainbow Korbat. Why bother
spending the NP when I'm going to be labbed first? Anyways, I'll just pretend I'm
one for now. Pretending is something I excell at.
What else about me? I love to read (as you can probably see by the books
surrounding you). I also like to think up stories, sometimes I write them, but
most of the time they stay in my head. Other times I act them out. Play games, and
dress up to go with. Yes, I love to play dress up. I'm a little old for it...but I
love to. That's all that needs to be said. You've already learned that I'm shy....
Um, I can't really think of what else to say. So, here's this neat little

shortened version of her real name. Melz enjoys to draw, read and write. She

Full name: Herb the Drummer. My second 'parent'. But don't go report them
because Herb is an imaginary friend. He is not a real person. He's suppose
to be in charge of all the computer stuff (like making this page for me). He's got
'his' account of which he is rather proud.

Full name: PepitaLP. She's from the far side of Kreludor, a colony called Baiziei, it's constantly in a state of rebellion and war. She's short, a tinker, has a million gadgets, and wears the strangest clothes.
~My History~
Ha, that's a good one! I have no real 'story'. I have with no secret past or poor
dying mother. I am most probably a created-born, and those are very rare among the
developed. I don't know where I came from, I was a wondering child before I came
to Melz and Herb. More about my history is
actually listingin the first entry of my Journal below.
But I have feeling that some hard times are coming up for our clan, so there just
might be something to put up here, not my story, but all of ours.

Hello? A new journal, for me? Hurrah! I suppose I'll make a quick memoir here, all
for historic value, of course.
~ Before I was a Street Urchin of sorts, a child rogue with a love of odd
clothing, books and candles.
~ Things started looking up when I was given lodging in Melz and
Herbs home, I was their second take-in.
~ Aree came first, he's a special case, with his medical
difficulties.
~ Then there was Tobili, numeral three. Tobi kept, and keeps,
mostly to himself.
~ The C.L.A.N. Boarding House plans put into motion, but not completed as of
yet.
~ Dabria is the first 'Boarder', proud and beautiful, she still
finds it hard to fit in
~ The Boarding House bought! Complete with super-uber cool , I mean, spectacular,
rooms. Given to me was the Lighthouse portion, complete with built-in
library. |
That's mostly up to now. Now and the new rumor; Aree has been
spreading it, he says that Melz told him about a new boarder, or
possibly. She or he is coming, how know when. I'm rather intrigued.
Other news is my totally awesome growing Pictures. They're
gorgeous!

Oh, oh! I have begun to make candles available to the public! I've always made
candles, especially for Aree. They're special ones that glow
blue, so it can look cool in his cave, like water. Anyways, I stray.
The four basic colors are available to you all, as well as the opportunity to
request we make you a specially design candle to match your pet's character. I
already have special ones for my siblings and I, you could be next! You can find them here.

 I am currently in the BC! As the Albino Ixi! Because wanted so much to be
in the Beauty Contest, and I can't because according to neopets, I'm not really a
korbat, but a Ixi. So, I'm entering as an Ixi. Vote please?

 It all started with Aree getting sick. It was the type that's slow, and we could all see it coming. He says those type are the most annoying, And the most 'messed-up-ing', to quote. When it's more psychological then physical. I would say the mixture would be worse, but he said that when his head is all messed up, and his legs aren't, he can cause more damage. Like this time.
We knew he hit peak we couldn't find him. Everyone else went out to find him, and I'm here, all alone.

If there was a long word for 'terrified completely beyond measure,' I could probably justify using it right now.
It started with me checking all the locks and deciding to lock myself in my lighthouse. Seriously, you just can't live in this house by yourself, it's too immense. I was closing the shutters on my windows in my room when I saw it.
Alright, if you saw that, you might think its a little weird, but not terrifying. For goodness sakes, this is Neopia, there are plenty of weird things. Yet, I'm home alone, and this one landed on our front lawn.
And then it knocked on our front door. I'm really, thoroughly scared, and I really do not know what to do, but hole myself in my lighthouse.

So, you, whoever you are, are probably going to think this is somewhat humorous. Well, it is. Melz, Herb, Tobi, Aree and Dabria came back today. And they meet the thing on the waiting on the porch. Turns out, it was the new boarder that Aree has been spreading rumors about.
Her name is Pepita La Pew, or PepitaLP, and she's a skunk kyrii, from Kruledor. She shorter than me, older than me, wears totally weird multicolored clothing, has a million gadgets (including mechanical wings, which I saw), and a pair of the biggest, blackest, most adorable eyes. And she talks really cute.

Well, life has been pretty boring around here, Melz has been bust with The Clan Publication and the plot. You know I tries to volunteer to help that yurble guy, but he just wouldn't hear of it. Hmm, book reading talnet yet again wasted. Signing out, Shanna.

~My Origins~
The excedingly boring record of how I came to have my name and looks. You don't
have to read it, but it's fun for me anyways. ((All characters mention here are of
Melz's creation, no copying going on by her or others!))
The nounmi (pronounced 'my') comes from the root word meaning of royal
birth, mi actually means closer to 'princess', a female royal, but non-ruler. From
it comes my 'Mia'.Shanno means fire, I'm not sure what its root are though,
ask Melz, she probably knows.
My nickname, Shanna, was 'stolen' from another character of Melz's, a
singer, for a traditional weather troupe. She can also tell amazing stories.
Although I received her name, I am nothing like this Shanna, she is entirely
closer to Dabi. But Shanna is not very talkative; maybe I get some of that from
her. Shanna was in love with Jonath, and friends with Vann. Isn't it funny that
Tobi is an odd mix of the two? Throw in a little Forgiven and it's perfect.
My braids I get from the Traveler, Lariel, called Blaze, Warrior of the
Flame. So, I guess we have fire in common. Although a lot of other characters have
braids (it's something special), but it's a Lanoli things, so most of the
desendants have it. Blaze is the only other one with two, framing her face, like
me.
My origins on neopets are rather simple, I was going to be called Shanno
Mia (meaning 'fire princess' as appose to 'princess fire') but that was already
taken. I was originally a Red Ixi (I guess I still am technically), Melz was
planning on me being a White, but that never happened. She found that the way she
liked to design Ixi's didn't work out for my character, so I get to be a Korbat,
which is just perfect!
My origins story wise? Well, I'm created-born. Meaning that, I have no
parents and was created on neopets using the create-a-pet. So, I have no history,
which is quite all right with me, most of the time. Created-borns are rare among
the developed pets, so I'm pretty proud to be one.
~Candles~
Yes, I like to make candles, and you can have one, if you like. Simple copy the
text in the below your favorite and put it anywhere on Neopets that you want! I
have some plain colors here now, soon I will start producing other colors, and
also, below I have some special ones, made for special pets.
As far as regulations go, just think. You didn't make them, follow Neopets rules
about using other people's art. Other than that, I require you to always link
back to me.
