A she wolf; born with no tongue
Watching others whom she could not live among

How she longed to share their joy
But all her silence could do was annoy
Scorned she was; pleading for an answer to cure her curse
Only to be burdened with something worse

To speak with a voice of an angel; to tell of her plight
But in turn she is to forever seek the elusive light

Running as a servant to a higher cause
Never given time rest to her weary paws
Thankful for that bestowed to her; never deterred
