Gender Biologically female.

appearance Troll.
About seven or height heads tall with spindly and unnaturally long limbs. The muscles and bones are deceptive. Even if she looks as though she is missing those muscles, they are there. She is quite strong, though not impossibly, and much more durable than your average humanoid. Her feet and hands are larger than one would expect.
Orange-red hair, clumped and thick and fur-like. It extends down the back of her neck and grows from her shoulders like natural shoulder pads. Growth tapers off slowly down the length of her spine to about mid-back. The hair begins to grow again in the middle of her shin then stops just above the ankles, like a sort of leg warmer.
Her skin is pale in places around the stomach, face, and legs, but it gets dark on the back and is peppered with brown freckles. Freckles also cover her upper arms and are present, albeit palely, on her thighs.
Her face is broad and it more than anything displays a fearfully uncanny visage of something not human. The ears are in the right place, but they are too big and pointy, and a second, smaller pair of ears hides behind the pointed skin of the first. They each serve to filter different sorts of noises. Her nose is large and adds a healthy dose of "Character" as she likes to say, in a way that can make her seem almost comical. The mouth, large with full lips, hides teeth that seem too big, too sharp or strong, to belong to a person. They are crowded at the bottom and vaguely straight at the top, though their could be crowding. Her canines (what could be her canines, anyway) are longer than the others by a considerable amount. Her skin is tougher and more flexible than a human's; her jaws are far more powerful than any animal's maw. The mouth can open unnaturally wide.
Her tail is much like a cow's with a little bit of her reddish fur clinging to the bottom like a soft mace. It is long enough to brush the skin just a few inches from the back of her knee.

speechSort of slow and steady, kind of childish in a way. She wields a drawl on some of her sounds while she clips a few short. Listening to her speak, you might get the idea that she was a mix of foreigner and southern United States girl.

quirksEating anything and everything. She simply can't help herself. As some people chew on the ends of pencils or swallow bits of their erasers, she eats the stapler whole. Her troll body can withstand these, of course, and the digestive acids make quick work of anything potentially harmful. It is a strange habit, yes, but it has a bonus for her as she can get nutrients from nearly anything organically produced. She is always storing energy!

likes and dislikes She's fairly simple-minded and tends to focus on the bigger picture. When she can just sit back and enjoy the view, whether it be an actual, glorious picturesque valley or examining the things in her life, she greatly enjoys it. She hates conflict. Not fights, because she loves a good fight as much as the next troll, but frustrating confrontations that leave both parties in a huff. Child-minded as she is, Chomper enjoys simple games but hates terribly difficult puzzles. She isn't good with technology.

spare time Keeping journals with detailed drawings and descriptions of plants and animals. She keeps separate logs for her travels. Also, she presses flowers in books. Knitting, sewing, weaving, and other sorts of handicrafts are her hobbies as well. Anything she can do with as little expense as possible.

job? She travels. Mostly on foot but she will catch a train or boat if she has to. In a way, she is looking for her purpose in life. She is typically found in the Eurasian land mass but, given half a chance, she would hop on a boat and go to some island or to the Americas. It's the nature and cities that attracts her.
In the places she travels to, Chomper will look for odd jobs. She'll build things or help people find things or mix herbal remedies for the sick. It doesn't earn her much, but it is enough for secondhand clothes, new journals, and other odds and ends. She doesn't particularly care for buying things or for human money, though.

family She left her family behind long ago because she wanted to travel and see more of the human world. Her father is a large mountain troll, big as a hill with trees growing from the skin on his shoulders and mushrooms popping up over his nose and face. He sleeps often and only wakes up enough to say hello and ask about her life when she visits.
Her mother is a bit of a mystery for she didn't stick around too long after Chomper's birth. She is a troll, she knows that much, a magically powerful one who lives deep in forests far from humans. Sometimes, she imagines she can feel her mother's eyes on her...
