Welcome guest to the council elections page for Limitless. This page will give you insight on our much anticipated council elections. Information includes the campaign schedule, guidelines for each category, interview dates and anything else you may need to know to get started. Please read everything before getting starting. We don't want any miscommunications! Have fun and we hope to see a lot of guildies participate!

Looking to fill up to 2 positions.

A council position isn't about prestige it's about responsibility, dedication and contribution. Here we will outline what you should expect as a council member.

Responsibility: As a council member you should be aware of the various responsibilities that will be placed on you by your fellow council members as well as your family members. These include: hosting pages (lots of work needs to be done), actively chatting on the boards (just so we know you're alive, haha), know everyone by their name (we're a family not just a number of people in a group) and upholding the guilds and TNT's rules (if you follow them then everyone else will to).

Dedication: Everyone here in Limitless is very dedicated to this humble abode. With that said everyone expects the council members to be as well. That doesn't mean that you can't have a life outside of neo, we all do, but we do expect to see you around the guild helping in every way possible. Chatting included!

Contribution: New ideas, spiffy graphics (if you can not really pressured), grammar checks (on different pages) and much more! You can contribute up to anything you'd like. We love new and fun things so we're open to everything. You don't have to contribute something everyday however we would like to see something new at least once a month!

Please don't be intimidated. What one council member may not be able to do you may be that person who could! If you mesh really well with everyone and are able to help our around the guild, then that's all we really ask of you! Don't hesitate to apply and implement as much creativity you can :). You never know, you just might be the next council member ;).

This is a new concept that I have never seen done. I hope it goes well and you're just as excited as I am about it. I'm sure you all have seen campaigns on TV and in school so hopefully the concept isn't completely new. Please read the following the instructions to get more information on your campaign.

Your Headquarters: Essentially you should use a petpage to display information that you'd like others to read. It'll be easier for guildies to have a better overview of you especially if you haven't spoken to them for an extended amount of time. You can use any type of layout you'd like. Information such as: about you, your goals (on neo and/or offsite), what you'd like to see in the guild, what you can do for the guild, why you think you'd be a great council member and anything else you'd like to add.

Advertising: This is where the fun starts! Before the debate begins, you can advertise to your fellow guild members. This means you can send neomails, post on the bulletins, post on the guild boards and even an update or two. This doesn't mean you can constantly do this as this will become annoying!! There are rules. You may utilize one of the advertising options above twice a week. You can also make banners and buttons for others to use to show their support for you!

Staff: Behind every great candidate is an amazing support group! You can have up to 4 people helping you with advertising, preparing you for debates etc. These members are not interested in a council position however they have the knack for helping out and supporting whoever they get behind 100%.

Debate: This section is simple. We will have questions on the boards or front page of the guild. You can respond to the question via board or on your headquarters page. This gives each candidate a chance to show how they respond to questions on the spot. For the questions that require more depth, it shows that you can tackle anything from different perspectives which is key for any council member.

Am I allowed to use other candidates ideas and make them my own?

Absolutely not! This would be stealing and this isn't something we want to see in our council.

Could I get help from the current council members?

No. The most you can do is get layout help like fixing code, tightening up colors etc. Information cannot be critiqued.

Can I give items to people to persuade them to vote for me?

No. This is against TNT's rules and Limitless likes to abide by those rules.
