INSTRUCTIONS!

Welcome to How to Make a Negg Throw Pillow!!!
We will be making a Happiness Negg today!
What you will need are the following:

2 pieces of Yellow felt

1 piece of Green felt (can be scraps)

Black felt for the eyes and mouth

Sewing Needle, yellow, and green thread
And finally

Craft Stuffing
You will need a pattern! I've created one which you can use, all you need to do is right click and save the pattern to your computer, then print it full page.

DO NOT CLAIM THIS AS YOUR OWN PATTERN I WORKED REALLY HARD ON MAKING THIS PLEASE DO NOT STEAL MY WORK!
Now we can begin making our little throw pillow. First step, pin down your pattern pieces to your felt and cut them out.

You should end up with pieces that look like the image above.
We will begin sewing our stem first. You will need both pieces of the green felt you have cut out, your sewing needle, some green thread, and a small amount of stuffing (if you wish to give your stem a puffy look)

You will need to sew around the whole stem. I find, if you are wishing to stuff the leaves of your stem, that it is easiest to stuff each leaf as you have sewn around it before you move onto the next one

Doing it this way will allow you to get into the leaf without ripping the felt. After you have sewn all the leaves and the stem you need to stuff the stem as well and you are finished with this step!

Step two! Lets put on the face. Take the eyes and mouth and place them on one layer of the yellow felt you have cut out, and pin them in place.

This will hold them in place while you sew them on. You can glue them if you wish, however if you are making this for a small child I recommend sewing so there will be no hard bits on your throw pillow.
Now sew the face on where you have pinned it down, sew all around each piece so that it stays down firmly.

Now you are finished with the second step!
Step three: This is the hard step. Now you need to take both pieces of the body and turn the face to where it is inside. Also you need to add in the stem, place it between the two layers of yellow felt with the leaves pointed towards the bottom of the pillow, then pin the layers together so that the stem is stuck in place for you to sew.

Now that you have the layers together you can sew them.Line up the edges and sew them together just like you did the stem.

Just remember to leave an opening so that you can turn the pillow right side out and stuff it!

After you have sewn the edges together and left an opening you can remove the pin holding the stem in place, and turn the pillow right side out by reaching inside the opening and pulling the stem out through it,

the rest of the pillow will follow.

Step four, the final step in your very own negg cushion!
STUFFING!!!!!!!
*throws confetti*
Take a hand full of stuffing and poke it through the hole in the side of the cushion.

Keep stuffing until you have filled it as much as you like, just dont stress the seams or they may burst when you lay on it or play with it.

Then sew up the opening using yellow thread and the same stitch you used to sew everything else.

Now squish it and flatten it until it suits you and VIOLA!!! You now have your very own Negg Cushion!!!!!

Alternatively if you were actually looking for real neggs you could go here
The Neggery, or get them through playing keyquest games. Every once in a while the snowager will be sleeping and you can get one from him as well.
I hope you enjoyed my little page! please be sure and pass it around!!!
