First off:
BE. YOURSELF. People need to see the true you! Do not stress about what you wear. Who cares if someone snickers at you? Lift your chin up and remind yourself: they are probably just jealous, and trying to look like they think you look bad. keep your friends close - mean girls have no self-esteem and feel that by dissing other people they will feel included. Wrong! now, do you have absolutely no friends in your class? well, it appears that your close crew is not in there, but that doesn't mean you can't make new friends. if you see a new girl (or guy) sitting alone, go talk to them. they are feeling the same as you, except on a much larger scale. they have no friends, while you just have non in your class. so invite them to sit by you at lunch, and be her/his partner during that particular class. you will feel good, and make a new students first day that much more enjoyable. now, are you, lets say, not academically strong? do not say you are dumb! here are a few tips to help get the year off to a good start:
study study study!: try to make an effort to study. it is not as horrible as it sounds!
homework comes first: sure you really want to hang out with friends, but if you make an effort to do homework and get it done, you will get on your parents good side. and as a reward, they may let you hang out with friends more! see, it all works out.
pay attention in class:paying attention can work wonders. just focus on what the teacher is saying - it may not be as horrible as it appears.
