The night finally stand up at the horizon. The sun dies in the sky, letting his lasts sunshines illuminate the world. He will only return this morning... Now, its the time were the darkness, monsters and strange events happens... Maybe to you ?
Speaking of that... Do you ear the voices ? No... I think its only one... This... What do you do ? No... DON'T LEAVE... Its said that... No, I'm serious, don't go see, you might... Regret it ?
Its too late... Ignoring your friend, you started to follow the voice. All the notes were magical... It was like if you were guided by something invisible, even if you can't understand the true meaning of the lyrics...
After a short walk, you are in front of a cave... The voice grow stronger, like if she invites you to follow her... Wthout any idea where you were going, you stepped inside. The magical notes echoed on the floor, the walls, the ceilling... They made more insitant... Than, everything stopped. But when you realised where you were. Two empty holes appears in front of you. They seems infinitly deep... But the most horrible is the body around them. It was an horrible creature. Its may be a Xweetock, but it was unsure. She was skinny, and its seems that her bronze skin was only recovering bones... Nothing more. Five golden snakes were decorating her creepy head. Afraid, you tried to flee, but it was impossible now.
You are a stone statue...

Jhayi ___ Jhayi is an exiled princess. Why ? Because she is born as a twin, and in the society where she lives, parents are forced to have one child only. Even the kings. So, for avoidng civil war due to the situation, they sent Jhayi away in the plains with a clan of exiled people. When she grow up, her goal is to rturn Armeva in a peace state, like it used to be, by deleting the monarchy of her family. Such a big task for a simple girl. I don't know if she will be able to do this, but she is so determined, that I think that she has a chance, whenever how small it is. |

See how the mute lead the blind…" Maluvero muttered to himself, stepping slowly along the rocky terrain, feeling each step carefully. Thankfully, the mountainside was quite barren and devoid of inhabitants. He couldn't bare to think of what he must look like, a six-legged Xweetok staggering along blindfolded, led by what appeared to be a will-o-the-wisp, which were inadvisable to follow even when one had the advantage of sight on their side. The luminescent ball turned, showing dim eyes hidden amongst the ethereal flames that danced unaffected by the stiff breeze. It floated over by the Xweetok, flaring up bright and emitting a little heat. Maluvero sighed, but turned in the direction of his small companion, Vox, who had been named for the voice he lacked. "If I didn't know who we were looking for, I'd probably be questioning whether it was worth it at this point," he added, quite honestly. It was certainly not false, but that was no surprise. Whether it was a curse or simply inherent to his nature, he was incapable of lying. Which was not to say he was honest, by any means. Simply that he was more creative when it came to misleading people. Vox circled around him in a tightening circle, and Maluvero could feel the increasing heat signaling that he was getting close. It was hard enough to understand Vox's gestures when he could see them, but at the moment he was limited to the simplest of directions, feeling for the heat that Vox could emit at will. But even a seemingly interminable game of "Hot and Cold" was better than a truly interminable existence as a statue.

The moonlight was falling upon the dead land, lighting everything of a faint blue light. Far away, Medusanas clearly saw this faint orange spot. It was awkward, since no one tried to cross these lands since a while, except those little kids who thought it would be funny to pay her a visit, for trying to look courageous and cool in front of their peers. She mumbled a few words to the statue next to her, a young boy, with fear forever carved in his face. "You tried to be better than others, eh? Now, look at yourself. Look at your friends. Your souls are now imprisoned into those simple stone bodies. You didn't want to listen to your parents? Too bad for you, kid…" At these words, she stared outside again. "Maybe you need some other friends… Stay there, it won't be long.
She smiled in front of the irony of what she just said. He will probably never move again, unless someone comes back to claim him. But since no one ever tried… He'll just stay there until the end of times. She rose, walked outside, and started to follow her prey.
-----------------
Maluvero grimaced as his paw struck a rocky protrusion, his normal broad, fanged Cheshire grin twisting awry at the edges. He stopped, as Vox had just pulled to a halt, circling in until he was actually inside Maluvero, which was where he normally took up residence. Maluvero could feel as his guide drew out a beeline to the cave entrance from which Medusanas had emerged. Maluvero turned, facing in that direction as best he could given his lack of sight. "Ah, there you are. I was beginning to suspect that I had made the journey to no avail. I do hope you'll pardon my presumption in coming without vision, but I'd like to think that I'm more interesting animate. Certainly, the condition lends itself to more two-sided conversation as a rule. But I neglect my introductions. My name is Maluvero. I would, of course, likely not be here if I didn't know of you and your remarkable abilities," he addressed Medusanas smoothly. His inability to lie was a handicap he'd learned to work around and often with. Compliments were always carefully selected, as it was difficult to phrase one so that it was not only true, but also flattering.
-----------------
The voice that just raised in front of Medusanas suprised her. He arrived quite quickly here… This Maluvero, like he calls himself, is different from others. She approached him, her golden snakes proudly standing on her head. Then, she closed her eyes. Even blind, she managed to walk toward him without tripping, until she felt his presence was near enough for a decent conversation. "Since you seem to don't want my death, or waste my time, I think I could take to time to talk with you, Maluvero. You already know me, so I doubt I need to introduce myself as well. Also, I would like you to come with me inside my abode. It is better for talking. I would really like to know why you come to me, since I'm not well appreciated around here. With reason." At these words, she turned back, and walked inside the cave, her vaporous tail following her like a trail. "You're better to follow me if you don't want to get lost in here."
-----------------
Far from it, I assure you," Maluvero replied, glad to have found her at last. "And if I assure you of something, you can depend on exactly what I say," he added, also thankful that he could hear her and did not need Vox to point out where she stood. After all, if he were talking to somebody trustworthy, chances were that he was wasting his time. "I will go in with you, though I do hope you shall be considerate enough to allow me to walk out again when the time comes. Really? I heard that you had quite a rock garden. I take it that some people do not appreciate your variety of gardening, however. I do have a guide with me, as a matter of fact," Maluvero answered as he followed her, Vox gliding out of his chest to stare at Medusanas. The phantasm was not corporeal enough to make a breeze, much less have enough about him to be turned to stone. "Allow me to introduce you. Where others may have a conscience to be their guide, I have my silent companion, Vox.
-----------------
Medusanas sighted. "A companion… Such an annoying thing. I guess he's quite useful to you, but overall, I don't really like having people around me. Unless they bring me something, in exchange of taking some of my time. I don't like being bothered for nothing, you know…" She looked around, and kept walking deeper into the cave, carefully avoiding the statues. "We're arrived." She entered a vast room, where the ceiling was high, and the floor completely covered by carpets and cushions of the richest silks. All round the place were lying the most beautiful and mighty creatures, all imprisoned in their body of stone who are cracking and falling apart under the effect of the time. Medusanas went at the end of the main room and laid on a pile of carpets. "Come here, we'll be comfortable for talking. I really hope you're worth it…"
-----------------
Vox has proven himself indispensable, and has saved my life on several occasions," Maluvero answered, following after, feeling his way carefully and quickly to avoid running into any of Medusanas' previous and more permanent guests. "If you are busy, I do not wish to interfere," he offered. "Though it was on a related that matter that I came to visit you. I will certainly endeavor to be worth any trouble I should put you to with my visit," he added reassuringly. He was a little surprised at the carpet underfoot, and the first cushion he'd encountered had given him a start before he'd worked out what it was by touch alone. After a short distance, one that seemed longer for his troubles in making it, they reached the main room, and Maluvero took a seat nearby. "If you don't mind me asking, have you had many other visitors of late? The entire area has picked up something of a reputation, after all."
