Getting bored of your current Avatar, or maybe you just got a new one
and can't wait to show it off to all the other Rainbow Riders!
It's really not hard to change your Avatar, you'll be an expert at it in no time.

To change your Avatar, just go HERE and go to where it says CHOOSE A NEW AVATAR, click on the arrow, it will then show you a list of ALL the Avatars that you can use.
The top list of these Avatars are your DEFAULT Avatars, absolutely everyone has these!
If you scroll down further on this list, you will see these dashes -------
below these you will see ALL the current Avatars
that you have accquired.
After you are done selecting your Avatar, scroll down and click on SUBMIT.
Wala...your avatar has been changed.
Now...go POST on our Emerald message board and
SHOW IT OFF!!


WHAT ARE AVATARS
Avatars are images that appear under your name
whenever you post a message on the NeoPets Chat Boards (NeoBoards).
They basically represent you.
There is one provided avatar AKA "default" avatar for every species (except the Ruki and Yurble),
the six basic Faeries (water, fire, earth, dark, light ,air)
and the "Lumpy" Christmas Rock.
From time to time NeoPets may add additional default avatars....
but not too often!

Aside from the default avatars, there are hundreds of
avatars which can be found around the site
by doing different things like getting a high score on a game,
feeding your NeoPet something special, playing with a toy,
and more. Some are more harder to find than others,
and some have been retired and no longer available.

It seems the solution has been found...first...ya gotta have the Mad About Orange avatar
and it MUST BE your active avi...then combine Blumaroo Steak, Orange Juice
and the book Gourmet Cooking for your Pet at the Mystery Island cooking pot.

NOW....this is where the expense comes in people....
Good luck finding a copy of the darn book!

You see prices for this book have shot up something terrible and the reason why...THE AVATAR...what else.
The book itself is only a rarity 50, so more copies SHOULD restock. Orange Juice is a frequent prize on the Dice-A-Roo game.
Blumaroo Steak is a low-rarity Spooky Food, sometimes given as a booby prize on Test Your Strength.

The avatar...they claim...will only be available for a few more days
most likely until the last day of August.

Good luck to all who try to get the avi...I think I shall wait....not worth it right now!!

Are we confused yet!!

You will get the regular Ruki avatar if you visit the Desert Ruki pet first,
so don't get confused if you get two avatars there and none at the regular Ruki's page.

To get the Baby Kougra avatar, this pet needs to be under 59 days old.

**For now... Mogullar's page seems to work!!

For the Darigan Pteri avatar, the pet needs to be exactly 644 days old. I have no idea right now of any upcoming Darigan Pteris that will be that old. If you do let me know!!
