My Tale

A dirty old box sat on the corner of a street in Neopia. It was busy that day, the street full of neopets and their owners. Many neopians hardly even noticed the box full of small hungry homeless aishas.

The sun shown down on the box, keeping the small aishas warm. A shop owner was outside his shop happily putting out new goods for Neopians when he noticed the muddy, wet and old box sitting infront of his store.

What is this? He thought as he walked over toward it. A small mew was heard and then a few others. Four little aishas looked up at the shop keeper as he picked up the box. Well now,' He said smiling, 'Where do you all come from?

The shop keeper carried the box into his store and placed it behind the counter. Two of the aishas were red and the other two were yellow. Only one of the aishas was a male. The shop keeper quickly finished re-stocking and then picked all the aishas up in his apron. He smiled as he thought of names for all of them. The 3 girls were called Chiku, Zira, and Risa. The small male was called Dinari.

The aishas were welcomed into the shop keeper's store as a home. They found it a great place to play since it sold Plushies. Dinari was fiesty and always caught teazing his younger sisters. On inspection days when the pound would come by looking for strays, the siblings hid among the plushies and ontop of the high shelves. Dinari always found it fun to hide in the Aisha plushies because he was not much bigger than them.

Dinari and his sisters had a wonderful home. They were loved, fed, played with, and had a warm place to sleep...but their life was not perfect. It was not long til the shop keeper had to close his store due to the big Toy Outlet moving into Neopia. Young neopets were no longer interested in 100% original toys so the shop keeper had no other choice for the aishas.

He looked at their sad eyes as they rode the bus out of town. He couldn't take them to the pound, so instead he'd let them go with the hope that they would find a new home.

He looked at them as they played in the field. Goodbye...' He said with a heavy heart. None of the aishas had even noticed he had left them until night came...

They found a small log to sleep inside for the night but it did not last long. They were awaken by one of their sister's screams. An eyrie had gotten ahold of her and was taking her away. Dinari ran after his sister, but lost her as the eyrie flew over some trees and into a forest. As soon as he had lost one sister, he had lost his other 2. He could not remember where the log was and was all alone.

Dinari wandered Neopia until he came across a large ship with a young pirate kougress on it. He had no where else to go, so why not hope a ride on her ship. Dinari snuck carefully onto the boat without her seeing and hide inside a barrel.

When the ship landed, he was no longer in Neopia. Many pirates stood on the dock and talked to the pirate kougress. Dinari's eyes were wide with excitement. What is this place!?' Dinari thought to himself as he raced off the boat and onto his new home, Krawk Island.

Dinari soon found home at The Golden Dubloon as long as he worked in the kitchen. He studied at the Acedemy, learning how to be a pirate and he soon made a new friend, Teal, the young kougress whose boat had led him to the Island.

Years passed before much changed in his life. He was no longer a kitten and had forgotten most of what had happened to him and his sisters. He had made his own home and no longer lived or worked at the Golden Dubloon. Instead, he shared his home with Teal when she was on the Island.

It was a fall day when Dinari met a new friend, and his new caretaker. She was a petite girl with long red hair and blonde highlights. Her skin was a lighter hue and a young lupess and wocky were with her. They were trying to be out smarted by one of the pirates when Dinari stepped in to help. The pirate was an enemies of Dinari's and quickly drew his sword. Before Dinari had a chance to do anything Rachel had the pirate flat on his back. I'D LEAVE HIM ALONE IF YOU WERE SMART! The petite woman growled at the krawk pirate.

Dinari stood motionless for a moment. It was the first time in years that a human had been nice to him. Rachel picked up Dinari and smiled. What is a cute aisha like you doing in a mean old place like this? Come on, your coming home with me!" Rachel said happily as she carried me away on a boat with my new brother and sister, Gloria and Vala.

So here I am today, leaving with my nut for a sister and pyscho brother. But to tell the truth, I can't think of any other family to live with but this one!
