Because a fellow "member" pointed out that I can link galleries, just not specific sections, I switched those that have pages that link to galleries to link to their galleries! Thank you Kitty!

Okay, onto the update. Clearly I'm a bit slow. I didn't realize you can't link to galleries. Some people keep a chunk or all of their collections in their gallery. Instead of linking to a page I'll just put "see gallery" from now on.

Added a disclaimer. This is mostly so if I find out or know that someone has a mass collection for the purpose of making np I can deny listing them without having a silly conscience attack or something equally unneeded. Selling in bulk =/= mass collecting.

Completely overhauled MassCollection. Changes include:
- layout + a new button
- increased cap (from 3 to 5)
- a sweep of "members".
- took away trade link
- added lookup link
- collectors are now listed by join date, not alphabetically
- alphabetical anchor links for easier navigation of collections
- added "testimonials".
- changed "insane collectors" title to "hoarders".
- changed the "all" item collectors to "specific hoarders".
Thank you to everyone who replied to my mass message this holiday season. Without you this directory wouldn't be possible.

Who are mass collectors? Your neighbors. Your friends. Your guild-mates. Maybe even your enemies. Mass collectors are everywhere. You may even mass collect without really being aware of it. Is there an item in your SDB that you like and slowly the number of them is climbing up. You don't have to actively buy them... they just sort of find their way into your SDB while you're doing your dailies or when just wandering neopets.

So what is mass collecting really? To put it simply: organized hording. Or the hording of a specific item or ... dozen. A mass collector doesn't collect all different types of plushies, they collect many of one plushie.

Why would someone even start mass collecting? The why is a very personal, as with most things in life. For me it because I like an item or it's symbolic in some way. I like to have structure around my collections so I often have goals and my collections change. This isn't normal, nor is it abnormal. Each person collects in their own way. Some MassCollection "members" have agreed to share their whys. (If you would like to share please mail me. I would be happy to put it up!)

How does mass collecting even work? However you wish it to, provided it fits into a few guidelines:
① You collect multiple of one or more items.
That's it. Really. You can advertise that you collect, you can keep it to yourself. You can collect an item for no reason, or it can have deep symbolic meaning to you. There is no one right way. There is only the ways that work for you and the ways that don't.
