*You approach a nearby tourbus seemingly half-buried in the Lost Desert sand, absolutely loaded with people. The side of the tourbus is emblazoned with the words 'Mariku44's Desert Tours' and decide that you may as well see what this tour is like and you hop on the bus. A few minutes later a blond-haired Kyrii approaches the bus, an Angelpuss following him. He hops up to the front, standing behind the driver, the Angelpuss sets down beside him. The Kyrii taps his microphone*

Kyrii: This thing on? *the Angelpuss nods* Ah thats good then.*he turns towards the bus passengers* Right then. Well, welcome everybody to Mariku44's desert tour. I am Mariku44, Mariku to you lot, and the Angelpuss is Millennium - or Milli if you wish. Well, this is my view of the Lost Desert. Its not my home, I'm an Egyptian Kyrii myself, but I know quite a bit about this place so I hope everyone is ready to go

Other passenger: Umm...I need to use the bathroom

Mariku: *a little annoyed*You shoulda gone before we left. Ah well*points* there is a bush. Quickly before I decide to leave without ya!*waits for a few minutes as the other passenger hops back on* Right, all ready? Good, then lets go *driver starts up the bus and the tour has begun*

First Stop - Battle Supplies Shop

Mariku: This is the Battle Supply shop. Owned by an Aisha. You can find quite a number of good battledome items here, if ya actually battle of course - unlike me who doesn't at all like going in the battledome. Other passenger: Oh look wow! A Desert Arrow Launcher! Only cost 7,000np! Cool!

Shop Keeper: *counting money while giggling*

Mariku: ...like a Desert Arrow Launcher for instance. Hop onto the shop wizard in Neopia Central, you can get them for about 2,800np

Other passenger: *blinks as he realises* D'oh!

Millennium: *giggles a little*

Mariku: That is why I advise people to listen to what I am saying before they start going wild with their money *sighs* Anyway, after that little spot of...idiocy...lets move on

Second Stop - Fruit Machine

Mariku: Okay, this is the Lost Desert Fruit Machine. The locals absolutely love the thing, even though most of the time they win absolutely nothing, and it can only be played once a day. I don't see the excitement with it, as I said, most of the time you get absolutely nothing - well, maybe a puff of sand. The most that I have ever won on here is 2500np and a petpet - a Poppit to, how boring. I've seen a few people win paint brushes on here, but thats like a 1 in 2,000,000 chance or something. *shrugs* Play with it if ya like, you probably aren't going to get anything.

Other passenger: *pulls lever on machine and squeals at the result* Oh wow! I just won an Electric Paint Brush!

Mariku: *annoyed* Thats it! Everyone back on the bus! Lets leave!

Third Stop - Brucey's War Tent

Mariku: You know what? I really haven't got any clue whatsoever as to why this is still here. I mean, the war ended a long time ago.

Brucey B: Step right up! Join the army! Sakhmet needs you to help in the war effort!

All passengers: *gulp, squeel, scream*

Mariku: *rather angry* Brucey, can you please stop trying to scare my customers away every time we pass here?

Brucey B: Sorry there, just doing my job as always

All passengers: *sigh in relief*

Mariku: *sighs* Everyone back to the bus before he tries that again

Fourth Stop - Food Stall

Mariku: Well, here we are at the Lost Desert's Food Stall, owned by a Grarrl. More over expensive items which you can get cheaper using the shop wizard but there you go.

All passengers: *Making sure they won't go and buy something*

Mariku: And this time they heed my advice *blinks and looks to Millennium* I have to admit I am amazed

Millennium: *giggling*

Shop Keeper: Mariku! Are you tryin' to get me out of business or somethin'? *grabs a Bony Grarrl Club*

Mariku: Meep! *pushes tour group back into bus* Lets...um...leave, before someone gets hurt

Fifth Stop - Petpet Stall

Mariku: And so, we come to another shop, but this time, a decently priced one. Yes, this is probably the only one that actually has cheap prices. Run by a Peophin called Peopatra, this place is full of petpets.
