First off, I just want to formally say good-bye to my loving sissy, GoddessTheGelert. Goddess was cruelly stolen from my mom and, despite her best efforts, was unable to be recovered. My mom and I have shed many tears, but I think the reality is that she will never come back home. *sigh* If, by some miracle, she is recovered, a giant party will be held at our home, greater than any celebration Neopia has seen.

It's been a little over three months, and my mom and I have been contemplating on what to do. I've had a couple of foster brothers and sisters (sandyn_rulez and puffymarshmellowpuff being two of the greatest!), but my mom knew she couldn't take care of them the way they deserve to be taken care of. So, one night, my mom and I had a long talk about the future. You see, I've been a starry Zafara since I was a couple of months old..I can barely remember being otherwise. But, my mom and I decided (well, more me, my mom really had a tough time with this!) that it was time for a change. Goddess, though younger, trained hard for good stats. I've, notably, had some training, but not near her stats. However, the time has come to move on and start training me..yes, lil ole' me. It is kind of scary to be put in the lab ray for the first time, but I'm sure I can handle it..after all, my brave little sis did for almost three years! So, starting on March 17, 2004, I, MaraPara, will be undergoing lab ray treatment! Though my mom is kind of sad to lose her little girl,"MaraPara the Starry Zafara," she is happy for my new endevour. Of course, she will love me no matter what color, species, or gender I am. Wish me luck!
