I'm
Laula. At least that's the name I like most on the internet. I have been playing neopets for more than four years now, thanks to my old pokemon board and very very boring easter holidays.
Another game made me leave this site for about two years and with 2.0 I thought I would never come back. I only came back when the pound was working again so I could get rid of some of my pets that had become incredibly ugly. But I'm addicted again and now all my pets get petpages and lookups and I started coding again. I got a new guild (Eistee!! ^^) and started restocking (actually much more successfull than ever before) and got some new goals.
When I'm online I usually play some flash games (Did you guess, I love maths nightmare...), try to restock (I'm horribly easily distracted, so I miss the restocks of- ... oh, a butterfly!) and feed Kads. I try to stay off the boards, as they can be really rude sometimes. I also lost contact with most of my neofriends and my old guilds.
I don't like neomails much, because of the filter which sometimes blocks really weird words Oo And I am often not in the mood to talk.
All of my old petpages have been taken down. I'll make new ones, someday, beneath is a list of the ones that are already done.
All of my pets have characters, though I don't have the time to roleplay them. It just feels better. So I am very picky regarding their names.
I like coding HTML, but I won't make any custom lookups/layouts, sorry. I don't have enough time. I used to have a petpage with shop layouts, but they don't work with the new layout of the site. I also enjoy drawing my pets though I am not as good as I wish to be. At least I managed to win five trophies in the beauty contest, yay. I plan on participating again sometimes, but I need enough time to advertise. Pets I'd like to enter: Mantophasmatodeus, Nachtgestalt, Karolyta.
Though I don't have many neofriends, there are two I am incredibly happy about: Nuk and Schoki *cuddles*

Some questions I got asked a few times...
Q: How did you get the circles behind your pets?
A: They are Neocash Backgrounds, buyable in the Elite Boutique which one can enter once his account is over 49 months old. They cannot be traded.
Q: Will you add me as a neofriend?
A: No. I don't have any neofriends. I literally HATE the stalker bar. I don't want anyone to see when I stop by the pc at night after I went to the bathroom or something like that.
Q: Will you give me...
A: NO! I hate beggars. A personal thing. I worked hard for everything so you can do it, too. And if you're to lazy or have other lame excuses, I don't care.
Q: How did you make your lookup/coding/etc?
A: I've been doing this for some years now, I do this as my job. If you want to know, I used Photoshop and a nice HTML editor. Feel free to ask me specific questions (i.e. How did you place this image there) but if you know nothing about it all, I am not the right person to teach you. Go find a tutorial, there must be plenty out there. I do not know any, because I am German and those I know would not help you much. D'oh.
Q: Do you take requests?
A: Sorry, no. If I had time, my pets would have lookups and petpages and stuff. So - no time at all.
Q: Is your pet up for trade/adoption?
A: No pet listed on this page under "My Pets" is UFA/UFT and never will be as long as it is listed there. Only pets with an explicit note on their lookup are UFA/UFT, usually lab rats.
These are the pets that some would call "permies". But I am no big fan of trading pets over and over again, to get more "valuable" ones, so my pets are all somehow permies, except for those actually zapped by the labray and some of my old ones I don't like anymore. I will rather morph a pet if I don't like it anymore than trade it, because I care most about their names.

My second pet and my little cutie. I always dreamt of a plushie Ruki, but at that time they did not exist and I painted him island. With neopets 2.0 I could buy some clothes matching his former custom design.
He is kind of my battle pet, but not very strong. Maybe someday I'll train him, if there is nothing other left I want to buy.

She's rather young. I had a time when I wanted to zapp Usuls and one day I got her off the pound and she turned snow. I did not know at that time that the snow paint brush had deflated that much because of key quest. I decided to keep her, as I like usuls very much. Unfourtunaly the "Prissy Miss Snowflake Dress" was removed from the mall before I could buy it and now I am incredibly happy, that I was able to trade it.

Chio, my little Gypsy Draik, started her life as a Bori, as I wanted to paint her baby. But then I decided to morph her into a Draik. Since I liked none of the colours that much, I chose orange, as it was rather cheap. Her custom design always included lots of jewelry, so I painted her Royal now. But as soon as I have enough NP, she will be painted Desert. Draiks in my opinion look much better with 2.0.

His nickname is Berry. I adopted him as a Bori, after I had seen him for long time on an adopt page. Though I don't know if I would do it again, because I don't like real wold names that much, I love him and he is definitely the one who benefits most of 2.0.

The first pet I ever adopted. I applied for him when he was a Yellow Poogle and got him when he was a Tuska. He was also the first pet I morphed - back into a Poogle. But I hate them since 2.0 :( I plan to morph him into a Baby Shoyru... someday.

I got her out of the pound years ago. She was... I think a Buzz and I zapped her. She became clouded and I kept her for a while, since I really liked the name. When I got my second FFQ I fulfilled my dream of a plushie Ixi. And now I am very, very happy that she is not converted, as the new ones just don't look as nice.

She was created to become a faerie Techo. But since there was no lab place left on my main, I wanted to zap her first. Bad idea... 2.0 came before she was painted. So she remained lab pet until I decided to paint her baby. But I don't like her that much as a Baby Ogrin. So she'll be morphed to a Buzz and painted with my FFQ to get the avatar. It was -her- FFQ and she'll get it.
