Behold. The very spot where your cat characters live and die :B
I have numbered the areas for your viewing pleasure. notrlylolol.
Ill be explaining each landmark in the text below~
1:: whisperclan camp
This is where the clan lives. It has all the usual dens. The WhisperClan kaiser; -- announces important news from the Highrock. The Highrock is located in the far corner of the camp, and stands about 10 feet tall.
The rook's den and veteran's den are close together. Both dens reside in hallowed out trees. The rook den looms over the entire camp, with a gap in the trunk for the rooks to enter and leave as they wish. The trunk of the tree is very large, with space for the young cats who want to sleep on the moss bedding thats on the ground, but there is also room inside a big branch that juts out horizontally from the tree. The branch is sturdy, and can easily hold up to five apprentices.
The veteran's den is a fallen tree up against the back of the rook's den. The hole in that tree is on the very left.
The nursery is in a large bramble bush, with lots of room inside. Bits of thorn grow on the outside for protection, while leaves and twigs are weaved in to create an strong barrier. It can hold many consorts and canties.
The fighter's den entrance is between two large rocks. The opening is tight, but it opens up to a large crevice. The den is partway underground, and has thorn and other plants growing on top of the rocks to shelter the cats from the wind and rain. Theres always fresh moss and lots of room to stretch.
The curer's den is inside a thick circle of tall plants and trees, wound tightly and indestructible. There is an area for herbs and stuff, then there is an area of bedding, for the curer and her/his shaman and a seperate den for any sick cats that may reside there.
The kaiser's den is below the Highrock. On one of the ledges that lead down to the clearing, there is a small opening, that leads inside the entire hallowed out rock. The fresh-kill pile is usually in the shade of the Highrock.
2 :: training grounds
This sandy training place is about the size of WhisperClan camp. It can have many apprentices and their mentors at a time. It even has a fallen log for a viewing area if mentors want to watch their apprentices practice. The area is unfortunately very sandy. After training, rooks can go for a quick dip into the Fish Pool (#7) nearby to clean off the sand and cool off after their tiring training. The Training Grounds are located in between the tail fins of the Fish Forest. (#4)
3 :: tower forest and its tower
Tower Forest is considered by many cats the most mysterious place in WhisperClan territory. It is the first out of three of the forests in the clan's area. The Tower's purpose is unknown, along with any other information about the tower. Some believe it was made by twolegs, but no cat knows why. It is so tall, its tip goes way above the clouds. The inside is just a spiraling staircase that leads to the top. No cat has ever tried to make it to the top, in fear that they will starve or fall. The forest itself is mysterious too. Some cats have entered it and never returned, but it is still a prime hunting spot for WhisperClan. Inside holds an abundance of prey; Voles, mice, rabbits, squirrels, birds, pretty much any prey edible to cats.
Tower forest: Mysterious and chilling, or nothing but nonsense and perfectly safe?
4 :: fishtail forest
The second of three forests in WhisperClan territory. It is well known for its odd shape- A fish. The forest is shaped like a jumping fish, with the Training Grounds (#2) at its tail fin, and its nose pointing towards the ocean. It is just an ordinary forest, its prey amount depending completely on the season. You can find mostly just birds in Fish Forest, but some voles, squirrels and mice too. No rabbits and ironically, no fish.
5 :: shoreline forest
Shoreline forest is the third out of three forests in WhisperClan territory. It is home to many creatures, including squirrels, rabbits, birds, mice, and voles. It is smaller than the other forests and the least dense, so its variety and quantity of prey is limited. This forest gets its name from its border with the beach. The trees go right up to the shoreline, where many fish, big and little, swim about. Cats learn to fish out most of their fish from this beach, perching out on the rocks and hunting there.
6 :: moon cave
This cave is where cats go to share tongues and consult StarClan. Curers go there every half moon, and leader's go there whenever they need guidance from their warrrior ancestors. The cave goes from up on top of the raised area of land, right down to underneath the water. The Moon Cave is a very difficult place to get to. It keeps SilverClan's medicine cats and leader in shape. The first obstacle is getting there... It is on a raised bit of land that is difficult for some to climb. What makes it a little easier to get at, is a very tall tree that lives at the base of the raised area. To get up top, the cat would climb up the tree and jump to the grass. From there, getting to the Moon Cave is simple. But inside, it gets hard again.
Once at the entrance of the cave, it drops down very steeply, allowing a cat to go one pawstep at a time, downwards on the small ledges, until they get at the bottom. The bottom is filled with water (Being connected to the ocean) with lily pads leading up to an area of stone. The lily pads are sturdy and big enough to walk on carefully. From the last lily pad, the cat would step onto the stone, where the moon would shine through a gap in the wall, illuminating a large crystal that the cat would touch noses with, then consult StarClan. Getting out of the cave is a lot easier than getting in.
7 :: fish pool
The Fish Pool is a small pool with lots of fish in it. (Hence, the Fish Pool!) It is home to an abundance of species of fish, making it a primary source for the Clan's fish supply. The Fish Pool is also used to wash in. After training at the Training Grounds, a cat's pelt would get so sandy that it would take moons to clean out with just a cat's tounge, so rooks and mentors take a dip in the refreshing waters to feel clean again. The waterfall that empties into the Fish Pool moves rapidly, and often sprays out a watery mist.
8 :: waterside
When WhisperClan meets with any neighboring clans, its here. Close to --Clan and WhisperClan both, so that both clans can access it easily. The fallen tree that stretches from the ground beside the fish pool to the top of the raised area, is a gradual incline, making it easy for all cats, including elders, to cross safely and join in at the gathering. The cats settle in the open area between the winding river the flows across the raised area.
9 :: clear waters
The Clear Waters is a perfect place to spot fish. The water is extremely clear any cat could see a fish on the surface, or deep in the water. The Clear Waters help WhisperClan determine exactly when the seasons change, because different kinds of fish come out on the first say and for the rest of each season. So when they watch The Clear Waters, they can tell when Leafbare is turning into Newleaf, and so on.
10 :: fish nose beach
Fish Nose Beach doesn't have much use, except for finding washed up creatures and colorful sea-shells. After just one walk along Fish Nose Beach, you can collect many pretty, colorful things. The cats of WhisperClan like to decorate their dens with these colorful things. They can be givin as gifts when an apprentice becomes a warrior, kit becomes an apprentice, or any special occasion.
11 :: the passageway
There isn't much to say about the Passageway. It is used to exit (or enter) WhisperClan's territory. --Clan uses it to travel to the Waterside, where gatherings are held. Beyond the passageway is --Clan's territory.
12 :: the ocean
Called plainly... The Ocean. The only ocean SilverClan knows. There are many legends about the Ocean. One legend tells of a brave young fighter named Boldstep, who tried to swim all the way to a distant island, but got eaten by a monster on the way. To keep canties out of trouble, their mothers often scold that a ocean monster will eat them when they least expect it if they don't behave.
