About Clockwork
MalignClockwork was born in a lab. His whole life he was experimented on by
a mad scientist. It was all he ever knew. Perhaps that is why, when he was
rescued and brought under the care of Meer and her neopets, all he wanted was
to continue to be experimented on by being zapped by the lab ray.
Most pets do not like going under the ray, but Clockwork doesn't seem to mind,
seems to like it in fact. The constant change in his appearance and abilities
doesn't phase him a bit. But then again, Clockwork's mental state is unstable,
so there is no predicting his reaction to any situation. It is unknown whether
the years at the mercy of a cruel scientist made him insane, or whether he
was just born the way he is.
Clockwork's species and color is always changing. However his true form is a
half robot mutant xweetok. Of course such things do not really exist in Neopia.
Maybe that is why he prefers to be constantly zapped. Or maybe this is not
his true form after all, merely a way he chooses to represent himself through
his changing physical forms. Clockwork's true gender if male. Although it
doesn't seem to matter to him how many times the ray switches his gender back
and forth. Most pets find it disconcerting to have their gender changed, but
Clockwork doesn't care. However we will always refer to him as he, just for
the sake of sanity (ours, not his of course).
Clockwork's Lab Log
Here is where Clockwork records what happens to him every day at the lab. It
can be hard to make sense of his incoherent ramblings, and his handwriting is
atrocious. But you can't really blame him for that, every time he changes species
he has to learn how to write with new hands all over again. Anyway, if you

Clockwork's Petpet
I don't like petpets. At least, I don't like THIS petpet. They said I should
have a petpet. They said here take this one, it's made of cardboard, no worries.
But they lied. THEY LIED! It moves.... It moves when I'm not looking. When
I'm not looking it tries to steal my thoughts. It tires.... Look there it moved!!
Did you see it? Just now... oh of course you didn't SEE it, it only moves when
you don't LOOK at it. See how sneaky it is?
So then I had a brilliant idea. I'd take the evil thing to the lab with me!
Then it would get zapped along with me, and hopefully it would disappear then.
But no! The petpet outsmarted me. Instead of disappearing, it turned into a
meepit. A MEEPIT!!! Now it is more capable of stealing thoughts. MY thoughts.
It wants to eat them. Eat my thoughts and take over the world. It's a conspiracy!
The Kookith at the petpet lab is in on it. *whimpers and cowers and hides from
Meepit* It STILL only moves when I'm not looking, crafty little thing....
04/09/08 - But... nothing happens. It makes a kind of 'zzrrrppptttt' sound before
shutting down completely. The creepy Kookith shoos you away and appears
quite angry, so you hightail it out of there before he shoots some miniature
laser beam at you or something.
