Caru Live Entertainment

Would you like to help make Caru a fun and exciting place to be! Why not run some Live Entertainment? If you are on the guild message board and there are a few people around, try running one of the following games! If you do, please neomail shna1234 and let her know so that you can be credited for your activity and donation to the guild morale!

Entertainment Choices

Snag
The entertainer will hide the word "snag" in one of their posts. The first person to catch it and neomail the entertainer wins!


Call of the Wild
The entertainer will make a post that says, "Call of the Wild!" The first person to neomail the entertainer with an animal sound (woof! woof!, meow!, etc) wins!


Neopian Trivia
The entertainer will post a neopets related question. The first person to post the correct answer wins! For example: How many lupes can you see in the Ice Caves map? (Answer:one) The question can be anything you like as long as the answer can be found on the site.


Dance, Dance, Neolution
The entertainer will announce that it's time for "Dance, Dance, Neolution. So start dancing!" Guild members then take turns posting dance moves (spins, twirls, cha-chas, etc). The entertainer will call out "Stop!" and the last person who danced before the "Stop!" wins! There can be as many rounds of this game as you'd like!


Wheel of Friendship
The entertainer will say that they are pulling out the Wheel of Friendship and ask people to take a spin. Everyone who spins gets a gift, up until the entertainer says they are stopping. Be careful, though! Some of the gifts aren't so nice! (You could get a new wearable for your pet... but it might be a pile of dung.)
For some variation, a fun thing to do is to put the items you'd like to give as gifts in your inventory and ask people to call out a number from 1 to as many items as you are giving away. Then, give them the item that is in the spot they call.
If you are feeling creative, you can even type up some fun things to go with spots on the wheel. For instance, if you ARE giving out a pile of dung, maybe say, "(name here) steps up and takes a spin! As the wheel is turning, a baby elephante plops down on it, knocking it over. When the elephante leaves again, all that is left is a pile of dung. Enjoy! (No, I'm not saying you should or should not give out piles of dung... it is just an example!)


Magic Carpet Ride
The entertainer will invite members to hop on for a magic carpet ride. Anyone who gets on the carpet can participate in this game. The entertainer will call out an activity or game, such as, "Visit the Island Mystic and post your fortune here" or "Go play a round of Meerca Chase II and post your score here" and the last person to return falls off the carpet! (You may give a parting gift if you would like, but it is not required.) You can use any activity in Neopia, as long as it is available to everyone. (I.E. gambling is not available for younger persons, premium message boards, space faerie scratchcards, etc are not available to non-premium members, and nc mall may not be available to all members.) There are as many rounds as it takes to get down to one person, and the last person on the carpet wins!


Gamer Support
The entertainer will post to see who wants to join in a race for neopoints. Anyone who wants to participate places all their on-hand neopoints into their own banks. Then the entertainer chooses a neopets game to play. Each participant (including the entertainer) sends their score on that game once then posts their current on-hand neopoints. Next the entertainer chooses one of the participants to pick the next game. And so on until everyone has had a chance to pick a game. (It can also be played, three scores sent of each game, if you so choose.)


Entertainer's Choice
Can you think of another fun little game? (That is within the T&C, of course!) Submit it to a council member for approval, but feel free to be creative!

Rules & Info

1. You must be Maith Cara rank or higher to participate in 1 NP Auctions.
   
   
2. You must be a Neofriend of shna1234 to participate in the auctions. The auctions are held on that account, too.
   
   
3. Please only bid on one item at a time. If someone outbids you on that item, it is okay to switch items and bid on something different. The idea is to give everyone a fair shot at bidding and winning.
   
   
4. These are 1 NP auctions, so just bid 1 NP at a time.
   
   
5. 1 NP Auctions and other activities are routinely announced in guild mailers, so make sure you are able to receive guild mailers! Your guild mailer setting is disabled by default, so please double-check your setting. To do this go to: My Account - Site Preferences - Check the box that says "Enable Guild Mailings".
   
   
6. New 1 NP Auctions will be up every Friday!
