About Me
Hello!As much as I'd like to say I'm a super fit, beautiful, sporty, amazingly smart person, I have to be honest with you. I'm a nerd who occasionally does sports, is fairly fit, but ugly too. But, of course, this is the internet, so you'll never actually know any of that for yourself. ;3 I'm pretty friendly and nice, so long as you're on my good side. I love to debate and argue (most of the time), so if you'd like to pick a fight with me go ahead. Just don't expect me to quit first. (; Other than that, I'm not really a mean person, and if you'd like to talk to me I'll at least respond, if not try to keep the conversation going.
Hello!Chocolate is one thing I really love. Milk chocolate, not dark chocolate, though; dark chocolate is much too bitter. Once I tried chocolate that was almost 100% cacao, and it was
disgusting. I was running for water and I only had a small piece. Seriously, never try chocolate that dark. As for other things I like, I enjoy writing and drawing, though I'm not particularly good at either. Friends are a big part of my life, both on neo and off.
Hello!As for things I dislike, I hate thieves of any kind. Art thieves, writing/idea thieves, basically anyone who steals anything. Just get your own. o_x; Scammers and spammers are also quite annoying, though I'm sure most of Neopia's population would agree with me on that one. Bees, or really any kind of bug, are not my favorite things either. I scream bloody murder if I see any bug, and I've had several experiences where that happened. Of course, my family will never let those incidences go, but I suppose I'm not too embarrassed. Math--any kind--is another thing that I could easily live without. I know it's useful and everything, but I'd rather not have to learn it. To finish off the list of my dislikes, I hate going to the dentist and dentists scare me. -shudders-
Me on Neopets
Hello!While on neo, I try to do a variety of things. I've done some avatar collecting, along with participating in two plots, but my main focus is my pets. I try to make them all custom designs, pet pages, and pet lookups, however all that is rather time consuming and I don't have them finished yet. Roleplaying my pets is a lot of fun, too, though I don't ever roleplay a pet until their page is at least started. It usually helps to get the story done before roleplaying the pet, because that way I know exactly what my pet's character is. Neofriends are a big part of my neo life, so I try to make new ones and still keep the old. Sorry, I'm jumping subjects a lot, aren't I? D; Well, now we're just a hop, skip, and a jump away from my list of accounts.

Why Me?
Hello!Oh, dear. One of the hardest sections of any application. Why on Neopia should you choose me as Flic's new owner? Honestly, there isn't any particular reason. But I'm going to try to convince us both that there is. x)
Hello!Well, one of the main reasons I think you should choose me is because I'm dedicated to my pets. I don't mean in a way that I can earn a million draiks, and paint all my pets expensive colors, I mean that I work on their pages and lookups as much as I can. I'm usually able to come online every day, so there'll be no neglecting her or any of my pets. There's also weekends and days off, for Christmas break and those sort of things.
Hello!Ever since TNT made it so that when your pets are hungry, they look sad, I've tried to feed them. I just can't stand those sad faces. Now, I'm not doing the cheesy "I'll groom and play and feed and..." thing, mind you, I'm only saying that Flic would most likely be fed every day. Now, as for playing with and grooming her, I'm not sure she'd particularly want me (or allow me) to do either. You know how those Tyrannians are. d:
Why Not Me?
Hello!Hah, here we are at the most depressing part of an application. What's wrong with me, why shouldn't you pick me? There's a lot of stuff, to be honest. I'm sure this might hurt my chances of getting Flic, because I'll be pointing out bad things about myself that you may not have noticed or don't know, but oh well. You've a right to know.
Hello!One major fault I have is that I cannot earn neopoints. I do try, but I'm awful at games, so if someone were to hack my account and change Flic's gender or paint color, it'd take me forever to earn the neopoints to change her back. Or if some freak random event came up that changed Flic, maybe Boochi, again, I'd take forever to earn the neopoints. We'd just have to hope that wouldn't happen, and just in case, Flic wouldn't be my active pet.
Hello!My art also isn't beautiful. I know you said you liked pretty layouts, so I'm sorry about mine. D; I do try on my art, and do my fair amount of drawing, thinking it's good, then the next day look at it and say "What on earth happened to that poor drawing? X_X" then scrap it and start over. Sometimes, I'll be able to draw ten drawings in one day, and the next I'll be lucky if I can draw a scribble equivalent to a preschooler who just got new, glittery crayons. (I had those when I was in kindergarten. Endless fun.) Same with my writing; usually I can write something decent, since writing comes generally easily to me, though art block and writer's block come frequently.
Hello!Let's see, another reason not to pick me is that I wouldn't lend Flic out for the Draik-Hatched avatar. I'm sure that someone else would lend Flic out and make a bunch more happy people, but I just couldn't risk losing her. Even if transfers were used, I've seen a lot of people get scammed and got scammed out of a Chokato (TCG) myself, so it's hard to trust people. Sorry, Flic, but if you came here you'd stay here.
Why Inflicts?
Hello!Why exactly am I applying for Inflicts? What makes her so special? I'm sure you have your reasons for why Flic is special to you, but I would assume I've different reasons than yours.
Hello!One reason I'm applying for Flic is that I've got lots of inspiration for her. Before I thought up a design for Flic, I didn't really have much interest in the Antarctic, though now I often Google pictures to try and get inspiration of a drawing, or at least a better idea of the surroundings Flic would really be living in. (Because I'd assume that the southern white part on Neopia's map is based on Antarctica, where Terror Mountain is based on the North Pole and the Arctic.) I can honestly say that, out of the all the pets I've applied for, this is probably the best application I've done, and I'm the most dedicated to Flic. So far I've applied for a Maraquan Draik, a green Draik, an UC Royalgirl Aisha, and a Royalboy Krawk. Sadly, they've all gone to another home, despite how hard I tried. However, there is a good side: my art has improved lots (you should have seen the art for the Maraquan Draik. Actually, you shouldn't have, otherwise you'd have gone blind.), and I've more experience now.
Hello!I'm still not perfect at making an application, but I've already told you a bunch of my faults back at the 'why not me' section. -shudders- Anyways, Flic is just plain awesome. I don't mean awesome as in the real definition, the one that means in awe of God's creations and all that, I mean in the modern way. A while ago, my Language Arts teacher just went on a rant about how we're not to use "awesome" in our writings unless we mean the real definition...I'm serious. She took like ten minutes out of our class just ranting. It was
scary. Heh, sorry, you probably don't care about what my Languages Arts teacher does and doesn't allow us to say in our writing. Either way, Flic is very cool and I'd never be able to raise enough neopoints to get myself a draik, let alone a Tyrannian one. Even if, by some miracle, I did, he/she still wouldn't be as cool as Flic. Who, really, can match the name?
Hello!Another reason I'm applying for Flic is that I don't see Tyrannian Draiks too often, which makes Flic even more unique. Everyone seems to want Maraquan ones, Faerie ones, or just basic colored ones, but not many Tyrannian ones. So it'd be nice to be unique with Flic's color along with everything else.

Hello!Hah, sorry. Onto the real plans, now. Hmm, why don't we start out with what I
won't do? First of all, Flic will not, under any circumstances, be traded. I mean it; I don't care if you offer me your UC VWN RW whatever, Flic stays with me, whether she wants to or not. (; She also will not be stuffed on a side account and neglected. Another thing I won't do is suddenly decide that I don't want her any more, then put her UFA and give her to some newbie who gets frozen a minute later. I think that's it as to what I wouldn't do.
Hello!Now, onto what I would do. Well, Flic's petpage would never be done. I don't mean that in a lazy way, that I'd be too lazy and unmotivated to ever finish it; I mean that I'd always be adding on. I probably wouldn't have time to add a lot of drawings and tons more of her story all the time, I'd do things more in little bits. A new adoptable here, some more stories there, maybe some art. I do have other pets that need working on, so as I said, I wouldn't be able to do a
ton, but I'd definitely work on it. Flic would be entered in the Beauty Contest at least once, and I'd try to get some trophies for her. Besides BC trophies, I'd also go for other trophies, like the Gourmet Club and the Booktastic Book Award. Along with my other pets, Flic's stats would be trained up, intelligence first, then defense, and so on. Alas, all that costs lots of neopoints, so none of this would be done immediately. But all in good time, I should hope.
