These creatures (still need a name) absorb moonlight in these, like, power-absorbing patches on their backs. They can release this power in many different ways, but usually use it to glow, lighting the ways of travelers/creatures alike, thus being mistaken for stars (which is their nickname).

I mean, you can't NOT love the shape, the way it lives by the ocean, the light that slices through the night, the -headdesk-. *AHem* Anyway, Ignore the VERY bottom of the pic, I forgot it was there, and therefore forgot to do that part. And light looks fake. And the light SOURCE is broken. BUT WHATEVER. DON'T CRITIQUE THIS ONE. IT IS TOO EPIC FAIL TO SPEAK OF. 8XXX

Hey, whaddaya know? I tried a different style of drawing, and something good came of it! I'm not used to sketching little cutesy things, and I kinda like it! Better than the gothic crap I've been doing! These sketches make me feel... happie! =DDD *dances around*
