-::Battledome Help ::-
This guide is designed for
2-players battles only.
To
understand this battledome help, you must understand the concept of
icons. If you know about them already, you can skip this part. There
are different type of icons that an attack weapon can do, and a
defense weapon can block. The types of icons are: earth, physical,
dark, light, air, fire, and water. Some icons are rare, and some
icons are more common. In general, the more icon a weapon does, the
stronger it is, and the more damage it can do. However, in more
advanced battling, the different types of icons become very
important, as you have to take into account which icons are easier
to block than others.
The icons look like this:
- Earth
- Physical
-
Dark
-
Light
- Air
-
Fire
- Water
Random facts:
Some weapons can only be used once per battle. Once per
battle weapon will disappear during the battle after you use them,
but it will be returned to your pet's equipment after the battle is
over.
You can only equip one freezing, one healing, and one
stealing weapon. And there are also a couple weapons out there which
you can only equip one of (example: Honey Potion.

For pets under
level 10
If your pet is under level 10 and does not have nice unbuyable
weapons, watch the status
that you set your quick fight limits at. Level 10 and above pet
might have the ability burrow, and you will have a really hard time if you don't
have burrow to match your opponent. So if you don't have burrow and
you don't have very good weapons, you might want to set your max
level to 9 when you quick fight.
The boosts at this level are 8, 13, and 20. If you have
really weak weapons, or are just starting out, search for another
pet within your strength boost. Example, search for max strength at
12 if your pet has 8-12 strength, search for max strength at 19 if
your pet has 13-19 strength. Search one strength boost above yours
for greater challenge.
Attack weapons suggested:
Obsidian Dagger (2 fire, 3 earth, 1-3 physical)
With not too much risk in the amount of icons and the low price,
this is good for the amount of icons it deals. However, watch out
for the popular scarab ring which totally kills the fire and
physical icons.
Scarab Ring (2 water, 2 dark, 2 physical, defends 3 fire, 3 physical)
The newest popular weapon. This is dirt cheap for the amount of
icons it does and blocks. The only and major downfall is that it's
so popular, it's expected. Leaf shield kills the water and physical
icons.
Mud
Mixture (5 earth, heals 1-5 hit points)
This is a very useful beginner weapon as it both attacks and heals.
Its healing can mean a lot to a low hit points pet. However, it can
only be used once per battle.
Bone Sceptre (2 dark, 2 air, 2 earth)

Extremely cheap 6 icons weapon. While it does not provide the
defense like the scarab ring does, it has the advantage of rare
icons. The popular scarab rings block none of the icons, and unlike
the scarab ring, leaf shield only gets to block two of its icons.
Radioactive
Snow (2 earth, 2 dark, defends some earth and light)
This is a variation of the fire snow below. The snows are best when
packed in sets and if your pet has decent defense. The pro of snows
are that they defense against a variety of icons, but the cons being
that they only block two of each icons.
Fire Snow (2 fire, 2 light, defends some dark and fire)
Good to have along with leaf shield since leaf shield cannot block
neither dark nor fire icons. The attack for this weapon is not
impressive, however, due to the popular scarab ring that will
destroy the fire attack, leaving only two light icons going thru.
Defense weapons suggested:
Leaf
Shield (blocks a good amount of earth, water, and physical icons)
Has been inflated but still a good buy. With the increase popularity
of the scarab ring, this provides excellent defense. It also
provides excellent defense against traditional snowballs, as well as the mud
mixtures.
Large Metal Shield (blocks two icons of air, earth, fire, and water)

This blocks a more variety of icons than Leaf Shield. However, it
only blocks 2 icons of each so it's not much.
Bronze
Scorchstone (Heals 15 hit points)
This is a very good healing weapon for a low hit points pet. It is
very affordable and is a must have. However, it can only be used
once per battle.
Slime Potion (Heals 10 hit points)

This is not as good as the Bronze Scorchstone, but it's definitely
cheaper. It still serves well as a healing weapon. However, it can
only be used once per battle.
Bomb weapons suggested:
Peach
Snowball (3 water, 3 earth, 1-3 physical)
This is a very cheap bomb weapon. It can come in handly because it
does a total of 6.2 to 9 actual icons - probably more than your main attack
weapon. However, this can only be used once.
Icy Snowball (4 earth, 4 water, 1-4 physical)

This is more expensive than Evil Snowball, but no doubt it's
stronger. This weapon does 8 to 11.3 actual icons. However, this can only be used once.
Exploding
Snowball (4 water, 4 fire, 1-4 physical)
This is an alternative to Icy Snowball. This weapon does 7 to 10
actual icons - less than icy snowball, but it's less easily
blocked by Leaf Shield. However, this can only be used once.
Sand Snowball (5 fire, 4 earth)

Stuck between the evil snowball and icy snowball for iconage? This
is extremely cheap and does a solid 9 icons attack. Watch out for
you opponent's defensive items though, as fire and earth are both
commonly blocked icons. However, this can only be used once.
Silver Fernypoo Battlecard (5 air, 5 light)
This battlecard is cheap, does a good amount of icons (8.2 actual), and it all hits through
most defenses, including leaf shield and scarab ring. However, this
can only be used once.
Illusens Earth Potion (6 earth, 1-3
physical)

Don't want to keep buying snowballs? This bomb can be used once per
battle. It does 6.33 to 9 actual icons, so it's about as good as the
peach snowball. Saves you the trouble for buying and equipping a
bunch of snowballs, but for the price, you can thousands of peach
snowballs already. Earth icons are also commonly blocked. |

For pets level 10
-29
If your pet reaches level
10, be sure to get the burrow ability. Burrow ability takes 4
Bottled Earth Faerie to bless your pet with. Burrow blocks all of
earth, air, water, fire, and physical icons. The only icons that
burrow does not block are dark and light icons.
The strength boosts at this level are: 20, 35, and 55. If you
have don't have great weapons, or are just starting out, search for
another pet within your strength boost. Example, search for max
strength at 34 if your pet has 20-34 strength, search for max
strength at 54 if your pet has 35-54 strength. Search one strength
boost above yours for greater challenge.
NOTE!!! At this level, you should make good use of your
ability burrow, and choose your weapons wisely! I've fought numerous
pets which only has weapons that does burrowable icons. Try to get
at least one weapon that does icons which goes through burrow (dark
and/or light icons).
Attack weapons suggested:
Zapatron 2000 (6 light, defends 3 dark)
Priced at around 110k, all of its attack goes
straight through burrow. Not many weapons out there defense well
against light. The dark defense also give this weapon a little more
value.
Scroll Of Dark Nova (3 light, 3 dark)

All icons from this weapon also goes through burrow. It also goes
through the popular scarab ring. It does not
defend against any icon. However, the price is much lower than the
good old Zapatron. A must have budget weapon.
Scroll Of Freezing (100% Freeze, Once per battle, Fragile)
This is currently the cheapest 100% freeze item out there. A freeze
can prevent you from being bombed the 2nd turn by other freezers.
However, this is fragile and it sure is not cheap to keep replacing.
Brain Tree Mace (2 earth, 2 water, 3 physical)

This is a step up the buyable weapons. Currently at the 100-110k
range, it offers one more constant icon than the zapatron. A good
buy while saving up for better weapons.
Dark Battle Duck (3 dark, 5 water)
This is a decent 8 solid icon weapon. Solid upgrade at around the
550k range.
Halo Of Devilpuss (5 dark, 1-5 physical)

Deflation brings this to an extremely good price.
This is a very nice and cheap weapon that can do 5 icons through
burrow, and 6-10 actual icons. Fancy the 230k upgrade?
Ramtors Spellbook (5 dark, 5 light)
This is a popular weapon also used to hit through burrow. It does 10
solid icons and cost less than all other 10 icons weapons.
Tooth Of Terask (3 water, 3 air, defends against 3 dark)

Running into dark icons but doesn't have enough nps for the zapatron
yet? This offer the same amount of dark defense along with 6 icons
attack - same amount of icons as the zaptron! But the only and main
difference is that the burrow ability will completely block this.
Defense weapons suggested:
Shovel Plus (reflects 50% earth)
At this level, you will probably find a lot of pets armed with honey
potion or illusen earth potion, this is a great way to protect your
pet from 50% of the earth icons hit and to reflect the 50% of earth
icons back at your opponent. Hey, even reflecting dual mud mixtures
are fun.
Downsize! (blocks 50% of everything thrown at you)

When you know your opponent is going to launch a big attack on you,
this can be very useful. However, this can only be used once per
battle.
Blue
Scorchstone (heals 30 hit points)
It is important that you upgrade your healing weapon as your pet
gains more hit points. However, this can only be used once per
battle.
Red Scorchstone (heals 20 hit points)
Still buyable. Would be an upgrade from Bronze but it only heals 5
more hit points - might be enough to save you a couple battles, but
better start saving for that blue scorchstone!
Green Scorchstone (heals 40 hit points)
This is probably the best healing weapon you want to go for now
unless you really have extra NPs on hand. However, this can only be
used once per battle.
Cursed Elixir (Drains 20 hit points, 1-4 physical)

This is a very interesting weapon. Not only you heal 20 hit points,
but also your opponent loses 20 hit points, and your opponent cannot
block the drain in any way. If your opponent has less than 20 hit
points, the only thing they can do to avoid getting all their hit
points drained is to heal on the same turn. Watch out for the price
tag though - it's over 2 million.
Bomb weapons suggested:
Sticky
Snowball (5 earth, 5 water, 1-5 physical)
This is one of the most affordable and extremely strong snowball.
It does 8.5 to 12.5 actual icons. However, this can only be used once.
Snow Mudball (5 water, 5 earth, 1-4 physical)

This weapon does 9.5 to 13.5 actual icons, a little more powerful
and expensive than the sticky snowball. However, this can only be used once.
Radioactive
Muffin (5 light, 5 dark, 5 physical)
Solid 15 icons attack, 10 icons through burrow. However, this can
only be used once.
Honey Potion (13 earth, 1-3 physical)
This is one of the most popular bomb. It's semi-affordable, and you
can use it once per battle so you don't have to keep buying one use
bombs. |

For pets level 30
-49
For pets level 30 and up, you should get the ability sink in
addition to burrow. Sink is similar to burrow, only it blocks
different icons. Sink blocks all light, dark, water, fire, and
physical icons. The only icons that sink doesn't block are air and
earth. Sink takes 8 Bottled Dark Faerie to get. On the way to sink,
you also get this neat ability, Drain Life, on the 7th Bottled Dark
Faerie blessed on your pet. Drain Life might proves useful fighting
pet with high hit points, or just to go to Punchbag bob to heal your
pet.
Since your pet is now at higher level with more of your
opponent with burrow and sink, you will need better weapons. The
strength boost at this level are: 55, 85, and 125. If you have don't
have great weapons, search for another pet within your strength
boost. Example, search for max strength at 54 if your pet has below
54 strength, search for max strength at 84 if your pet has 55-84
strength. Search one strength boost above yours for greater
challenge.
Attack weapons suggested:
Spider On A String (6 earth)
This is a cheap weapon that's known to hit through sink with all 6
icons. Upgrade to Dusty Magic Broom if you have the nps.
Wand Of Reality (5 light, 5 air, 3 physical)

With 5 light and 5 air, either 5 icons will hit through either
burrow or sink.
Portable Kiln (11 fire)
Not as popular anymore, but 11 fire icons? Totally not expected!
Air Faerie Crown (3 air, 3 dark, 3 light, defends 5 light)

This weapon can do 3 icon through sink, 6 icons through burrow, and
is a decent constant attack weapon. Very effective defense against
the popular spellbook. This weapon does approximately 8.73 actual
icons (2.73 Air, 3 Dark, 3 Light).
Sword
Of Skardsen (15 dark, 1-9 physical)
This is one well known rich people weapon. It can do 15 icons
through burrow. This weapon does 16.25 - 24 actual icons.
Ghostkersword (8-23 air, 3 dark, 5 physical)

This is the well-known Ghostkersword. It can do a lot of damage if
hits high. All of its air icon (8-23) hits through sink.
Dusty Magic Broom (3 air, 5 earth, defends some light)
This weapon can do 8 solid icons through sink. A nice upgrade from
Spider On A String.
Werelupe Claw (5 dark, 3 earth, 5 fire, 1-5 physical)

This is another popular attack weapon. 5 icons through burrow, 3
icons through sink.
Defense weapons suggested:
Double Dryer (up to 50% air reflect)
When your opponent tries to hit you with a sum of air icons hoping
to bypass sink, this is a cheap reflector that will help.
Ultra Dark Reflectorb (50% dark reflect)
This is very useful against Sword Of Skardsen.
Purple
Scorchstone (heals 50 hit points)
A step up from Green Scorchstone. This is just about the best
scorchstone you want to get for this level. Better scorchstones are
just too expensive. However, this can only be used once per battle.
Everlasting Crystal Apple (heals 30 hit points, multiple use)
This is known as the ECA. Not only you get to heal 30 hit points
continously, you also get to see your opponent's weapons.
Ghostkershield
(defends all dark, 3 air, 5 earth, 3 light, 5 physical)
That's a lot of icons blocked! The defense against all dark is
deadly against the Sword
Of Skardsen. Extremely useful especially if you trained your pet's
defense.
Heavy Robe Of Thievery (defends 2
light, 100% steal)

Note: This weapon needs 200 agility and 100† pet intelligence to
work. 100 pet intelligence is not hard to achieve, with the lab ray
200 agility is a breeze. 100% steal for less than 1 million is a
deal. However, most good battler knows how to put a junk weapon in
their first slot so it's often not worth stealing.
Bomb weapons suggested:
Ghostkerbomb
(10 fire, 10 earth, 1-10 physical)
Popular and deadly bomb. Best when opponent is frozen. Massive
damage! Seasonal
Attack Pea (20 earth, 8 light)

If you can afford this you probably don't need to read this guide :P
But yes, this is a nice bomb indeed. |
