Adopting pets from the Pound, labbing them until they change into a pretty species/colour combo and then adopting them out has been a hobby of mine almost as long as I've been playing Neopets (which is probably longer than you think).

Please read all the rules and consider reading the tips section before sending me a question or your application.

Please also keep in mind that I can do a gender change on any of my fosters and that I will wait for your account to age.

All questions and applications should be sent to my main account.

Please neomail me if you decide that you're no longer interested in my foster after having sent in an application.

I'll take a look at both neomail and petpage applications. If you do decide to write a petpage application, please include a disclaimer somewhere indicating that I did not require you to write one.

Applications will be accepted until midnight NST on the deadline date.

Please list all your accounts and indicate on which account you would like to adopt my foster.

Let me know why you're interested in adopting my foster. What kind of plans do you have for them? Customizing them? Having them feature in a story you've written? Training them for the Battledome? Role playing them? Etc.

Additional Points:

I don't mind if you want to adopt on your main or on a side account.

I don't mind if you're applying for another pet at the same time.

I don't mind if you reuse parts of a previous application. I understand that people grow attached to characters they've created.

Please do not ask me to rate your application. Try the Pound or Help boards for that.

Please don't ask me when I'm going to choose the new owner. I will do so after the deadline.

I will only neomail the person I've chosen as the new owner. It is up to you to check my foster's lookup after the deadline if you haven't received any word from me.

If you've never written an application before, I highly suggest reading the application guides I've listed below.

The rest of this section will focus on what I look for in an applicant and their application.

I appreciate honesty, a lot. If you say that you're going to enter my foster into the Beauty Contest, but there's no evidence that you've done any of that with your other pets, why should I believe you? The same goes for Battledome training, reading books, the Gourmet Club, writing a story, customization, role playing, the list could go on forever.

I will be checking all your accounts, which includes looking at all your pets' lookups and petpages. It would be wise of you to explain the status of all your pets. Are they permanent pets, are they pets you're going to trade, are they pets you're fostering, are you holding them for a friend? Etc.

Play to your strengths! Don't force yourself to do things for your application that you wouldn't do normally (this seems to happen most often with art and poetry). I understand that not everyone is an illustrator or a poet.

Please do not use the word "dreamie" in your application. It makes me cringe every time I read it. I don't mind you using the phrase "dream pet" however. In conjunction with this, please explain why my foster is your dream pet. What about them do you like so much? Their colour, their species, their name?

I don't care much for recommendations, dedications and the like. However, feel free to add them if you wish.

Please, for the love of Fyora, consider running your application through a spellchecker or have someone proofread it for you. Improper spelling and poor grammar makes me want to shed tears of despair.
