Welcome to The Wanderer! This is a pet directory dedicated to all the swashbucklin' scalawags in Neopia! This site was opened on October 18, 2009. It is owned and maintained by Liz aka leharlequin. It is dubbed "The Wanderer" because of all our wandering pirate pets, voyaging across the seven seas!

Nov. 20, 2009 IMPORTANT: This layout is the new layout but I am still in the middle of fixing it up! In other words...the site is under construction!

Nov. 19, 2009 I have been out advertising for the site, trying to get more pets and galleries listed. If you know anyone with a pirate pet or gallery be sure to tell them about The Wanderer! Feel free to advertise all you want! ;)

Nov. 18, 2009 There is a new xweetok listed in the directory as well as one new gallery! Go check both of them out! And I am still working on the new layout so bear with me!

Nov. 15, 2009 The Wanderer has been reviewed by Overlooked reviews and got 87/100 and an award. Also, after suggestions from a couple different people I will be changing the layout of The Wanderer. I am currently working on the new layout and will try to have it up as soon as possible!

Nov. 13, 2009 The site has FOUR new link back buttons! Wow! Two of them were made by The Goodie Box and the other two were made by Sparks of Magic. They all look great! Thanks so much!

Oct. 23, 2009 The Wanderer is now listed at The Faerie Compass, another great site directory! Go check it out! Also, we have had our first review by a site called The Three. Nicole did the review and gave 99/100! Thanks Nicole!!

Oct. 22, 2009 After a massive error that deleted half of the sites contents, almost everything is back up. There are only a couple species of pets still missing from the directory list but I am working to get those back up as soon as possible! You can still ask to have your pirate pet listed if the species is not in the directory. My apologies everyone! In other news, we are now listed at the Four Clovers directory and we have a new affie, Lenny!

Oct. 21, 2009 Check out the new poogle Pirate! He has been added to the directory. And Charlie made a new button for the site! We also got a new Affie, Gnorbus of Gneopia by Becca. Be sure to check out her site! Her Gnorbu, Namiiroo, was also added to the directory.

So you love pirates huh? And you want to be listed on this pirate site? Well that is easily done! Just read the rules, fill out the appropriate forms below, send them to me and I will get your pet/gallery listed as soon as I can!

Rules:
001. Your pet/gallery must be pirate/pirate themed!
002. The pet/gallery you want listed must be on the account you neomail me from. If you want pets/galleries from side accounts listed then neomail me from the side account!
003. If you trade/give away your pet you must neomail me so I can contact the new owner about being listed.
004. *It is not required! but it would be nice if you could link back to me! I list your pet/gallery, you list my site!

how to get a pirate pet

Perhaps the simplest way to get a pirate pet is to buy a Pirate Paint Brush. These brushes can be found at the trading post and occasionally at the Hidden Tower.

Another way to get your very own pirate is to use a Morphing Potion. These potions will change your pet into a pirate but they will also change the species of your pet! They can be found at the trading post or auctions.

The last way, and perhaps the rarest, is to get a Fountain Faerie quest. If you get one of her quests and you complete it, you can paint your pet pirate at the Rainbow Fountain.

Captain Scarblade is one fierce pirate! I would stay out of his way! His favorite thing to do is to destory other pirate ships. Beware!

Garin is the pirate captain of the Black Pawkeet. He is one of the kinder pirates in Neopia. He helped defeat Captain Scarblade during the invasion of Maraqua.

Jacques is first mate of the Black Pawkeet and he spends most of his time getting his best friend Garin out of trouble! He is a very loyal friend and an excellent swordsman. I wouldn't cross blades with this pirate!

Deadeye is an opponent in the game Bilge Dice. He is quite good at the game and quite good at tricking people too! Perhaps you shouldn't try your luck with him...

Monty is another opponent in Bilge Dice. Play against him if you wish but be warned...his nickname is "Monty the Mad"!

Grimtooth is your host as well as an opponent in Bilge Dice. He can be very intimidating but dont lose heart! Some question his actual skill at this game.

Captain Threelegs was once a ferocious pirate but he has traded in his seafairing days for a life of teaching at the Swashbuckling Academy. If you stop by he will be sure to tell you the story of how he lost his leg!
