Sorry guys, noting new today. Reeuuk and I had been using a a Photoshop trial on our new computer. Unfortunately our trial expired today, so we don't have Photoshop on our newest computer, the one with internet. It is going to be hard making graphics on our old computer and then having to transfer them onto this computer. Please bare with us as we figure a better system!

Meh. I'm kind of disappointed today. I tried making a bunch of new Stamps since we haven't made any of those in a LONG time, but I couldn't come up with any funny or witty things to make them of. I ended up with 6 new stamps, but most of them are just "Fan" based ones.
We are almost finished remaking the Bleach lookup section. We still need to make a lookup with your all's favorite Antagonist, Ulquiorra from Bleach was one of them so we may make on of him.

We just had a loss in the family, and we aren't feeling very joyful today. We took the day off from school today, and we are taking the day off from making graphics today. Because we are currently working on replacing all the older userlookups on the site we have decided to close down the Suggestion box for a while. We promise we will still get the "Favorite Antagonist" and "Favorite Female Heroine" lookups up.

So we have officially started our Old Lookup Replacement Project. I added a new page to the site called "Old Lookups" were all our old lookups can be found. XD If you all are wondering what "Old Lookups" I'm talking about they are the ones with our older style of coding. Hopefully we will get all of those replaced with nicer more modern ones soon. The first one we have replaced is a Bleach one featuring Rukia. Hope you all like it!

Plans:
So what are you all doing for Halloween? Reeuuk and I are taking out 4 of my little cousins Trick-or-Treating. Our friend will also be coming with us, as well as my brother. I'm dressing up as a Hula Girl, Reeuuk as a Pirate and our friend as a Sailor. So they are kind of connected, with the whole sea theme. We're also trying to get my brother to dress up as a Life Guard. XD Before Trick-or-treating though the four of us will be going to see Saw 6!! We wish you all a fun Halloween, remember to stay safe!

Que pasa? So I have 4 wonderful One Piece icons for you all today. I have really been trying to make more icons for you all. I have a batch of 6 more icons for you all as well, but those will wait till tomorrow or later. So my sister and I were talking about the next project we should do for Futago, so we came up with TWO! We first want to replace all our older userlookups, the ones with our older coding, and make more modern ones. But don't Fret! We will not be taking those lookups completely off the site. Secondly:
We have noticed a few sites using our userlookups as petpages, and there have been a few people who have come to us asking if they can use them as petpages, therefore we have decided to start coding our userlookups as petpages as well. Of course we have no set dates as too when we will start or finish these projects.

The Art Trading feature to the site has been going great! We've already made two trades, have one in the process, and we are waiting to here back from someone else. We finished our second trade yesterday, Reeuuk and I were very amazed at what beautiful work ladydaqiao made for us! She portrayed Reeuuk and I as neko girls, dressed in lacy outfits. She got us just right too! Our hair is perfect, our eye colors just right, and she even added glasses which just makes the neko girls look so much like us! Wow! We've gotten quite a few submissions for the Suggestion Box. So far there is a 4 way tie. o.O Something I would like to bring up about when you submit a suggestion is that I don't really like it when people submit a suggestion and I can't contact them back because they have their neomails blocked to only friends. Personally I think that's a bit sketchy, and somewhat rude. I mean it isn't fair that you can message me but I can't message you. If you do send in a suggestion I would prefer it if you turned that preference off. Sometimes I need to message you back because you might of not give me sufficient information and I may need clarification.
Mroom Award:
Reeuuk sketched out a new Mroom Award for the site. For those of you who don't know, the Mroom Award is an award we give out to sites Reeuuk and I think deserve some recognition for their hard work. We gave out the award to a few sites as well. Check out the "Our Award" section at the "Site" page for a list of the sites we gave it out to. Congrats guys!

A Lookup for Your Art
Reeuuk and I recently got a neomail from an amazing artist here on neo called cosmicprinceryuusei. She came to us asking if we could make her a custom lookup and in return she offered to make us a custom drawing. It was the first time anyone had come to use with a request like this, but we though it was an excellent idea. We accepted her and made her her very own userlookup, and she made us a beautiful picture of Reeuuk and I as cats! So we decided to open up this opportunity for everyone else! New Anime
So we added a new anime series: Azumanga Daioh. It took me a while to make this first lookup for it. At first the color scheme was light greens and yellows, but I didnt like it. So I tried making it have a darker color scheme and there you have it! I'm gonna try to make at least 3 more for Azumanga Daioh and then add a whole other new series.

I was busy all day revamping my site Shibuya Station. I made a new layout for it and everything. n.n Well all in all it means we have nothing new for you all today. BUT, Reeuuk just made a new Azumanga Daioh lookup, so hopefully we'll be able to put that up tomorrow. I did a small affie clean up, I didn't remove any sites other than ones that had closed down. One of which was Cass' review site. I've actually noticed that she tends to make a lot of sites but never seems to stick to them, which is a shame really.
P.S. I changed the Suggestion Box question. Thanks to all of you who submitted all those suggestions! We'll try to keep in mind that you guys want more dark lookups. ;)

Wow! I never blog anymore, its always Tenshi, hehe but anyway, I had made a Vampire Knight lookup about two days ago. I finished coding it and Tenshi put it up!! So we have a new Vampire knight lookup, it features Zero, Yuki and Kaname. I hope you all like it.
Add new Anime
I'm thinking of adding some new Anime series to our lookup section, but i don't know which ones yet. Maybe ill add some Blood +, or Cowboy Bebop, or who knows!! =P Ill have to look into some images.

I made 6 new Counter Bases. I thought I should add some with an Autumn/Halloween theme to them so I made 4 Halloween ones (Witch, Skeleton, Jack-o-Lantern, and Frankenstein) and two Autumn ones (Fall leaves, and Turkey). I think I'm getting better at making pixels!
Vamps!
We haven't forgotten that you guys asked us to add more Vampire Knight lookups to the site. We have one Vampire Knight lookup coming soon. As for the current suggestion question I would still LOVE to get mare submissions for it. It helps us a lot to know whether you guys like the dark lookups or the colorful lookups.

So Futago was reviewed at Crystal Clear, and we didn't get as good a score as we were hoping for. We got a 90/100, which is pretty bad considering what other sites are on there and the fact that they go better scores than us.
Firs off, we were taken points off because our layout "doesn't give off a professional impression...". Well, what does a "professional" layout look like? If by professional she means the standard 2-3 column CSS layouts with an overly simple banner like EVERYONE else has, then I would say "No, Futago doesn't have that." I think that what she sees as professional is something more formal, like something sites like Directories would have. But seeing as this IS a graphics site the "impression" would be different. Thus the layout is more graphics oriented rather than CSS oriented. I would say that Futago has an advanced layout, that only sites with high graphic abilities could make.
We also got points taken off because, "The banner quality is reasonable, although not very smooth and crisp." Yes, well I think that's because we actually added affects to the banner. Instead of just cropping a simple image and adding text to it, which anyone can do. A big part of graphics making is using textures and affects (which is something we learned from Yume, owner of Otaku Works).

Its really a shame its not an anime. Well I'm really happy with the way it turned out. I started this without any idea on how I would set it up, but I think it looks great. XD

I made a new site layout for Futago, its not up yet though. XD I made it ALL by myself! Its actually the first site layout I make for Futago (Reeuuk makes most of them). I'm exited to see what you all think of it. I'll try to code all the pages soon!

Flu shots and Counter Bases:
I got my Flu Shot today at school, so my upper arm is really sore. :/ I'm glad I got it though, they gave the College students a ten dollar discount on it so all we had to pay was $10! XD Anyway, on to some real Futago related news. We STILL haven't gotten Photoshop for our new computer, but we still have it in our old one. Although we can't do much like that I managed to make you guys some new Counter Basses.

We still haven't gotten Photoshop for our new computer, but we will try to get it sometime this week. This new position glitch is really affecting everyone, Kaz, Ceeney, Yume, and Enna. Reeuuk and I are really lucky that the glitch doesn't affect our lookups, but we're really just waiting for something more to change. I'm not to confident with the new filter changes, we're just waiting for another change that WILL affect our lookups. I'm hoping that everything goes back to before the glitch, that way eveyones lookups and petpages work.

So I have good news and bad news today. The good news is that Futago is the 8th Top Site at Somersault! We got an award to go along with our position. Check out the site to see who else is on the Top 10.
The bad news is that I just got a new computer yesterday. Yeah, its great and all, but this means that all my files and programs are on my old computer, so I don't have Photoshop for now. This means we can't make any graphics until we get it on this computer. Hopefully we'll get it by tomorrow!

My sister and I found a way to incorporate individual pokemon onto lookups. We don't have to stick to the more elite ones, and its a really cool way pokemon are depicted. Check out the newest Pokemon lookups to see what I'm talking about. We easily have about 20 pictures with pokemon like that, now although we wont use ALL of them I think we can make quite a few.

So my sister and I found a walk-around to that pesky new position glitch. Its a fairly simple "fix" so if TNT does decide to change it it will be fairly easy to put back. Ill try to fix up all our petpages. This ones fixed! XD Luckily the position glitch doesn't seem to affect our userlookups, so those will stay as is, you all should be able to keep using those!

Happy October! Remember how we promised you all Pokemon lookups? No? Well, we did, and the first one is up for you guys to use! As of now we are not sure how we want to go about doing this Pokemon section. I think we want to stay with making them featuring Trainers rather than featuring individual pokemon. There are just too many pokemon out there to make lookups of. If we do make ones with pokemon we will try to stick to the more elite ones (like Mew, Mewtwo, or Lugia), rather than the basic ones. So don't expect any Piplup, or Bulbasaur or Squirtle lookups.

So before I opened Stamp requests I had been getting a few neomails asking when I was going to open them. I though to my self "Gee, I guess there are a lot of people that want to request stamps." So I opened them, but no one has requested any. This makes me sad, it also make me think most people just want things when they are out of reach. Anyway, they'll stay open for a bit longer.

I just closed and finished button requests. I got a total of 10 requests in this round, I really hope the people I made them for like them. XD Quite a few people have been asking when Stamp requests will be open, so I decided I would open them now! We haven't had them open in a while, and I'm in the mood for making stamps. n.n

So Reeuuk was finally able to finish that 4th Toradora lookup, and I was finally able to recode my Toradora lookup. Therefor the Toradora section is finally complete (well for now)!! I'm currently working on rendering a Pokemon image. I really like that image, so I'm hoping I can come up with a cool lookup to go along with it.
Suggestion:
The Suggestion Question is coming along great, the obvious choice as of know is Vampire Knight, with three votes. I still want to leave that up though and see what else we can get.

Something I've never really understood about taking in button requests is that we get a lot of Button Request sites requesting buttons. It's sort of weird really. I mean, can't they make their own buttons? Is it that they are to busy making other peoples buttons they can't make their own? Or is it like a compliment? Do they think the buttons we've made are nice enough to request? Who knows. *shrugs*

Wow, like I just put up five new icons, and let me just say that they are so amazingly awesome, its insane. =.= Haha. Anyway, yeah I just put up 5 new icons, 4 Death Note ones, and one Fruits Basket one. I'm trying to add more to the smaller sections, I just downloaded a bunch of new icon textures (its a nasty habit) so I'm hoping to use some of those. That's about it for today, I still have to recode that Toradora lookup I accidentally deleted.

Futago was picked to be the Featured Site of the Week at Waterfall. It's a review site hosted by Panda, its her first time doing the Site of the Week feature and I guess she deemed our site worthy of it. XD Thanks Panda! Aside from being featured in her site we will also be getting an award!
College:
So I really haven't done much since school started besides stay at home and work on the site and my homework. I really just want to get out of the house and chill with my sister and best friend. You know, talk about girl stuff, like Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, and make dumb Twilight references (we all sort of have this love hate thing going on with Twilight). My friend is really into Photography, its what shes majoring in, and Reeuuk and I are really into graphics design, so we really fit together. I'd love to go see a movie this weekend, here's hoping for a fun weekend!

I finally saw the movie 300 the other day. It was weirder than I thought it would be. I didn't expect it to be so full of mythology and fantasy like that, I thought it would center solely on fighting. The fighting scenes were really awesome, though I thought the movie as a whole needed better narration and transitions. The weirdest scene for me was when they showed some goat playing a flute o_O
New Stuff:
So on to actual site news. I added a new Toradora lookup (made by me) and 5 Soul Eater icons (also made by me). I was supposed to put up a completely different Toradora lookup... but I accidentally deleted the code. So now I need to recode it, but I really don't feel like doing that right now. I'll do it later. n.n

So we dedicate this layout to him. n.n With the new site layout we decided to add a section under the Suggestion Box that shows what suggestions we have received.

SUCCESS!!!! I finally fixed ALL of the lookups! They should all be working fine with the new filters! If you do come across problems, whether the lookup doesn't get you past the filters or if the lookups set up is a little off please tell me. Although they should work fine.
Suggestions
I'm still hoping on getting more of those suggestions in. I have gotten a few, but the week is still young, so go crazy with that, send in more than one series if you want.
I'll look into Pokemon images for those upcoming lookups, but as I said before, I will be trying to make a new site layout before really getting into any new lookups.

I changed the Suggestion question, the last question was very helpful, we have decided to add a Pokemon Lookups section. I wont say when those will be ready, because I don't even know when we'll get working on those. We have other things to work on. The first being the lookups, they currently DO NOT work with the filters, but as I stated before, we do know how to fix them and we will try to fix them ASAP. The second thing we want to get to working on is a new site layout. Reeuuk started one yesterday, and its looking pretty good. We thought the site needed a new look, especially after this long glitch thing we had going on.

Yay! Our first Toradora lookup! It's the first of a few we've made. I've made two others, Reeuuk made this first one, shes SUPPOSED to make a second one, but she hasn't yet, we'll see if she does end up making one. We haven't been doing much besides making lookups for you guys. I'm not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing, seeing as we've neglected making icons or siggys. I have a file full of Soul Eater screen shots that I've been saving up to use for icons, but I haven't gotten to it yet.

We have a 3rd K-ON! lookup for you guys today, just as we promised we would. n.n We have a 4th one coming soon, its coded and everything already, but we'll save that one till later. The one we have today was made by me! I had a little help from Reeuuk, she added maybe 2 layers to it, but I made almost all of it! The next series we are hopping to bring to the site is Toradora. Toradora was tide with K-ON! in the past suggestion period. I'm still not convinced with this Suggestion period. All in all we got 13 suggestions sent in, one character did get suggested twice, but I don't feel like it was significant enough. We'll go threw our list and see which character we'd like to make a lookup of. For now, we changed the question back to the anime series one, that one was more helpful for us. n.n
