Hello there!
Let me introduce myself, I'm Lhilea, or Lilly in short. I'm the Artful Dreamers' Guild Mascot and very proud of it too!
My job here is to tell you everything about the Guild and it's Contests. The Q&A is really useful and if you have a question that isn't in the list, just drop a Neomail (or simply ask around on the Guild Message Board) and I'll answer it as soon as I can.
I also have a couple of Banners that you can use. ^^ If you made a Banner yourself, just tell me and I'll put it up here aswell.

The Guild holds regular Art Contests. The theme of these Contests is different every time. You can use all media you want, if it isn't digital, you can make a picture or scan it in. When you finished your picture, upload it somewhere, anywhere you want and send a link of the picture to Rolo. When the deadline is over, all entries will be displayed on MusicalHugs Petpage, without the username displayed. Then every Guild Member can caste a vote for which he or she thinks is the best entry. We'll make sure that they all get a number, so send another neomail to Rolo, now including which entry has your vote. After a week, the winners will be announced and a new Contest will start.

Our guild also has an Adoption Agency called ADAA (Artful Dreamer's Adoption Agency). Guild members that have pets up for adoption can put their pets up here, but ofcourse you don't have to be a guild member to adopt these pets.
Once a pet is in the ADAA, you can link towards the page or directly towards where you pet is on the page. To do this simply use this link:

and change -petsname- to the name of your pet.
If you would like to put your pet in the ADAA, please send a neomail to Auroran containing the following information:
The pet's name.
Petpage or Neomail application.
Rules and requirements for the application.
Your pet will then be put up as soon as possible.

Whats an Q&A?
Questions and answers! Or Commonly Asked Questions!
What is your Guild about?
Its an art based guild, hence the name. But we dont talk about art non-stop! We encourage people to chat about other things as well as post for critics, help and votes on art. Mostly we try to be friendly!
Who runs the guild?
Now this could be explained in two ways. If you were to look at the highest guild member you would see 00_Vespa owns the guild, however it is run with 2 other people, Darkwitchypieface and me, Rowenas. We created the guild together and run it all together, it just happens to be on 00_Vespa's account.
Is the guild active?
Extremely so! Our guild is run by 3 people! Come for a chat, only on very rare occations we all wont be here!
So what is there to do in the guild?
Our guild runs regular art contests, Pet of the month (or POTM for short), have newbie packs, give birthday presents, guild shop and always a friendly chat!
Does the guild have an account?
Yes, it does! The account artful_dreamers is our guild account, it holds the newbie packs, guild shop and it holds Lhilea.
Who's Lhilea?
Lhilea or Lil is the guild mascot. We just painted her Sketch to match our Guild!
What is the ranking system in the guild?
The ranking system is symple! Everyone starts out as a crayon and they work themselves up from there. To gain a higher rank you will need to do the following:
Dreamer: 50 posts and/or 1 donation and/or entered an art contest.
Sketcher: Be Dreamer,150 posts �2 donation and/or entered the art contest 2x.
Painter: Be Sketcher, 300 posts �3 donations and/or entered the art contest 3x.
Artist: Be Painter, 500 posts �4 donations and/or entered art contest 4x.
(You might even get a prize for going up in rank!)
What do I have to do to be in the guild?
Currently the guild is not private! Anyone may join but it may be best to join if you like art!
What do I have to do to enter the Art contest?

What is the voting system?
We have decided to make voting for the art contest available to everyone! Votes alone decide who win! To cast a vote simply send a neomail to Rowenas with the header 'Art contest vote' and the number of the art your voting for and it will be applyed to the voting system!
How do I enter POTM?
All you need to do is write a story about your pet and put it on your petpage, then send a neomail one of the council and you will be entered into the contest.
Who judges the the contest?
The council judge the contest. This is because people may specifically vote for a pet so a person wins.
How is the contest judged?
It is judged on the depth (how funny, how sad, how welformed...) the story is, thought the presentation and having pictures may help.
Are there any guild rules?
Of course but they are simple ones to keep the guild happy!
1. Be considerate to others at all time, failing to keep this rule will result in warnings and finally deletion from the guild.
2. No spamming the guild boards, keep the board a pleasant place to be in. Your feeble 'bumps' dont matter because it does not gain any attention, it will result in the spamming being deleted and you gaining yourself a warning. Failure to stop spamming will get you deleted from the guild.
3.No unappropriate languaguage, this is simply unexceptable because it also breaks Neopets Chat Rules. Again you will get warnings and may be deleted from the guild if it continues.
4. No cheating, this may seem a strange rule but please do not give out info on your Art contest entry on the boards, we keep them numbered for a reason! The post with the information will be deleted and you will be given a warning.
