Pets have been updated; a lot were owned by an owner who was frozen.

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Juicy Jellies!
Please feel free to browse around as you wish.
But first let me give you a short introduction...

Juicy Jellies was founded by me, Rani, on 26th day of Relaxing, Y10 (June 26th, 2008).
The soul inspiration of this pet page is my Jelly Grundo, Leokitam. She was given to me by a very generous neopian who saw my love for Grundos. I readily adopted her and fell in love in a heart beat. She oozed personality. I suddenly felt inspired by her unique jelly color and decided to create an entire pet page dedicated to my new fascination.

The purpose of Juicy Jellies isn't much more than a creation to let out an obsession with jelly. Although nothing fancy, this pet page offers information, games, pretty pictures, and a bit of fun :)
Also provided on this page is a directory of many Jelly Neopets in Neopia. We hope one day to have the opportunity to list them all! Those who have jelly pets, and who are interested, and encouraged to use our submission form to have their pet placed in the list.

Please enjoy your stay here. On your way out, feel free to take one of our buttons to link back to us.
Also, if you wish to be affiliated with our site, simply neomail me with your request.

Have fun, and don't eat too much jelly!

I bet you're now wondering how you can get your hands on your own delicious and squishy jelly Neopet.
There is actually no way to paint your pet Jelly. Don't worry, you can still get your Jelly pet; it just requires other methods, which I will now explain.

The first way to get a Jelly Pet, is by zapping it with the lab ray. For this you need to obtain the Secret Laboratory Map.

How do I get the Secret Laboratory Map?.. There are nine pieces of the lab map for you to collect. As you are buying them, you can keep checking back here to see what pieces you have got, and how many are left.
Several ways to get the pieces are available, including Random Events, the Shop Wizard, Trading Post, and Auctions.

Random Events:

These events are rare, but DO happen. In the case of this specific random event, it will give you one of the nine pieces of the Secret Laboratory Map. The piece it gives is totally random.

This is what the random event will look like:

When you see this, the piece that is shown in the picture will be automatically added to your inventory.

Hint: Put your lab map piece into your Safety Deposit Box as soon as you receive it. This way it will be out of the Pant Devil's reach.

Shop Wizard:

If you don't feel like you have enough patience to wait for random events, you can always purchase the pieces yourself.
I find that the Shop Wizard is a great way to buy the less expensive pieces, because it is fast and you can find good prices. Often there are people who under-price the item, meaning they sell it for much cheaper than it is really worth. If you are fast enough, you may be able to buy the item and save lots of NPs!

Please note that not all of the pieces are available to buy at the Shop Wizard, because they cost over 100k (100,000 NPs).

Trading Post:

The trading post (or TP) is one of the most helpful ways to purchase the Secret Laboratory Map pieces. The reason for this being that you can buy all nine at once, instead of purchasing them all individually. That's right! You can get the whole map in just one purchase! The only downside is you have to wait for the owner to accept your offer, which could take a couple days.

Currently the prices for buying all nine pieces are ranging from 800k-1300k (800,000-1,300,000 NPs) on the Trading Post.

If you do not wish to buy all nine pieces at once, you can purchase them individually on the TP as well. This is much like buying them off of the Shop Wizard, except it can take longer, and also you can offer items instead of Neopoints if you so desire.

Auctions:

This is the final, but not any less important, way of purchasing the pieces of the Secret Laboratory Map. Like the Shop Wizard, you can only purchase one at a time, and you cannot offer items for it. Instead you can place bids on the item that's at hand.

After you search for Secret Laboratory Map in the Auction Genie (link above) you will see a list of all the pieces that are currently up for auction. You may bid on as many as you like.
Sometimes you can get lucky and auction on an item that is low priced, and win. However, you must watch out for auction snipers; people who sit and watch everyone bidding, placing their bid at the last second so that they win the item.

Buying items from the auction house can take a bit of practice, but after awhile it becomes easy, and you can get some really great deals on your map pieces!

I have all nine pieces. Now what?.. To access your new Lab Ray, click here.
Now you can zap your pets!

The hard part is over, but now you have to exercise all of your patience, because getting the perfect zap can take a very long time.
You can only zap your pet once per day. A zap from the lab ray can change your pet's gender, stats, color, or species.

Hint: Only some Neopets species can be turned Jelly. Make sure the pet that you're zapping is able to do so. To check if yours can, go to the rainbow pool.

It could take one zap, or as many as five hundred to turn your pet into jelly. However, I, and many other jelly owners, can confirm that it IS worth the wait. So just be patient. :)

The second way to get a Jelly Pet, is by getting a quest from the Fountain Faerie

How do I get a quest from the Fountain Faerie?.. This beautiful Faerie is rarely seen. She comes to visit neopians at complete random, and when she does, she will give you a quest. The items that she asks for range from a couple thousand neopoints, to a couple HUNDRED thousand neopoints. But to many, doing her quest is completely worth it, because she lets you take a visit to her rainbow fountain. When you complete her quest, go back to visit her and she will let you paint one of your pets. All colors are available except for Royal, MSP, Ice, Sponge, or Robot.
Yes, this means you can paint your pet Jelly by completing one of her quests! Choose any pet that you wish to paint - just make sure you check the Rainbow Pool to make sure that they CAN be painted Jelly ;)

The third way to turn your pet into Jelly is by.. Going fishing!

I can get a Jelly pet by going fishing?.. Yep! When you take your pet fishing, you have a chance of reeling in a very magical item, called a Flask of Rainbow Fountain Water. Be patient though; It's a very rare catch.

Ooh, look how pretty!

If you fish up this spectacular item, you can use it on your pet and he/she (if Jelly is one of their colors) might turn into Jelly!
Using Flasks of Rainbow Fountain Water is a delicate art, and will test your patience, and may cause complete and utter frustration. So, to help you out, I am posting a very spectacular research/FAQ page all about this magical item.

The information on this guide is very helpful, so be sure to check it out!
Good luck, and happy fishing!

The color 'Jelly' for Petpets, much like Neopets, cannot be painted on. To turn your Petpet into a Jelly Petpet, you must zap it with the Petpet Lab Ray until it turns into the squishy goodness that you desire. Jelly is a color for these little critters that can ONLY be received from the Lab Ray, and nothing else.

So how do I get the Petpet Lab Ray?.. The first thing you need to do is to buy the "normal" Lab Ray. Yes, the one for Neopets. You cannot use the Petpet version with out the original. Once you have acquired the Secret Laboratory Map you may then purchase the Petpet Laboratory Map to obtain the Jelly Petpet that you desire.

*For information on obtaining the Secret Laboratory Map (for pets) please see the Gettinga Jelly Pet section.

Purchasing the Petpet Lab Ray
Fortunately for you, the Petpet Laboratory Map is very cheap. Like the Secret Laboratory Map, the Petpet lab ray pieces can be purchased individually, or you can buy them on the trading post all together.
When purchasing the full map at once, the prices run from about 6k-10k NPs (6,000-10,000 neopoints) on the trading post.
If you wish to buy the pieces separately, you can use the trading post or (what I recommend) use the Shop Wizard to help you find some cheap ones. A lot of times on here you can find great deals when people under price their items.

Hint: Although buying the Petpet Lab Ray at once can be quicker, sometimes it can be cheaper to purchase the pieces individually.

After you buy the Petpet Lab Ray, you can use it here.

Continue Zapping your Petpets as you would your Neopet on the normal lab ray. Keep hoping for that lucky zap to turn your Petpet into Jelly! It's a rare zap because currently only a few Petpets can be that color. But with determination and patience (along with a dab of luck) you will finally get your delicious Petpet.

..And TA DA! Congratulations on your new Petpet!
Just don't let anybody eat it ;)
