Welcome
Well hello there! This is a site made by Grey, called Flower fields, as you may have guessed. This site isn't a graphics site. Or a button request site. Or an adoption agency. It's none of the above.
Flower fields is a site that teaches Neopians what to do in real life. I know that sounds a little weird, but it's true! By using this site, and the tips that we provide, you'll be able to learn how to make your garden more attractive to wildlife, such as bees, butterflies or other insects. Even the simplest things can help, so why not take a look at how you can improve your garden to make it nature friendly?
How can you help
Place plants that attract beneficial insects in your garden. Some common plants that attract beneficial insects include angelica, bee balm, buckwheat, calendula, candytuft, ceanothus, chervil, cilantro, clover, daisy, dill, erigeron, evening primrose, fennel, and goldenrod.
A huge 75% of flowers and crops are pollenated by bees and other insects. Sadly, the number of bees is rapidly declining, and without bees we would be able to grow much of our food! Help them along, and look into being a bee keeper. Highly rewarding, as you get the wonderful honey whilst knowing you're helping the bees!
Love butterflies? Plant some Buddliea, and they'll be all over it in no time! If you're wondering, the background image is of Buddliea. ^-^
If you don't want to plant Buddliea, try Purple Sprouting Broccoli. I myself discovered, by chance, that butterflies go crazy over it. They use it to lay their eggs on, and then the catterpilars eat it. I planted only three broccoli plants last year, and the result was hundreds of butterflies fluttering around my garden!
Try and keep some nettles in your garden. Sounds strange, but many types of insect are attracted to them, including bees.
