Rayinte doesn't really have a website yet. Well, she has one, but it stinks. She told me though, to reserve a spot for a link to it on my site. I told her I'd think about it. Rayinte also says that since the rest of her pets get websites, she's going to make a website devoted to her feline companion, Nebula. Donna and Adam save us all!!

A picture of Laoul

Hiya! My name is Laoul, formerly the Lunatic Lupe and now a Draik. Just a few minutes ago I turned 103863 hours old! guest, you should get me a present!!

Shortly after the Gardens were released, Ray started building them like a plant fiend. She even submitted an article to the Neopian times. It was actually published!!! About a dozen random people asked to be her neofriend... but most of them backed down after a few mean growls.

She wouldn't let me scare away the people who sent her a polite Neomail though. *sigh* How am I supposed to be a good attack-lupe if I can't scare away people who I find annoying? Ray seems to like them, and Chalcedony is adoring the attention. There's something wrong with that Kadoatie.

Since Ray is such a plant freak though, she let each of us have a garden or two. Khreet, who likes playing in the dirt as much as a Lupe, can only handle one garden, because she's also our shopkeeper, but Laouja and I both have two patches. Rhapscallyon is thinking about claiming one of the gardens, maybe she'll take over the "Just A Garden" patch. I think she'd take very good care of the campground.

My Friendship Garden!

My most popular garden is the Friendship Garden.

What is a Friendship Garden? Well. The rules are pretty simple, and anyone can make one. The only plants that may go into a Friendship Garden are plants that have been donated to it. It's generally a good policy to send a plant of similar value in return!

We've stopped actively seeking plant trades. If you *really really* want to do a Friendship Garden trade with us, and if the plant you're interested in giving isn't already in the garden, contact Ray!

My best and most fun garden is my Hedge Maze. It's full of Spiky Bushes! The limit for plants was about 24 pr so, after that I just couldn't save the arrangement, and I sort of sold off the extra Spiky Bushes. It's not as complicated as I wanted it to be, but I think the message is understood. It's a nice place and if I ever get a really cool plant, I'll probably have it as the official centerpiece.

The biggest problem with the Maze was that it's very hard to lay out with only the one view of the Garden. I have pretty good depth perception, but I can't tell how far apart some things are. I would prefer an optional overhead view for layout purposes, but I suppose it will do for now.

I figure now with the Medieval World coming out, Hedge Mazes might become a "fad." But then, I'm really lousy at history so maybe Hedge Mazes were from some other era. I'm fairly sure it was the Middle Ages though. I don't know anyone else with a hedge maze though, and I made mine as soon as the Gardens were released...

Defenders of Neopia

Since I'm rayinte's oldest pet, I'm also her strongest pet. Well, that's not always the case, but in mine it is true! I don't visit the Lab Ray, most of my strength comes from Coltzan's Shrine, Quests, and lately, a steady series of courses (most particularly in ENDURANCE) at the Training School.

I take care of all of Ray's fiercest opponents. It was so funny that the Pant Devil was the first opponent in Defenders of Neopia... since I had already defeated that stinky thing about a dozen times, it seems. What else has there been? Ahh. The Ghost Lupe and Cave Chia!

The Pant Devil

I beat the Pant Devil in about two hits. Whoop de doo. Ray is still getting Neomails right and left about each of the Defenders opponents, so we made this little informative area.

Oh. Ray tells me I forgot to mention the way you FIND the Pant Devil. It's really insanely easy. All YOU have to do is wander around the site. Eventually, you'll get a Random Event, and the Pant Devil will pop up and steal something from you. When that happens for the first time, he'll become a Battledome Challenger.

It doesn't count if he steals something from you as a result of the Wheel of Mediocrity. Too bad about that, but oh well.

Several weeks ago, the Pant Devil was caught sleeping at the Money Tree. This has never happened before. Perhaps he will be caught napping in other places.

The Ghost Lupe

The Ghost Lupe was pretty hard to beat. I had to try five times. We managed to bring it to a draw twice though, which convinced me that I really did have what it takes to take him down... I just wasn't using my skills properly. Some of the items I used are described in Ray's lookup, but I guess some people want details! My items are listed below!

Oh. You want to find him too? Doh. Follow these instructions to find him:
Go to Pet Central
Go to Neohome
Go to Neighbourhood
Select "Neopia Central
And then "Soup Alley
Then look up the address 131. You might need to refresh a few times.

If you want the quick way, this link should work: -invalid_words- To the Ghost Lupe ... but it's more fun to take the long way!

The Cave Chia

This delightful Chia was a barrel of fun. He couldn't hit me very hard for some reason, and I kept using Defend as my "ability." The brute went down with just one attempt, and I was still at half health!!!

He's at Cave Paintings Page 2

Meuka

Meuka was THE absolute most difficult opponent so far! It took about seven tries, and Ray spent a TON of NP on "One use only" items to help out. We took him down mostly with Yellow Clockwork Grundos and one Snow Mudball! The thing that makes him so hard is that he uses some very strong muffins. Use items that defend against Darkness attacks!!!

It is kind of hard to find him though, here are the instructions:
Wait until one of your pets gets sick.
Go to your pet lookup. If your pet has the proper disease, Meuka will issue a challenge.

The disease I know for sure is The Sneezles, which is given out at the Wheel of Excitement. It's not that rare, I've had the Sneezles twice in two weeks! The other disease that I hear also works to find Meuka is The Neoflu

My Equipped Items
Bag of Infinite Neggs (This vanished during my third bout with Meuka)
Grand Lightning Beam (Pretty useful against most opponents
Expert Bow (not a hard-hitter, but it does decent damage usually)
Slime Potion (heals only 10, but then, I only have 40 hitpoints...)
I also have several "One Use" items. I've started to use Clockwork Grundos lately, they're fairly inexpensive (Holiday Gifts last winter, averaging under 2000 NP, fairly good bang for buck, Ray says. What's a buck?) Snowballs are "decent;" I'm a fan of the Exploding sort. Snowballs are also incredibly cheap!!!
I'm planning to try an Exploding Pizza Pasty next time around, and I'm always on the lookout for new weapons!

I do NOT fight other pets though, so please don't challenge me. You see... I'm absolutely terrified of Chias, even if other Lupes love to eat them... so if someone used a Chia Flour on me I'd probably go crazy and hurt something. I also don't like fighting without a good reason. I'll bite you if you offend rayinte, but I don't really have anything against your pets!

If any Faeries out there want to learn the Chicken Dance, be sure to contact me. I teach Faeries for free, but anyone else needs to pay 1 piece of Streaky Bacon. I'm a Chicken Dance Expert, and have had two years' experience teaching it!

Okay. By now, I hope you guys know the drill. Every single image on this site, including the background, was created by Rayinte. All of the HTML and all of the Content was also written by Rayinte. She also came up with the idea for my "Friendship Garden."

I don't want to bite anyone, but if Rayinte finds that someone "borrowed" one of her images without permission, she will be most upset, and I bite people that make Ray mad. The "Friendship Garden" idea is free, I encourage everyone to start one... but the rest of it is
