Well Hey There

The sun shines down warmly on you as you stroll through the rocky beach. Instead of sand, you walk across pebbles and debris from the nearby greenery. The gentle crash of the waves meeting the shore transfixes you, and you stare out at the turquoise sea, marvelling at its beauty.

Well hey there! a voice says to you, breaking you sharply out of your trance.

You whirl around and see a maroon-furred Xweetok with red hair and bright green eyes. Two small fangs portrude from its upper lip, giving it a strange, child-like appearance.

So nice to see ya. I don't often meet others on a stroll through the beach. Which is kinda surprising. I mean, lotsa people like the beach after all. The voice is deep and very feminine, complete with a 'Southern' accent. Despite the impression this Xweetok's fangs give off, this female is definitely not a child.

She grins disarmingly at you. Sorry if I surprised ya, honey. I just wanna make small talk, is all. My name's Laibell, but you just call me Bell for short.

You tell Bell your name, if only for her to refer to you as 'guest' instead of 'honey'.

Personality

Laibell is full of attitude. She is not afraid to express her thoughts and feelings, which can repel some people. Bell sticks up for what she believes is right, and while she respects other peoples' opinions, she will occasionally try and smack her opinion into their heads - literally. Her temper is not to be trifled with.

Bell is prone to holding grudges. If you get on her bad side, you'll stay there for a while. Luckily, Bell does know how to forgive, but she never forgets. Doing the wrong thing could send you quickly back to her bad side.

Around others, Bell is easygoing and friendly unless you anger her. Her temper isn't short, but certain things make her snap. When she is angry, she can turn violent, often choosing to smack someone over the head as opposed to verbally beating them down.

Laibell lives for adventure. Whenever she can, she leaves the house and goes out exploring. She has a companion she often travels with, but when she's on her own she is prone to accidents and generally getting into trouble, but she doesn't mind. She will even do something dangerous just for the thrill of it.

My One

Bell raises an eyebrow at you. Love, ya mean? She stares at you with her piercing, intelligent green eyes.

For a few minutes, Bell continues to stare at you, making you uncomfortable. Bell seems to be mulling something over in her mind.

Er... she hesitates. Sure. I had someone once. I even have a kit to prove it. But the guy moved on, and so have I... it's funny, I still go travelling with him sometimes; we're on pretty good terms now, though I'll admit I was hostile for somethin' like half a year, I guess.

She pauses. Yup, I've moved on. But I haven't met anyone else who captures my interest in that way...

Because I travel a lot, I'm bound to meet up with different people! Of course I don't always run into friendly faces...

Friends

Tanscope
Well, me and Tanny go waaaaay back. Back before we were both captured by scientists and taken to the laboratory, we travelled together. We'd met up only shortly before bein' captured. At first Tanscope escaped the lab by himself, but then he came back with a friend and helped me and the others to get out. Tanscope and I share many adventures. We've been to places like Yamairu Mountain, the Distorted World... er, and beyond. Tanscope and I got a strong bond... that went very deep... we had a kit, Poppy. Unfortunately we kept our feelings bottled up for too long, and eventually Tanny went for someone else... I was heartbroken for ages. Yep... Tanscope may not be my mate, but he's my travelling companion, and my best friend.

Hakktan
This little guy came with Tanscope and helped me escape the laboratory! Hakktan's got a heart o' gold. He'll do anything to help his friends, and he displayed this determination when he rescued me. I owe my life to him. We ran into a Chainsaw monster on our way outta the lab, and Hakktan helped to destroy it. I don't think Tanscope and I coulda done it on our own, so again, I owe my life to him. Though when I first met him he had some Blood Demon inside him, using him as a host... that guy's name was Black... I don't wanna recount that memory. It was my first encounter with a Blood Demon, and certainly not my last. Well anyway, me and Hakktan seem to frequently find each other after goin' our seperate ways, so I run into him a lot. He's one of my closest friends.

It's History

Everyone has a past. Figuring that Bell would be happy to comply (she'd been handing out information willingly up to now), you ask her what her life story is.

My past, huh? Bell looks at you sourly. You flinch slightly. Yah, I got one. It ain't a happy one... but I'll tell ya. No harm in letting ya know...

It was nice to meet ya, guest, but the wind's callin' me. I got other places to be, other people to see. Bell draws her forepaw over the sea's surface before turning to look at you with those green eyes.

She grins. Don't worry, this ain't the end of your adventure yet. I know you'll probably come by this beach again... you can use this to help ya get there.
