1. All I want is something simple, and both petpage and Neomail applications are fine. I'm not biased toward a certain type of application, and I HAVE given pets to people who made Neomail applications. If you're making a petpage application (since I know that not everyone's good with coding), writing everything on a blank petpage is perfectly fine. If you want to use a premade petpage lookup, please leave the maker's name on it. I will not go off-site to read an application.
2. Write whatever you'd like in your application. But please include this information (you can put this in a neomail or in your application)
- Name your accounts, past and present (this includes frozen/abandoned accounts). Please tell me why the frozen/abandoned accounts became that way. I appreciate honesty, so if you messed up and got frozen, don't be afraid to mention it.
- State which account is your main account, and what account the pet will be going on.
- Anything else you think I should know. Ideas are below if you need them.
3. Chatspeak and improper grammar are big no-nos (like "plz" or "i" or "becuz"). It irks me. I understand that people make spelling mistakes, but if you know your spelling's bad, you can always use a SpellCheck, or get someone to read it. If I find a lot of spelling mistakes, I'll tell you so that you can fix it up, then resubmit your application. You can use as many smilies as you want. :)
4. Please neomail me if you're making an application, so that I know to expect it.
5. The pet you are adopting will be transferred to you. Please note that I can only do one transfer a month, so you may have to wait. Or you can risk the regular pound if you're impatient, but it will be your job to contact the adopter if the pet is intercepted.
6. If you want to adopt any of my pets, please neomail this account (nightstar_11), not the one they are on, as some are on others' accounts, and neomails sent there will not be answered.
7. Don't beg or try to bribe me for the pet you want. You will be disqualified and reported. I will not answer your Neomail if you beg/bribe.
8. For the L/E and some painted pets, only accounts 4 months or older can adopt. This is NOT my rule, it is a Neopets' rule. If any age account can adopt a certain pet, it will be written below the pet's information. I am willing to wait for your account to age. You can get more detail here.
9. Don't try to dazzle me with ridiculous claims about how much you'll feed, groom, play with, read to, and train the pet you want to adopt without having proof. It's great that you want make him/her the smartest pet in Neopia, but if you don't have any books to start out with (you need over a hundred books to just make it onto the Book Award list), how am I supposed to believe you, and take what you say seriously?
10. Really, I'm a nice person, so if you have problems or anything, just neomail me and we can work it out. Like if English is not your first language, just tell me so that I know not to be as picky about spelling and whatnot.
11. Do not apply for a pet for another person. Let whoever it is apply for themselves. If that person is under 13, I can't transfer a pet to them anyway.
12. Nicknames are okay, and so is changing the pet's gender (just tell me somewhere in the application beforehand).
13. No re-trading the pet.
14. Have fun, and rememebr that Neopets /is/ just a game.
Trading
None of these pets are up for trade.
Disclaimer
I am in no way, shape, or form selling these pets. Also, the pound is a dangerous place--there is no guarantee that you will get the pet you were accepted for, should you want to adopt the pet through the regular pound and not wait for a transfer. If the pet is intercepted, you may use your application and this page as proof that the pet in question did belong to me, and that he/she was meant for you. I will not be contacting the new owner, since you will have been the one willing to risk transferring through the pound. As well, please don't be offended if I decide to give him/her to another person. Even if you end up being the only person applying for a pet, it doesn't guarantee that you will get him/her.
