Adopting A Pet Farindol would like to help neopians out but we do not want our pets put to waste or retraded. Make sure you read and meet the following rules and requirements before applying for a pet. If you are found retrading a pet, you will be added to the blacklist and banned from using Farindol Adoptions in the future.

Rules and Requirements .1 Free incoming transfers. We forbid using the pound.
.2 Meet the avatar requirements for the pet you're wanting to adopt.
.3 The pet must not be re-traded. You'll be blacklisted if you do.
.4 Send in one application only. You'll be notified if you will receive the pet. If not, you can always apply for another one.

Frequently Asked Questions So you just give away painted pets based off avatar counts of a user?

What's the catch?
No catch. I got bored one day. I have too many painted pets and labs. Decided to do something nice for those who can't afford the lab/their dream pets. Eventually, I met people who share my interests and together, we've formed the agency.

I'm not an avatar collector. I think it's unfair that your requirements are based off avatar count.
If you don't like the requirements, please go elsewhere to adopt a pet. That's my requirement for my agency, so please respect that. If you really want the pet, I'm sure a bit of effort would get you to the required avatar count. Besides, my requirements aren't very high anyway.

That being said, even if you meet the requirements, this does not mean you have a 100% chance of getting the pet.

I really want the pet. Would it hurt to include a petpage/neomail application?
Since I've said that all you need to do is fill out the application form, I'm not really interested in reading neomail/petpage apps a million miles long. A sentence or two stating why/where the pet is going is ok. I may neomail you for that information if you are shortlisted. As for my staff, I leave it up to their own personal judgment as to who would be the best owner for the pet.

Can I apply for a pet on my main but keep a pet on a side/transfer to my main?
Preferably no. The whole point of this agency is to give dream pets to those who will not waste the pet on a side. Do not be greedy and selfish by applying for a pet and letting it rot on a side when there could have been someone else who would have really appreciated the pet. However, if you still really want the pet but your main already has 4 pets, or, your main is currently full due to pet avatar borrowing, then just add a small little message in the neomail explaining your situation.

I want to be staff but could I still adopt pets from the agency as well?
Yep.

I've already adopted a pet from Farindol before. Can I adopt another one?
Sure but please, I stress once again, do not be greedy.

I adopted a pet from Farindol. I've decided that I don't want it anymore. Can I return it back to your agency for someone else to adopt?
Of course. Just mail the original owner of the pet or, if you have trouble remembering, mail me (amilu) and we'll sort it out from there.

If there is a name of a pet that is absolutely amazing, and we have future ideas (such as roleplaying, drawing) for a different species/color, but the name is an essential part of that character. Are we allowed to repaint/morph into a different species?
