Want to Adopt one of these pets?

The adoption process is simple. When you see an adoptable pet you want, all you have to do is send me a request via Neomail letting me know that you would like to adopt a pet (make sure to identify them by name). This process is first-come, first-served, but if I receive multiple requests at once, I may request additional information to help me decide who is the best fit. Don't worry; detailed applications and fancy petpages won't be involved.

Once your request to adopt is accepted, I will send you the pet via user-to-user transfer. If, for some reason, we can't use the transfer option, I will hold onto the pet until the transfer option is available again, rather than risk a Pound transfer. This way, you don't lose out on any paint brush specific clothing, and you don't risk losing your pet to someone else.

It all started with a green Shoyru.

Early in my Neopets days, when I still had a solitary pet named Kibichiiru, I decided to browse the Pound. I eventually found and fell in love with a lovely green Shoyru just about Kibi's age named Raidau, and promptly adopted her. She's one of my mainstay pets, sharing space on my main account with Kibi and currently painted Faerie, a longtime goal of mine that was realized in 2007.

Since then, I've also adopted Batidos, a pet that I zapped until he became an island Shoyru, and Gleamingwater, a Shoyru another user was adopting out. Together, Raidau, Batidos, and Gleamingwater see to the smooth running of the adoption agency, hoping to help other pets find their forever homes.
