Greetings! I grow weary of rumors, so the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth if you please, TNT... what happen to Black Pawkeet Slots and Brucey B Slots? Cheaters, hackers, or are you just revamping? Many thanks. ~gaeaf_the_gray Cheaters. We had an issue with players using programs to abuse the slot machines. We have taken them down temporarily to fix the issue. We hope to have them back up soon. :) If you personally know anyone who bots the slot machines, feel free to give them a swift kick in the shin for us! ^_^ The Neopian Times, Editorial, Issue: 340: Alright, so you took away the slots some weeks ago. Considering the raucous cheating that had been happening, this was fair. Now, however, you have also taken away our scratchcards and Bagatelle. May I (and every other slots player in Neopia) ask what the deal is? Are we ever getting any of these gambling games back, or are they too bad for Neopets' "children's website" image? Tell it to us straight, doctor... erm, I mean... TNT. ~sailor_nova1 Actually it's just an odd coincidence that the games that are down are gambling-type games. As you know slots came down for repairs due to cheating, and are now on the programming to-do list for getting fixed and put back up on the site. The scratchcards are being worked on for some programming reason, and as for Bagatelle... well, we've requested that the programmers look into that as well. Sorry we can't be more specific, but since not all of us are programmers ourselves, we really can't tell what's wrong with them (or, for that matter, count to high numbers without removing our socks). Don't worry, though -- we're not phasing out gambling-type games. So there you have it ~ they are coming back .... eventually :) |

![]() As I was merrily playing Black Pawkeet Slots I realised there were no explanations of payouts. Just press the button and watch your neopoints increase or decrease. So I started to write down the payouts certain combinations gave. Being bored and wanting a challenge I have decided to try and put together this page. I guess this is not so much a guide, rather an explanation of payouts Black Pawkeet Slots can pay, with a few added extra's. If you notice anything wrong or you still have questions ~ feel free to mail me. Note: If your age is under 13 or you do not have parental permission you cannot play this game.

The Neopian Times, Issue: 227: On Brucey B slots, do you have to be playing on max bet in order to get the jackpot? ~knight_terror No, none of the slot games require you to bet maximum to be eligible to win the jackpot. :) Ok, so you don't have to bet Maximum Credits (450NP) per spin to win the Jackpot, however I would strongly advise playing all 9 lines (9NP per spin). To win the Jackpot you need 5 Treasure Piles (or a mixture of Treasure Piles and Flags) in a line. To play 1 line, 1 credit and have them spin up on line 4 would be, well frustrating to say the least. I mailed the top 15 winner's for April 2006 to ask if when they won they were playing Max or not. 9 replied (thank you again to those player's) and they were all playing Maximum Credits. So maybe it's a case of not having to bet Max, but chances are increased if you do. I'll leave that one up to you.

Update: TNT seem's to have decreased the Jackpot payout frequencies. So far in the month of June the Jackpot has been won only 4 times (1 player was since frozen so their score was wiped from High Score table).
1st ~ 6,307,122 NP
Although winning the Jackpot is less frequent, the amount won seem's to be getting higher - there will be 2 x 6 million plus NP winners this month (June).

Important: All the Payouts you see listed are from playing Maximum Credits. Do this by pressing Max Bet button. Spending 450 NP per spin may seem a lot but the payouts can be worth it. I turn the sound off also to increase the games speed (that Pirate Krawk can be slightly annoying).
The other advantage to playing Maximum credits is you get the chance of going to the Mini Game (which I call the Bonus Level). This happens when you spin 3, 4 or 5 Treasure Chests either scattered or in a line. Spinning 2 Treasure Chests and a Black Pawkeet Flag will not take you to the Bonus Level.
When this happens the Bonus Screen will appear and you select 3, 4 or 5 Map Pieces depending on how many Treasure Chests are spun (remember Pawkeet flags don't count). Neopoint prizes vary. For 3 Treasure Chests neopoints uncovered can be 150, 200, 250, 300 and you have the chance to uncover One Dubloon Coins. For 4 Treasure Chests neopoints uncovered can be 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, One Dubloon Coins. For 5 Treasure Chests neopoints uncovered are 500, 600, 650, 700, 750, One Dubloon Coin.
Please Note:The payouts I have on this guide are the Minimum you can win per combination. You are not limited to one win per spin. By that I mean because you are playing 9 lines, theoretically you can win on all those 9 lines. I say theoretically because I haven't had the luck to do that.
The Black Pawkeet Flag is Wild. This means it substitutes for everything but the Pawkeet Birds. However I haven't noticed a specific payout for the flags.
Did you know in Brucey B you can hold the space bar down and it spin's for you? It's been disabled for this game. Here are a few thing's some player's have told me.

** I have won this but wasn't paying attention and didn't screenie or take note of exact payout.

Line. *Remember Flags do not count towards Bonus Level but do count towards Payout.
