His
whole life had been dedicated to his family. Since the day Krake had met his
mate of four years, he knew life would run smoothly... it would be perfect and
happy, and picturesque. The couple would have a wonderful group of children, and
they'd have the purest of love...
Though
unfortunately, it seemed that only half of the dream world Krake was living in
could be true. With his children by his side, Krake struggled with the truth
that his wife just couldn't be there for him. Unfortunately, the four years they
lived seemed to be in vain... and it was ending... the picturesque dream world
was slowly falling apart.

PICTURE OF
PERFECTION
A story of life once lived
Life hadn't always been
easy for Krakesam. His birth was unexpected, as his egg was abandoned by his
adopted mother, Albi, after weeks of failed incubating. Oddly enough, days
later, Krakesam was brought into the world by Albi's second-guessing decision to
go out and unbury the egg she had abandoned.
Though his childhood
was rough, his body being considerably smaller then his sister's, he grew in
mind without a problem. He felt very deeply connected to his family, and helped
his mother and sister as often as he could.
It wasn't until he had
grown to a full-bodied teenager that he began stretching his luck with being out
on his own. He needed the independence that came with wandering around the
territory with just his sister. It was that independence that guided him to the
love of his life, Tiki.
The two were
immediately drawn to one another, and became very close, very fast. Soon, the
decision was made for Tiki to move into the territory, and share a home with
Albi and Kohoti. The family grew in strength, and soon enough, children were
brought into the world. Three beautiful babies, two male and one female, were
the center of attention. They grew up quickly, and stayed healthy. It was the
perfect life; Krake couldn't have asked for anything more.
Even when his long-lost
brother stumbled into the picture, Krake was happy to have him around, and
welcomed him with open arms. Skan became the ever-joking uncle, and managed to
fit right in.
The family grew more
deeply connected with one another, even after Tiki left for a while; only to
return more openheartedly.
Everything was fine..
Skan had found love in Tiki's long lost sister, and he had even managed to start
a family of his own, with three kids from Leena, and two adopted. Kohoti, too,
had managed to finally get a jump on the family of her dreams; finding a mate in
a rouge male named Whyck, and having a child of her own, as well as her adopted
daughter.
Life ran smoothly for
years, and Krakesam ended up with four wonderful years with the love of his
life. His children had grown successfully to young adults, and he couldn't think
of anything that would make him happier then to just grow old with Tiki.
But unfortunately, it
seemed as though his dream life was slowly fading away. Tiki came and went more
often... and more often, she wasn't around. The children were old enough to be
off on their own without her but... it hurt to know that although Krake had
buried his heart deep into their marriage, that Tiki had not yet done the same
thing.
Soon enough, Skan and
Kohoti's marriages seemed to fall out as well. Perhaps, they thought, it was the
Rainbow Wing curse... or perhaps it was just the luck of the draw... maybe their
time was up... maybe the love between the couples had just faded over time.
Although the reason was
still unclear, the answer to the situation was bright and bold: they had to
leave and start anew.

FAMILY
As all Rainbow Wings
are, Krakesam has always been very family oriented. He was the first to have a
family of his own, and loves each and every member with all his heart.
 |
My big
sister, and my biggest idol. She's always been there for me, yet life had
never given her a break. All she ever wanted was to have a family of her own
like I did... it was her biggest dream, and I could see the pain in her eyes
when she view the love that Tiki and I had. She finally got her wish, and
less then a year later, it all falls apart for everyone. I do feel for her,
and I want only to be there for her and help her along. She needs it, now...
two kids and... possibly more on the way... I just hope her caring spirit
isn't broken by all of this. |
|
My
big brother, Skan... he's the funny guy in the family, the crazy uncle type.
I love him dearly and... it's sad, really, to see him become so serious
about the situation. I don't think I've ever seen him so serious, and it
breaks my heart. He hasn't joked often, yet he doesn't seem ashamed to speak
well of his mate, Leena. He still talks of her without a problem, and
doesn't shy away from the subject. It's hard to understand, but, he's Skan...
he's my brother, and I'll figure him out eventually. I just hope he does
alright in raising his kids without a mate... three girls, he has with him.
Perhaps Kohoti and I can help him out, just as he did for us when he first
arrived into our family. |
 |
 |
Kohoti's
adopted child, and her only Daughter, Omyr... she's such a sweetheart, even
if she's shy and withdrawn. I know she'd got a good heart hiding within
her... she just needs to let it out. She's been so withdrawn since she was
brought into our family. It seems like the only two she really opened up to
was her brother, Xymn, and her father... but... unfortunately, her father is
out of the picture, now. I feel as though this whole move will hurt her
relationship with Kohoti. It was already strained between the two of them,
and it seems as though Omyr is blaming my sister for this whole ordeal.
She's been known to run off in an attempt to cool her temper but... I'm so
afraid that she may run off one day and may not come back. We'll have to
work with her... perhaps she'll confide in Skan or myself... |
|
Xymn is my
sister's boy, and her only real child. He's a big goofball, this one. Very
loving and playful. He doesn't talk much, but he communicates with his
sister, so he's got someone to confide in, at least. It doesn't seem like
the sudden change has affected him at all... he seems to think this is some
sort of vacation or something of the like. Perhaps it's not too bad for him
to think that; I'd hate to see him get hurt because of the breakups. It
didn't seem like his relationship with his father was all that special... I
think his sister had that part of the deal. As long as he stays happy and
healthy, I suppose... |

Igrion is
the sassiest of Skan's four daughters, and is also the first of his two
adopted. She's definitely the most aged of them all, and likes to show it by
being the leader of their group. She's usually pretty well-mannered, though
her sister Zori and her fight horribly. Gigi is a bit of an instigator, and
knows just what buttons to push. Other then that, she's grown very well for
Skan's lack of "fathering material", as he calls it. I just hope she can get
along alright without her mother... she was always closer to her father, but
I still feel like she's going to need that motherly touch in her life.
|
|
Zori is the
second oldest of Skan's girls. She's also the second adopted. She can be a
real sweetheart but.. that temper of hers is something to be messed with.
I've never seen a child with such power behind their tantrums... even now
that she's grown, you've got to watch what you do to avoid provoking her.
Unfortunately, that's what her sister, Gigi, does best. Zori is a nature
girl, and enjoys spending a lot of time outdoors, so this move hasn't
affected her in the least. I honestly think she's enjoying the change of
scenery. Hopefully she'll be okay with Kohoti being her motherly figure...
she's pretty much grown, but it's still nice to have another female to
confide in from time to time; though she seems to spend most of her time
with her father, and my son Roama. |
 |
 |
Little
Lokyna... Skan's fourth daughter, and the only survivor of his second
clutch. She's a cutie, that one. She reminds me a lot of my daughter,
Sosa... just how innocent she is. I do feel bad for Skan... having his three
daughters to juggle around... especially with Kyna; She's so young, and now
she's lost her mother. I think it'll be hard on her. Kohoti was able to step
in and help my children, but I'm not so sure that will be able to happen now
that has children of her own to worry about, Hopefully Kyna will be alright
with her sisters to confide in. |
|
Roami is the
most matured of my children, and has always been considered the "oldest",
even though is no older then his two siblings. He's also always been the
'odd ball' of the three, being a completely different color then his brother
and sister, who came out to be twins. He looks a lot like his mother, and
his personality has always taken after her as well. The first time she left,
he was hit hard... it took him a while to adjust to her coming back but...
this time around, I think he's finally had it. I tried to convince him to
come with us, as Roama and Sosa were coming with me but.. he decided to stay
behind with Komo, the large tree we all used to live in. At least I know
he's safe there. Hopefully, his mother will step up and help him out... |
 |
 |
My second
boy, and one of my twins. Roama has always been the shyest of my three;
though he has a heart of gold. He really takes after me, and is very caring
to all his family, as well as his friends. He loves nature, and has bonded
well with his uncle, Skan, and his daughter Zori. It's good to know that he
has a place within the family, because his shyness has cost him the ability
to make friends easily. Fortunately, he knows he's got his sister to go to
when he needs to talk. Roama was close to his mother, but he seems fine with
the idea of her being gone. I think it still hurts him... perhaps he's just
trying not to show it... |
|
Ah, my
little Sosa. My only daughter, and the love of my life. She's Roama's twin
by looks, but certainly not in personality. She's got the greatest
disposition, I swear. She has always been kindhearted, friendly, and sweet
as can be. She's a little childish, but I don't mind it as long as she stays
genuinely innocent. She gets along with everyone, and has always had a mess
of friends to hang out with. I know having her mother gone is going to upset
her, though. She was so willing to accept Tiki back into her life and... now
she's gone again. I just hope it doesn't ruin our relationship at all. She's
always been my little girl, and I want her to stay that way. |

CONVERSATIONS
Just because I'm
doing what's best doesn't mean I won't miss you dearly...
I'm so sorry everything
fell apart for you too, brother.
My dearest sister...
we'll get through this...
You were a wonderful
sister-in-law... please take good care of the children left behind.
I... can't say I was
ever fond of you... but you treated my sister with respect while you could, and
I do thank you for that. Hopefully things will work out better in the future.
