I didn't start out living with Ravenclawyoshi. When I was little I was the pet of a faerie. Me and my twin brother were the Solar Faerie's prized pets.

I was the pet that was the guardian of the sun, while my twin was the guardian of the moon. The Solar Faerie, Solaria (pronounced soul-air-ee-ah,) loved us and we both loved her dearly. My brother and I would play together in our home, which was a giant castle in the sky, on the outskirts of Faerieland. Solaria played with us, and would allow us to sit with her by a crackling fire. She would tell us stories and scratch our ears. Life was wonderful.

Then our beloved owner fell sick. She had a burning fever, and was so weak she could barely walk. My brother and I rarely left her side.

As our owner fell more and more ill, my brother and I became more and more worried. One day we traveled to the healing springs, and begged the Faerie to heal Solaria. Our efforts were useless. The Water Faerie said there was nothing she could do.

We remained by her bedside as Solaria's life was slowly fading away.

Although she was miserably weak, she presented my brother and I with two very special gifts. Two gold collars. Mine, with the charm of the sun and my brother's with a charm of a crescent moon. She helped us put them on, and smiled when she saw us wearing them.

My brother and I tried every remedy to make Solaria better, but again, our efforts fell short. Solaria died, leaving my brother and I to fend for ourselves. With the Solar Faerie gone, my brother and I were relieved of our duties of guardians of the sun and moon. We were free to find new owners.

Deeply saddened by the loss of my beloved owner, I clung to my brother, as he was all I had left. But grief of Solaria's death and bitterness toward the water Faerie and everything else for not helping Solaria had driven my brother into a pit of despair. Hate and anger now took over my brother's soul – he was no longer the fun loving kougra I used to know.

Vowing to avenge Solaria's death, my brother flew off into the clouds. That's the last time I ever saw him.

Life from then until I met Ravenclawyoshi is a blur. I imagine I didn't do much. I was sorrow-stricken, and would just lye down and not move for days.

Ravenclawyoshi took me in and pretty much adopted me right from the start. I love my family very much. My two brothers, Theodore and Gandalf, and my sister, ChuChu, fill my heart with joy every day.

I pretty much keep to myself now. I wander around from here to there. I leave to think, and my travels lead me to some of the most amazing places in Neopia. I am at home more than my brother, Gandalf, but I am not home as much as I would like to be or even should be.
