You're in a snowy landscape, sent in on a private expedition. A task, of finding a specific endangered pack of lupes. This kin, however, is not easy to find. They know the land, and you don't. A cold terrain that seems extrodanarily unfamiliar. At hand, you carry all of the essential items you need to survive on your search. You set up camp just before nightfall after a hardy day of pursuing to track down paw-prints or 'leftovers' of a meal. Inside your newly set-up tent, you wonder how long it will take you to find the lupes. You pick up a bowl of warm, steaming bowl of fish broth (you would've wished more for chicken broth), and began to eat. Suddenly, a shadow flickered by the campsite's fire. You only saw the shadow for a split second before it vanished. You stared deeply, and again, the shadow appeared. This time it stood its place. In a quick flash, the figure stumbled through the tent opening.
You look in astonishment to what kind of creature could've burst through your tent doors without warning. When the animal stood up on all fours, it gazed up at you with blissfull eyes. There, standing right in front of you, was a white lupe. Smaller than the average lupe, and it probably stood up at about a foot or less. Its eyes were pale red in color. This is....a lupe of the kin, you thought. It sneezed a heartfelt little sneeze, and you happened to notice a peculiar thing. A paw print, in a red paint, was printed on both sides of its flank.
In curiosity, you reach out to touch the canine to examine it more, but startled when the lupe moved toward your half-eaten bowl of fish broth. It seemed that the lupe just aquired a taste for fish. You watch in amazement as it quickly finishes up your meal. It licked its lips in contentment, and slowly pawed its way over to your side to nap. As it curled up next to you, you ponder about the new friend you've made today.
