You stare about, rather curious as to your surroundings. Usually forests contain many different types of tree. This one, apparently, had only weeping willows, each tree large for its type, with long, graceful branches tipped with the long flowing fingers and pin-shaped leaves, each swaying slowly and easily in the passing breeze. Seeing you look, the kougress smiled, speaking.I had hoped that I could keep the Guardianship of the Forest to Smoke, but he has not agreed to this yet, so the telling of it falls upon me. This is called 'Willow Forest' for a reason, as you see. There are other types of plants here, of course, but the only trees that grow here are willows. It is also home to many strange creatures." she smiled softly, her eyes twinkling.Not exactly fey creatures, but close enough. They are called the Wild Folk, but their keeping falls upon Khari. To hear of them, you shall have to speak to her. But the willows and the Wild Folk are not the only mystery held inside of the forest, come with me, and I shall show you the real reason this forest is magical.

Koshka turns and beckons for you to follow after. You do so, wondering suddenly about the mischevious smile on her face. Leading you toward a large rock facing, she reached forward toward a long growth of ivy and kudzu. You gasp as they are parted, revealing a large cave opening. She enters inside and you follow, wondering momentarily about lighting. How could you possibly see? Your question was soon answered, as there were inside thousands of shelves, and resting upon them were teardrops of every shape, size, and color, all of them giving off a soft light. You stand amazed, but your thoughts are soon interrupted by Koshka's soft voiceBe honored. You are standing inside of the Cave of Secrets" she softly pads over to a shelf, lifting a teardrop off of it, holding it in her pawThis, my friend, is a Secret Holder, also known as a Secret Gem. Every inhabitant of Neopia has their secrets stored here. It is my job to watch over them and hold them in trust, until the day that they are released from captivity" she gently replaced the Secret Holder, gesturing to the teardrop around her neck with a smileThis is my own Secret Holder. As the Guardian of Secrets, I am allowed to wear it. This allows me to find and access the Cave" she smiled once more, gesturing for you to precede her out. You do so, glancing behind you once more before walking out back into the bright sunlight. Koshka is waiting for you once more, still smilingDo not try to find this place again, for you will not succeed. Only the Guardian and her guests may enter the Cave." she turned and walked further away from the rock wall, back into the Forest. You stay with her, even more curious about this kougress that guards such a place. As if sensing your thoughts, she turned with another smileLest you think I am doomed to a life of seclusion, I tell you this is not true. I do have family and few friends. Allow me to tell you about them...

First, my family"

Taaki: She smiles softly, a proud yet sad look upon her face.My son. It seems like no time has passed since he first came to me, a tiny orphaned cub searching for a meal. I adopted him and raised him as my own and indeed, I couldn't love him any less than a child of my own flesh and blood. But Taaki is no longer a cub, but a handsome young male. He has left the Forest to explore the world." She sighed once again, lowering her head, a small smile still upon her lipsI understand his decision to leave, but its still hard to let go of your children. I miss him horribly, but I'm so very proud of the young many he has become..."
Khari: "An anthro zafara, the keeping of the Wild Folk rests in her capable hands." Koshka smiles slightly, a mischevious glint to her violet eyesHowever, its not a job that I would wish for. Those little devils are a handful!"
Smoke: Ahh, Smoke. What can I say about the newest addition to the Forest, on whom we had pinned such hopes? He is hard to get along with, stubborn, angry, and very very proud. He used to be proud of his skills as a fighter, but he has come to realize his folly. It is difficult when one's beliefs have been tempered and they didn't stand up to the test. He is outwardly strong, but inside he is venerable." She smiled slightly, then, looking at her pawsHe used to insist on remaining here in the Forest. But recent developments have led him far away from here. He is regaining that inner strength and finding something with deeper meaning. I know he will return a changed male."

And now my friends!"
Hinkel: "A Darigen kougra, he is not at all evil or cruel like his appearance may suggest. He is rather charming, the sly rascal!" she smiled, amusedA very wonderful kougra, if I do say so myself. He is a joy to be around and one of my closest friends!"
Rala: "She came into the Willow Forest seeking only to rest but she found much more here. Smoke brought her to me to look inside of her Secret Gem to find answers locked away inside. She found her answer, I think, although she was disturbed by it and soon left, fearing to bring some evil upon us. I've not heard from her since she fled, but I know only that Smoke left soon after she did. I hope they both are well..."
Tremba: "A rather shy Darigen kougra. He stumbled into my Forest one day and he's had a special place in my heart ever since." She sighs softly, a sad look coming into her eyesI count him a friend, but it seems I only bring him pain. I honestly don't know what to do about him..."

Well, these are the only friends I have, for now. However, I am not abject to a few more." small smileIf you have a pet that would like to speak with me, I would be more then happy to do so. One can never have enough friends!

Koshka sighs happily, a brilliant smile on her faceYes, I am indeed fortunate enough to have a love. Rede is a Vampire Kougra. He is dark natured and evil by nature, as most vampires are wont" she smiled slightly, closing her eyesSo I am sure you wonder how I could befriend one such as this, much less come to love. I shall say this about him. There is much more to him than what meets the eye. Mean, cruel, angst ridden. That is not my love, not in his heart of hearts. But it is enough, for me, to have Rede by my side." she reopened her eyes, a smile still tugging at the corner of her mouth as she moved along.

Well, these are pets that I know, but I can't exactly call them friends yet, but they deserve to be recognized!"

Kole: "One whom I just met recently, Kole is half lion, half lynx. I don't know much of him quite yet, but I do know this. He is a gentle soul and most definatly possessing the heart of a lion." she smiles broadly, her eyes glinting softly
