Plot of the show
Koeaja is a kind young Kougra who wants nothing more than to live a normal life with her friends and family. Her greatest hobby is painting, her house is lined with canvases and paint, and pictures hang on every wall. Everyone in her hometown knows of her and her love for painting, and they often buy some of her art. Her kindness, creativity and love for beauty makes her very well loved.
But one day, a dark, evil intention heard about Koeaja and her skill, and decided to bestow upon her a magical paint brush that could manifest it's creations, useable only in the hands of a pure-hearted artist. At first, the young Kougra was thrilled with her new brush- she painted flowers in her garden, she fixed neighbor's broken chairs and fences, she even created fun toys for her petpet to play with. All seemed well…. Until many of Koeaja's closest friends mysteriously disappeared.
Koeaja discovered that the one who gave her the paint brush, an evil Hissi named Jaszam, was holding her friends hostage, and was demanding that she use her brush to make the town belong to him. Once he had control, he would let her friends go. The young Kougra felt like a fool. How could she have let him use her like that? Regretfully, Koeaja started to obey Jaszam, but then, it occurred to her.
She turned on the Hissi and used the power of the brush against him, freeing her friends. Jaszam retreated, but not without announcing that he would be back- and he would not be alone. Koeaja was quickly forgiven by the townspeople, and thanked her for helping them, though they worried what they would do next time Jaszam arrived. Koeaja swore to her friends that she would protect them, for she still had her magic brush.

Interview with Koeaja
I: Koeaja, it is very nice to meet you! My, you look tired.
K: I'm always tired.
I: It must be a lot of work being the star of your own TV show!
K: Not really.
I: How do you feel about your role in Magical Painter?
K: Mm, Its nice to be a hero. [It] makes me feel good.
I: Do you really draw in your free time?
K: No. I cant draw.
I: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
K: I dunno. Practice lines I guess.
I: How very dedicated you are! You must really enjoy this show.
K: Yup.
I: Can you tell us about your real life family?
K: I have a brother. We don't talk much though.
I: What a shame. Well, it says here that you're having auditions!
K: Oh, yeah.
I: And, would you like to tell us more about them?
K: We need actors to play my friends.
I: What a strange way to phrase that. You've got plenty of friends already!
K: You mean my fans?
I: Well, every little girl wants to be just like you.
K: Its not me that they want to be like. Its Magical Painter.
I: Haha, well, sure! But you *are* Magical Painter!
K: No, I'm an actress. I'm glad that I can be a role model, but I'm
only an actress.
I: Are you saying you don't feel a connection to your character? That shes completely fake to you?
K: No! I never said that. I only said that it upsets me when people assume that I have a magic paint brush at home, and are wondering why I'm not constantly bouncy and bubbly. Magic Painter is only a character that I portray, and while I like people looking up to me, I *don't* like it when they mistake me for the character. Because, I'm me. And I wish more people knew me, and not Magical Painter.
I: Mm, sounds like you have some personal issues that need to be worked through.
K: [clears her throat] No, I'm sorry. I just kinda ranted … Its one of my pet peeves, that's all…sorry.
I: Well, it looks like that's all the time we have for this afternoon- In conclusion, what would you like to say to your fans?
K: Artists can be anything- but only YOU can be yourself.
