Last updated: October 15th, 2009 (posted the revised KoMHQ page) Grand Master Mystic officially ended the Council for the Reformation of the Knights of Meridell on August 2nd, 2009! Changes that the Council of Masters made include:
The Knights of Meridell would like to formally apologize to all persons who came under persecution from the Knights of Meridell under the previous justification of the Invalid Knighthood principle. The Invalid Knighthood was a major flaw in the Knights of Meridell, dividing Meridellians more so than uniting them. The Knights of Meridell aims to coexist with other Meridellian support groups peacefully. Welcome to the Knights of Meridell Head Quarters! The Knights of Meridell is a public chat group originating from the Altador Cup I. The chat group publicly supports the team of Meridell and is run year-round. It was also founded by Grand Master Mystic I. It is the oldest active Team Meridell support group. Below is the format on how to make our boards. Usually, the first person to claim making the next board makes it. If there are any quarrels then the highest-ranking chatter decides who makes the board. If it's your first time at the Knights of Meridell, please make yourself known and please mention your name! Usually, regular visitors to the Knights of Meridell have their title in their siggy, so be on the look out! Titles are as follows:
Hail Skarl One should *bow* or *curtsy* before the Grand Master and greet him.
Example: *bows to Grand Master* Greetings Grand Master! The Grand Master is the sovereign of the Knights of Meridell. They hold absolute authority over the Knights of Meridell and all of her assets. The Grand Master also has the final word in regards to any possible treaties, changes, etc. that may affect the Knights of Meridell. The Grand Master's reign can only be terminated if their account is frozen (reclaiming the Throne is possible) or upon resignation. The Council of Masters The Council of Masters is a group of ten members that are the backbone of the Knights of Meridell. The head of the Council is the Grand Master. The remaining nine Masters are appointed by the Grand Master. Masters are known as the Guardians of the Knights of Meridell. Some duties of the Masters are to regulate the Order and the Knights of Meridell board, as well as, participating in important events (councils, assemblies, etc.) regarding policy and diplomacy of the Knights of Meridell. The most important feature of the Council of Masters is that they are the ones who vote for a new Grand Master when needed! This Joint-Declaration ensures that, in order to promote a common friendship and brotherhood among both groups, titles and ranks of one group are welcomed, accepted, respected, and followed within the other group and vice versa.
