Disclaimer

This guide is based on personal research and the collective suggestions from experienced UC traders.

The purpose of this page is to give you guidelines, and nothing else. The values of UCs are mostly established by the PC's mass of opinions, which are guided by each UC's popularity and availability which can change at any given time.

I'd love to hear your feedback or suggestions, so feel free to mail my main account,
crazie_wulf.

The Importance of NAMES

I am basing all the info I have on WN or "better" DN pets, so imagine all the UCs listed are with name formats Xxxxxx or XxxxXxxx, also assuming they are pronounceable, or at least somewhat.

Are names important when trading? Most of the time, yes. The majority of PCers prefer to have well named pets, whether they're UC or not. For example, A VWN UC baby kougra should be able to trade for a VWN UC Darigan Kau, Skeith, or even higher, while a BN one might have a hard time even fetching a DN UC Darigan Jetsam or Buzz.

What do these abbreviations mean, anyways?
VWN = Very well named (ex: Xxxxxx)
WN = Well named (ex. Xxxxxxxxx)
DN = Decently named (ex. XxxxXxxxx, Xxxxx#, Xxxx_Xxxx, xxxxxxxx)
BN = Badly named (ex. _xxxx##, xxxxx#######, xxxx_Xxx##)
VBN = Very badly named (ex. ###xxx_#x, xxxx_xx####_)

The above formats are just examples. It's up to you and your own brain now to determine any pet's value based on its name.

Baby

Overview:

Eyries are far less adorable in their UC form, leading them to be harder to trade. However, people looking for them specifically have downtraded for them when they're well named.
There aren't very many Baby Skeiths around, but there is a bounty of Baby Kougras. Based on popularity and availability (when well named), they can both trade for lower and lower-mid Greys and Faeries, higher Deserts and Mutants, lower-mid to middle Darigans, middle Sponges, Tys and Robots, and lower-mid Maras.
The Kougras have the advantage because they are the cutest, but since there are so many of them, they can be a hassle to trade when they are badly named.

Darigan

Overview:

Lower Darigans typically trade for lower Deserts and Babies, and middle Mutants.
When well named, Lower-Mid Darigans can trade for lower-mid Greys and Faeries, lower Babies, Deserts, Hallows, Robots and Tys.
Middle Darigans will trade for lower-mid and sometimes middle Grays and Faeries, while Higher-Mid Darigans can most definitey go for middle Greys, Faeries, and Maras, and lower Plushies. Kyriis and Scorchios actually lie somewhere between the Middle and Higher-Mid ranges. They will trade far better than a Jubjub or Pteri, but not quite as well as a Hissi or Gelert.
Higher tier darigans like the Aisha can go for higher-mid Faeries and Greys, and lower Plushies.
The Kacheeks and Wockies can trade amazingly well, as they are rarer than the rest. The Wockies in particular are on the same trading tier as Middle Royals and Plushies.

Desert

Overview:

The Kaus and Poogles are usually harder to trade, because most of them out there are badly named. But when well named, they can go for lower-mid Darigans, lower Babies, Tys, Hallos, Robots, Sponges and Faeries, and sometimes lower Greys and lower-mid Faeries.
Well named Aishas can trade for lower and lower-mid Greys and Faeries, higher Babies and Mutants, lower-mid to middle Darigans, middle Sponges, Tys and Robots, and lower-mid Maras.

Faerie

Overview:

Faerie Kaus can trade for lower-mid Darigans and lower Greys, Tys, Deserts, Babies and Robots.
Lower-Mid Faeries will go for lower-mid Greys, middle Darigans or Robots, and higher Deserts, Babies, and Mutants.
Faeries from the Middle range and higher are extremely popular. Middle Faeries will easily trade for higher-mid Greys and higher-mid to higher Darigans.
Faerie Xweetoks and Yurbles can go for higher Darigans and Greys, but can also go for lower-mid Plushies and Lower Royals.
Higher Faeries go for the highest tiered Darigans, higher Greys, and the best of the lower-mid Plushies and lower Royals.
Faerie Techos are nearly impossible to come by, and will go for middle range Draiks, Krawks, Plushies, and Royals.

Grey

Overview:

Kaus and Kois can be traded for lower-mid Darigans and Sponges, and lower Faeries, Tys, Deserts, Babies and Robots, while Lower-Mid Greys can go for lower-mid to middle Darigans, lower-mid Faeries, middle Maras and Robots, and higher Babies, Deserts and Mutants.
Generally speaking, Middle tier Greys usually go for middle to higher-mid Darigans, and middle faeries.
Higher-Mid Greys will trade for higher-mid to higher Darigans, and higher-mid Faeries.

Ixis are somewhere inbetween the higher-mid and highest tiers. For example, an Ixi for an Eyrie would be a down trade, while an Ixi for a Tonu would be an up trade.
The Usuls and Tonus are the rarest of the Greys and can go for higher Faeries, lower-mid Plushies, and lower Royals.

Halloween

Overview:

There seems to be an abundance of Werelupes and they're not all that attractive, so they go for lower-mid Darigans, lower Deserts, Tys, Babies, Robots and Sponges, and sometimes lower Greys and Faeries. The Zafaras do about as well as the Werelupes.
Halloween Wockies are unique in appearance compared to their converted counterparts, and can trade for middle Darigans, and maybe lower-mid faeries.
The Moehogs have become more common recently and are now trading for up to middle Faeries and Greys and maybe higher-mid Darigans.

Maraquan

Overview:

Maraquan Scorchios and Chombys aren't too sought after and trade as well as lower-mid Darigans. But since the Grarrls are pretty cool looking, they can trade for as high as middle Darigans or lower to lower-mid Faeries and Greys.
The Kaus are pretty darn cute and will trade for middle Faeries and middle to higher-mid Darigans and Greys.
Gelerts and Hissis can go for higher-mid to higher Darigans, maybe higher-mid Greys, and middle to maybe higher-mid faeries, while Skeiths have been noted to trade very high when someone is looking for one, but they typically go for higher Darigans, and higher-mid Greys and Faeries.

Mutant

Overview:

Lower Mutants are at the very bottom of the UC barrel, especially when they're badly named. In which case they seldom trade for any other UCs, and are instead traded for things like converted pets with real names, and for draik customs. With good names, however, they can still trade for UCs like lower Darigans.
Lupes and Scorchios trade splendidly when they have good names and can go for lower Darigans without a doubt.
Skeiths and Hissis are in a league of their own and can be traded for lower-mid to middle Darigans, and lower-mid Greys and Faeries.

Plushie

Overview:

Buzzes are the most common plushies because of the Buzzin' avatar, and are much lower on the totem pole in the realm of Plushies. They will usually trade for higher-mid Darigans, lower-mid to middle Faeries, and middle Greys.
Lower-Mid Plushies go for higher Darigans, higher-mid and higher Faeries and Greys, and lower Royals, while Middle Plushies can be traded for middle Royals, Draiks, and Krawks, and the highest Faerie and Darigans.
Higher-Mid and Higher Plushies can all trade for higher Draiks, Krawks, and Royals. Because there are so few of them, no one could really say for sure what their set-in-stone values are. But basically, they're at the top of the UC pile and can fetch absolutely anything.

Robot

Overview:

Lower Robots usually trade for lower Faeries, Babies, Deserts, and Tyrannians, and lower to lower-mid Darigans.
Middle Robots generally go for lower-mid to middle Darigans, lower to lower-mid Greys and Faeries, and higher Babies and Deserts.
Ixis are the most sought after and trade the best among all the robos. They can be traded for higher Darigans, Hallos, Maraquans or Tyrannians, higher-mid to higher Greys, and higher-mid Faeries.

Royalboy

Overview:

Royalboy UCs are rather dashing and rare, therefore they trade well. The Kougras will go for higher Darigans, higher-mid to higher Faeries, higher-mid to higher Greys, and lower-mid Plushies.
Middle tier Royalboys can go for Royalgirls of the same tier, and can be traded for the highest Faerie and Darigans, middle Plushies, and lower-mid Draiks and Krawks.
The Kyriis and Kaus are almost in the same tier, but while the RB Kyrii is incredibly rare to come by, the RB Kau is practically impossible to get a glimpse of. The Kyrri can be traded for higher-mid to higher Plushies, Draiks and Krawks, but the Kau will easily go for absolutely anything.

Royalgirl

Overview:

Kougras will go for lower Plushies or a Tyrannian Krawk, based on the fact that most of them out there are badly named. But a well named one, being rarer, could go for more.
Lower-Mid Royalgirls generally trade for higher Darigans, higher-mid to higher Greys and Faeries, lower-mid to middle Plushies, and lower-mid Draiks and Krawks.
The Cybunnies are somewhere in between lower-mid and higher-mid, wherein they might go for higher greys or middle Plushies easier than the Aisha or Lupe would.
Higher-Mid Royalgirls can go for other Middle Royals, Middle Plushies, and lower-mid to higher-mid Draiks and Krawks.
The Grarrl and Kau are basically non-existent, and you'd be very lucky to find oneā€¦that is if you had a higher Plushie, Draik or Krawk to trade.

Sponge

Overview:

Lower Sponges can go for lower Greys, Faeries, Maras, Robots, and Tys, and lower to lower-mid Darigans.
There aren't many of the Moehogs or Kikos around, but they're just not very popular. However, they can go for lower to lower-mid Greys and Faeries, lower-mid to middle Darigans, lower Robots and maybe the higher Desert and Baby.
The Blumaroo can go for middle Darigans, lower-mid Faeries and Greys, or a higher Baby or Desert. The Lupe trades similarly to the Blumaroo, but there are far more of them. The Peophin will trade for higher-mid Darigans and middle Faeries and Greys.
The Aisha is hard to come by and can trade for as high as the higher Darigans, higher-mid to higher Greys and Faeries, lower-mid Plushies, and lower Royals

Tyrannian

Overview:

Lower Tyrannians aren't all that sought after, but they can be traded for lower Darigans and Hallos, and middle Mutants.
Middle Tyrannians can go for higher Mutants, lower-mid Faeries and Greys, lower-mid to middle Darigans, and the higher Baby or Deserts.
Ixis are few and far between, and stand up in the lower Royal and lower-mid Plushie range.

Draiks & Krawks

Overview:

Tyrannian Krawks are the lowest in this section but are still pretty cool, and can go for higher Darigans, higher-mid Faeries and Greys, lower-mid Plushies, and lower Royals.
The Lower-Mids typically trade for higher Faeries and Greys, lower-mid Plushies, and lower Royals.
The Higher-Mids can be traded for middle Plushies and Royals, while the Higher Draiks and Krawks can go for almost anything to someone who is trying to find one.

Miscellaneous

Overview:

Coco Jubbies are fairly common and therefore may take patience to trade. Both they and the Mallow Grundo can go for lower the Baby, Deserts and Hallos, lower to lower-mid Darigans, and maybe lower Greys and Faeries.
Usukiboys trade somewhere around the higher Baby and Desert, middle Robots, Tyrannians and Darigans, and lower-mid Faeries and Greys. Usukigirls have traded all over the place in the past, but today trades in the middle Faerie/Grey range.
The Higher tiered UCs in this section trade much better than the previous tiers, whether they are rare, simply sought after, or both. The Quigukis rare and unique. MSPPs are super cool and extremely sought after. The Ice Bruce, also known as a Brucicle, well...good luck even seeing one at all. They can all go for lower Royals and lower-mid Plushies.
