Two...No...Three spirits are circling around the island.
I opened my eyes, revealing another world. My pupils themselves shrunk, concentrating on the energy that was approaching my island den.
I stepped out of my shelter, which was located in a large tree. The sun was supposed to be shining, but it was not. My surroundings were covered by a sheet of darkness, as if nightfall had come. I looked up to see the dark shadow of the moon covering the sun.
I looked into the eclipse directly, not fearing its strong and blinding rays. This eclipse was a sign, and as a shaman, a sign cannot hurt my eyes, for they were made to see the invisible world.
There was a moment of total darkness, and then the eclipse's rays where visible again.
Shadow over light, total darkness, and then light slowly appearing again. Dark times will come, bringing evil along. Good will prevail and slowly drive darkness out, making everything stable again.
I looked into the tropical jungle that surrounded me, and saw a faint shape blur between the trees.
Could it be another lost soul?
An eerie tune started flooding my ears. At first I thought it was part of the sign, but no, this was no ordinary tune. This was a lost soul, singing in its terrible agony.
I could feel a cold breeze embracing me from behind, and a chilling whisper crawling up my spine.
This is most likely another lost soul from the Geraptiku ruins.

Even though her shaman title might give her a wise look, she can be somewhat clumsy, which sometimes leads her to mix up potions. Even though she might be clumsy, she's very responsible over her shaman duties, everything from delivering various potions for clans in urgent need, to reading signs for her own clan. Klio is also very spirited in doing her job, a quality that always brings others closer to her, making her a very likeable lupess.
Klio possesses all the remarkable abilities of a real shaman. Her eyes appear blind but they are not. They look that way because Klio has the ability to see the real world and the "invisible world". Even though it may not be great, she has a small control over nature, able to make plants and vegetation grow at faster rates. She has a special talent for making healing potions and morphing potions. Klio is a vital part of her tribe because she is the healer of her tribe, meaning that she attends to all injuries and diseases. Being a shaman can be a tireful job not just physically but mentally. Klio specializes in changing potions, something that is not very common in a shaman. She develops potions that contortions the body, making it stand on two legs, or reverses a curse and helps the body solidify (i.e. Solidifying a cursed ghost's body). Klio possesses basic fighting and hunting skills, but does not need them unless an unavoidable battle comes up. The leather dream-catcher she wears around her neck helps her trap her "relevant" dreams. The center of it filters her most important dreams in.
Klio is very much like a coyote, bigger than a fox but smaller than a wolf. Her claws appear thin, but they are in fact sharp enough to put up a fight and help her in the handling of objects. The studs she wears are a very common accessory in her tribe. As a lupe from the Gifera tribe ages, they gain more studs to show their age (they are pierced by a lupe's fangs since lupes don't have hands...it works, kind of!). The grass anklets she wears are made from leaves that grow around her tribe's territory. Kliomea's mane turns from tan into orange, sections of it bound into a braid (lupes don't have thumbs...let's ignore this fact for now).

Zephyrathe was someone I encountered out of sheer destiny, and someone's who's life I changed. I bumped into him as he was heading for Meridell, which was my same direction since I was on my way to delivering potions for a clan. My clumsiness made me mix up potions and I gave him a morphing potion instead of an energizing potion, which made him turn into a two-legged skeith. I am grateful that he went back to his normal form with time.
