Welcome to the Foster Forest! You can find all the lovely fosters that are adoptable from Kat, along with the guidelines on how to apply for them. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask. I will make one thing perfectly clear up front; none of these pets are up for trade. If you ask if they are, your request will be deleted instantly.

Rules
1. Your Neopets account that the
pet will be on, must be at the least four months old. Its Neo's rule, and
personally I think it also shows a commitment to the site.
2. You must
take the Pledge of Good Ownership. You may do so by either including it in your application, or posting it somewhere in your account and notifying me as to where.
3. I accept all types of applications, as long as they are coherent and readable.
4. No begging for the pet or offering to pay me to get
him or her...it is a freezable offense on Neopets. Also don't waste your time with trade offers. I'm not fond of the concept of trading pets like commodities and will not waste any time on you except to block you.
5. You are allowed to
Neomail me necessary questions, but don't flood my inbox with silly things like
"Have you picked an owner yet?" or "Am I a finalist?". Check the FAQ section for some of the most commonly asked questions...
6. Get my pet's
gender and name correctly. If a male the proper terms are he/him/his female
she/her. Never 'it'. He/she is not an 'it'. Use of this term in reference to my
foster will get your application deleted without a second thought. (Seriously,
this is the thing that bugs me the most.) If you wish to change the gender of my
foster, indicate that at the beginning of the application to avoid confusion. As for the name, nicknames are awesome, just let me know early on in the application that you will be using one.
7. If you decide that you can no longer care for my pet, please contact me. I will do everything in my power to take him or her back in if I have room or I will help you find a suitable owner.
8. Do not use chatspeak, please use real English. Smilies are ok in moderation as I'm addicted to them as well ^_^.
9. Please contact me on my
blessed_petz account with questions and applications. Make
sure that the title of your neomail is "Application: *pets name*. If you send it to the wrong account or do not label it correctly, I tend to lose it in the shuffle!
10. My pets are not to be
refostered or
traded if you adopt them. I'm looking for forever
homes...not just another stop on an account or to be used as a bargaining chip to get you another pet...
11. If I find out that you are
double applying/re-using applications for the same color/species combo as my pet then I will not only refuse to let you
adopt my pet and I will contact the owner of the other pet that you are applying
for and notify them of what you are doing. I have no problem with you applying for other pets that are not the same species-color combo at the same time as mine as long as you have room for both them and my pet and you mention it in your application.

Application Process
Step 1: Please send me a neomail letting me know that you are applying. This allows me to gauge how many applications to expect which in turn lets me set deadlines so that I can find the best homes as quickly as possible
Step 2: Using these questions as a guide, make your application:
What are all of your accounts on Neopets?
On which account will my pet be living?
Please nominate one of your current pets as an example for how my pet will be treated.
Have you ever been frozen and why?
Any future plans for my pet? (i.e. beauty contest, BDing, RPing...I love seeing examples ^_^)
Why should I choose you to be my pet's new owner?
Why is my pet your dream pet?
Anything else you'd like to say?
Where have you placed The Pledge of Good Ownership found in the Legalities section (i.e. shop, gallery, lookup, in the application etc...)?
Step 3: Send your application to me. If it's longer than 2 neomails, please put the text somewhere and link me to it.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy, right? Like I said in my rules, all types of applications are welcome, and I value them all equally.

Tips
~Take good care of your current pets. If you submitted me the best petpage application on earth if I look at your accounts and you have sad pets with no personalization and I had some one submit a nicely composed neomail had had happy pets with lookups and such, I would readily pick the neomail application since they are showing devotion to their current pets.
~If you make a claim of something that you are going to do with my pet, try to back it up. Gonna enter him/her in the BC? Show me art for him or past pieces of your current pets. Gonna RP? Write an example. I know certain claims cannot be backed up, but don't just put something in the application that you have no intention of doing because you think it will impress me.
~When you put stuff on petpages, don't be overly concerned with the coding. I can't code my way out of a paper bag so I don't expect you to either. Just make it so I can read it in a coherent way. Premades are perfect for this as long as proper credit is given!
~Because a lot of my pets do not have deadlines, I am flexible when it comes to doing transfers to a certain point. Yes I can wait a month if need be, but don't expect me much more than that. I try to post not only a deadline but the preferred transfer month for the pet on their lookup.
~If you are a trader, please do not waste my time or yours by applying. I don't trust that you wouldn't trade my pet away in a heartbeat if you got offered another pet, and so I will reject your application. And no, I won't reconsider no matter how much you claim that you've given up trading for good.
~Be unique! I rather like when people have ideas for my pets and go beyond the standard, "I will feed/play/groom/customize" application.

FAQ's
Here are some of the most frequently asked questions I get:
1. Is *petnamehere* UFA?
If that pet is on this page, then yes she or he is currently UFA.
2. My ____________ for your ____________

3. Why was my application turned down?
The most common reason I turn down applicants is because you don't take care of your current pets. If you can't take care of your current pets, then how are you gonna take care of mine? The second most common reason is people not following the rules. If I have 2 equally wonderful applicants, one who followed all the rules and one that missed a few, I am more apt to pick the one that followed all the rules. The other reasons I turn down apps are usually some form of someone else had a better app than you.
4. When is *petnamehere's* deadline?
If a pet has a deadline it will be on their look up. I generally set them for 1 month after I put the pet UFA. I do grant extensions tho, so don't be afraid to ask ^_^
5. Can I make a petpage app?
Only if you want to ^_^. And if you do please put a disclaimer on your app stating that I didn't require you to.
6. Did you get my application?
Generally yes. No news is good news from me. I work full time and have limited time on here so I don't wanna spend it all letting every soul know that I got their application. As long as you follow the guidelines above, I should have your app on file.
7. Is my application accepted?
I don't do the whole accept/reject thing. I got tired of getting flamed on the PC for rejecting people, so now I just collect all the apps and then choose an owner after the deadline.
8. What browser & screen resolution do you use?
My resolution is 1280x800 and I mainly use Firefox, but I have access to just about every major browser out there, so if you have a preference, let me know.

Bloo10101 is a former permie of Kat's friend MJ. MJ needed some help finding Bloo a permanent home so he's staying here with me til we can find that home. All applications that MJ had gotten for Bloo have been passed on to me and I am in the process of going thru them. Feel free to make changes and update them to include any missing information!

Legallities
The Pledge
If I am chosen, I, (your name) , pledge to be the best owner I can be for my
new Neopet, (pet's name) . I understand all the sadness that he/she has already
been through, and so I will provide everything he/she needs to be happy. I
promise to be a friend to my new Neopet and never ever ever put him/her through
the pain of neglect or abandonment again.
My disclaimer:
I try to have my pets set up so that I will not be at risk for having more than one transfer per account per month. If a situation arises where I have used my transfer for some reason you will have to wait. There is no charge to adopt any of my pets, except for the pound's adoption fee. Also I reserve the right to reject an application for any reason and at any time.
