Her name was kiliaun. A small village girl who was born on Roo Island. Her parents are Rose, and Tom ice. Rose was very pretty, and tall. She had short red hair, and blue eyes. Tom had dark brown hair and seaweed green eyes. He was taller then rose by a few inches. Tom and Rose are good parents. At least...they were.

One day when the family still lived on Roo Island they were both stricken with a very bad case of pneumonia. They didn't want to give it to kiliaun so they sent her on a first class plane headed to Mystery Island. To live with grandma and grandpa. Kili absolutely hated the idea. She wanted to stay by her parents. To comfort them, to make the feel better, but she ended up the next day on the plane. She called her parents every day to talk. She would talk for hours about mindless things. Just to hear her mothers soothing, somehow-calming voice.

On a hot summer day she called them. Kili wanted to talk to her mother about something, but it wasn't her who answered. The one who answered the phone was Kili's brother, Istapp.
."Hello?" istapp said. Kili could hear in his voice that something was amiss. That something wasn't right.

."Istapp?" Kili said, "Where is mom?
Istapp inhaled deeply then exhaled slowly.
."Kili...I have some bad news" Istapp said. He sounded strong, but underneath Kili could fell that he was crying. Kili was always sensitive to people's feelings, and she knew he had something to tell her. What he wanted to tell her, She did not know.
."What? What is it? What's wrong?" kiliaun asked hesitantly
."You better sit down before I tell you" He seemed very depressed.
."Ok. What?"
."Kili...its about mom and dad."
."Yes?
."I don't know how to tell you this," He said in a hushed tone. He sighed. "It's difficult
."Just spit it out, whatever it is, I can handle it"
."Mom and dad...died last night." Istapp said not knowing what kili's reaction would be.
."...Wa...What?" Kiliaun said in a shaky voice.
."They...died..In their sleep last night." he replied in a whisper "I'm very sorry
A long silence came along. Kili didn't know what to say. She looked out her window. It was raining. It seemed it always rained when she was sad
."So...when is their furaral" Kili asked teary eyed
."We're not sure yet. We think it will be in a few weeks.
."I...I'm not going!" kili yelled throwing the phone onto the floor, and running out of the room.

That night kiliaun sat in her room, thinking. She went to her desk, and got out a peice of paper, and a pen. She started writing a poem. Kili, for some reason when she was sad, wrote poetry. She expresses her feelings, and writes her emotions. She is a wonderful poet, but nobody knows she even writes poetry. Usually kili can write a poem no problem, But tonight...i guess she just had too much on her mind.

She stood up and put in a CD. She liked classical music. It relaxed her, made all her worries fade away, but even the music couldn't settle down her restless mind. It was 7:00 the sky was dark, and rain was still falling from the thick gray clouds. Suddenly the phone rang. Kili looked at the caller ID. It was her friend, P3ngw3n.

."Hello p3n" Kiliaun said still depressed
."Hey kili...Istapp just called me. I'm so sorry. Is there anything I can do?" She asked
."It's ok. I'm alright.
."No your not.
."Hu?" kili asked confused.
."Your thinking about what you said to istapp before you hung up on him. You're regretting it.
."Show off" kilaun said simply
P3ngw3n could read minds. kili didn't really like the idea that p3n could tell what she was thinking, but you can read stop a mind reader from reading minds. That would be like telling a tall basketball player to play on his/her knees
."kili...you might not be the only one suffering. Istapp needs you. His mind was just as restless as yours. I could tell he was trying to be strong, but he's thinking about a lot of stuff." p3n said
Kiliaun didn't know what to say. She was usally never this...confused.
."Maybe...maybe your right." kili said. "Thanks P3n"

Kili went back and sat on her bed. She lay down, face down on her pillow. soon she got back up and grabbed her towel and her pajamas, and went in the bathroom. she took a long hot shower. it seemed to sooth her just a bit, but her mind was still buzzing with thoughts. after the shower she brushed her teeth. she looked in the mirror, and something she saw surprised her. Her eyes were not the normal green they usually were, but they were a very light blue. It surprised her but she was too sad and depressed to think about It.

The next morning Kili got up and ate breakfast - a boal of neocrunch and a banana - then she called istapp back. The phone rang twice then he picked up

."hello kili" istapp said
."hi"
."look kili if you calling just to--" Istapp didn't get to finish his sentence
."Istapp I'm sorry" kili blurtted out. "I'll come to the funeral.
